Dipiero's Ristorante

Kim was very friendly and helpful. Stopped in for a late dinner. Ended up with bruschetta and a thin crust pizza loaded with fresh ingredients. Service was on point and attentive. My margarita was delicious. The aisles are small but cozy and clean. I really enjoyed my experience.

Loved going to Dipiero's! We had not been back to the restaurant for 20yrs or so, and it was like stepping into a time capsule - still retaining the quaint intimate atmosphere. Three of us had classic and special pasta, as well as veal scallopini. The food and service was excellent!

This is our second time dining at Dipiero's and we love the food and the cozy atmosphere. Our server, Kim, was outstanding- warm, friendly and very helpful. We tried the eggplant lasagna and found it a great alternative to classic, pasta-based lasagna. In addition, I tried the sautéed spinach. Excellent! All-in-all, a wonderful dining experience.

I usually want to give 4 stars for reviews, but I have nothing to complain about. Jesus was our server, he made some suggestions for wine to go with our dinner when we asked. We had appetizer, main, and dessert. All was well timed, at temperature and was excellent. Sorry for the low light pictures of my seafood linguine, and our shared chocolate cake.

It's my favorite restaurant in Lake Zurich! The calamari appetizer is delicious. I am a pizza snob, and their Dipero's Special with thin crust never disappoints.
This is a family owner and run establishment, which translates to, warmth, and attention to detail.

These bad reviews are a joke. This is some of the best food and atmosphere ever in a restaurant-especially the burbs! This is our favorite date night spot and we love the vibe sitting at the bar. Our biggest problem is over ordering because we can’t skip getting a pizza, pasta and chicken or fish dish. But the food is just as amazing leftover the next day. We love that there are always the same servers/bartenders (hi Joel!) and many regulars who frequent this spot. I would assume people who complain about this place are not very cool.

This is a cozy romantic place yet it felt like a classic bar. We ordered fish, pasta, the veal, and wine. Their calamari was very good, the snapper and meatballs were fantastic. Our food did not come out hot but it was all very good. If you're going to get wine, buy a bottle, the price per glass is steep. I would definitely go back and try more dishes.

Kim is one of the best wait staff we've experienced. Food is really very good. 3rd time at restaurant and Kim is very good at suggesting too. Kim suggested an item not on the menu, I think is was chicken saltimbocca, for my friend, and she is still raving about it. I had chicken francese, my favorite. The men had a sausage potato dish that they loved.

We had a great time. The family/owner's were just outstanding. Loved the food. Felt like a old Sunday dinners with the family. It was my daughter Erin's birthday dinner. 👍👍👍🍷🍽🍸

Went here as a kid and I remembered pizza. Although that is available in a building next door now. We were told it was owned for 40 years and Although the inside was different I remember the owner from my early teen years. I can say the food was superb. It had the old school relax and enjoy your dinner feel. I'm so glad that in the time I grew up this restaurant I knew as a kid and remembered so fondly was still here with excellent food for me now to come back too again.

The calamari is the best I've had in years. Ask for bread when you order. You'll be in for a treat.

Restaurant is a small cozy place with a bar on one side. Table cloths, cloth napkins, and very delicious food. Something hard to find lately.

Having wanted to check out DiPiero's for many years, I finally met a friend there recently. Am I glad I did! We met at the bar, fully intending to scoot to one of the cozy tables, which were nice. But we liked the atmosphere of the bar so much, we stayed. And Jimmy, the bartender (and apparently, the maitre d' and waiter as well) was great. I started with a Manhattan, which usually comes straight up, but this one was on the rocks and garnished like an Old Fashioned -- delicious nonetheless -- and there was plenty of it. My friend and I shared an order of burrata, which was delightful. Then I couldn't decide what to order, everything on the regular menu and specials board all sounded so good. I went with a classic, linguine in white clam sauce. My friend went with another classic, Shrimp DeJonghe. Both were great. My linguine was a little salty but there was plenty of pasta and plenty of clams. I tasted her shrimp, which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Best of all, DiPierro's provided something I've been seeking for a long time, which I was starting to think didn't exist: a reasonably quiet atmosphere! There was soft Sinatra-like music in the backrgound, but the design/decor allowed for the absorption of sounds around us. Overall, the atmosphere was somewhere between "cozy Italian restaurant" and "Wisconsin supper club." Loved it! Will definitely be going back.

One note on something I did not care for: there is an un-announced $4.95 charge for using a credit card -- no matter how much you spend. Our bill was well over $100. And the menu prices are not so low that this is making up for something somewhere else. For this reason, I only give it four stars.

They fit us in on New Year’s Eve and made us feel at home. The food was excellent. Kids and adults loved the food. Great, friendly service and a warm atmosphere. Thank you for making a memorable night and saving our New Years Eve!!

Dipieros is such a great place. No matter what you order, you will not be disappointed. It's not very big, but it's very cozy. The main part of the restaurant is a bit dark, but that's not a complaint...adds to the ambience. The back section has a few tables, but has a lot of natural light. One of my favorites is their Chicken Francese...so good! Oh yeah, their pizza is awesome. Overall, a great place

I was at this restaurant about three months ago when I was in Scotland. And I am from Chicago and we have a lot of Italian restaurants. The service there was fantastic they treat us like they knew us for like years. Great food great drinks the host was also great. They give us suggestions of some of the food that was fabulous he also give a suggestion that food that sold the most at night. If they seen you when you eat out a lot and you try a lot of stuff so you kind of get confused on what you want to try.
