NTP is great here! The staff is out of this world caring & friendly. U don't feel judged. If u need help and you are serious about it this is the place to go.

In my experience, this place was amazing! They have helped me tremendously! The nurses were amazing, the doctors were amazing. I'm finally diagnosed right. I was tossed me around like I was nothing. Pill after pill.. I was just over it, so I went to acadia for help willingly, and let me tell ya, that was the best decision of my life! I thought I could never ever get to the point that I am now, but boy was I ever wrong, they helped a lot within 8 days. I am so thankful for the nurses and doctors there, its unexplainable. I finally feel semi good about myself, fell good about the future. I am finally back to the loving mom and fiance I once was. My family is so happy now! So my experience was the best. No I'm not fully better but I'm at a great start, the doctor wants to hear back from me in a few months... I am just so thankful for them. I am just amazed. I have nothing bad to say about the people or this place. I highly recommend this place!

Update- The NTP program is the best in the area! There adult med management leaves a lot to be desired at this time. I've been through 3 or 4 different providers in the last 14ish months. The person I had been seeing for years moved on. Since then it's been horrible! I end up having to go over everything at each apt because it's someone new and they obviouslyhaven'treviewed my recordsbeforetheapt. I'm about ready to go somewhere else because this has been the worst year of my life. It's a good thing I'm not suicidal!

The Day Treatment Program changed my life. It taught me many things that I carry with me today. I learned healthy coping skills and even made a few friends. Everyone was supportive and for the first time in a long time, I didn't feel alone. I could talk openly about my trauma and what was happening at home without feeling judged or like no one was listening. I even bonded with someone who, still to this day is my best friend. It's been almost 2 years since I was discharged from the program and I wouldn't trade a second of my time spent at Acadia for the world. I was in an all girl group and we all connected and supported one another. It truly was a beautiful experience. Don't get me wrong, there were very difficult days, but it was worth it. I could even say that the day treatment saved my life a couple of times when I was suicidal. I am so grateful for every man and woman who worked at Acadia both downstairs and upstairs.

Acadia Hospital was and is a life saver. The therapists I had, the in patient workers I dealt with, were great. My opinion was taken into consideration with everything. I can honestly say that without the help of this hospital, I would not be alive today, and I would not be clean from cigarettes, cutting, and purging. My life was turned around when I got help here, and if ANYONE is feeling like they even just want someone to talk to, Acadia has a hotline you can call. I am so thankful to all the workers there.

I'm actually baffled by the negative comments on this hospital ,let me set the record straight! I have a beautiful fiance who is almost 31 years old who has been in there for 8 days ,I love this woman more than words itself could possibly explain ,unfortunately due to her past and how she was raised she barely cared about anyone meaning me or our kids ,yes this is real and deep ,she didn't even care about herself ....she got jerked around being put on the wrong meds etc ,well guess what ?!She went to this hospital for help (she never believed anyone could ever help her )she's about to be released and we are very happy ,I'm happy the kids are happy why? Because every time I speak to my beautiful fiance she now always asks how our kids are doing ,she always tells me that she loves me (she barely did that before here) she thinks more positive about herself ,whoa I'm tearing up here one second .......Guys look the kids are getting there mom back I'm getting my loving fiance back ,this place actually saved her and our relationship ... Guys I'll be forever grateful for this hospital so if you have someone that you care about and love please for a piece of mind send your loved one to this hospital you will be forever grateful like we are ,baby I love you ,even though you might not ever read this comment I want to say welcome home my love ,again thank you Acadia hospital !

It's so nice to see friendly faces during very hard times in need! This place has helped our family a lot, saw clearly mom had PTSD from abuse instead of trying to load up with meds. Helped the kids step down and get off meds completely after being over dosed at a diff facility. Always listen to concerns and try to help.

I have been treated all over the state for mental health issues but it wasn't until seeing the doctors here that I finally started making progress in not only my mental health but my physical health as well. I have to travel an hour and a half to see the doctors but it is worth it! I will not go anywhere else.

Acadia hospital has the best NTP program I have ever been to. I myself have been to seven diff clinics across the usa. Acadia actually cares, unlike other clinics whom only care about the money. Acadia wants the client to get better. I have been ar acadia for three years. Thank you acadia hospital for changing my life. Special thanks to the NTP staff and supervisors.

I've been an ongoing patient for few years and during the entire time here I've NEVER had ANYTHING but good experience...

Treated very fairly as well as constant repeated updates to your treatment plan, which is based mostly on you, and your wants and needs...
I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND that ANYBODY in need of drug abuse coinciding and treatment to DEFINITELY select Acadia as your chosen location to get the much needed assistance that EVERYONE going through substance abuse and the list of problems that comes along with it, to get in contact with the staff and become a patient HERE...

I can almost guarantee that the people who leave negative reviews are pretty much certainly BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN REPEATED SCREW UPS, OR BECAUSE THEY ARE ONE OF THE SPECIFIC PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT GOING THERE TO WILLINGLY GET HELP AND GENERALLY ACTUALLY PASS THEIR RAND MONTHLY DRUG TESTS,
BUT INSTEAD ARE ONLY IN THE PROGRAM BY COURT OR DHHS ORDER AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO DESIRE TO BECOME CLEAN FOR THEMSELVES FIRST, AND THEN THEIR LOVED ONES....

I ENTIRELY VOUCH FOR ACADIA AS 100% MORE THAN WILLING TO DO ANYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO HELP YOU IMPROVE YOUR LIFE AND LIVING SITUATION...
BUT THEY AREN'T MIRACLE WORKERS AND INCAPABLE OF PERFORMING MAGIC. SO THEY CAN NOT HELP ANYONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BE HELPED...
THEY ARE NOT FORCEFULLY MAKING ANYONE CHANGE IN ANY WAY THAT YOU ARE ALREADY DETERMINED TO START DOING WITH THEIR HELP.
BUT FOR ALL OF THOSE WHO GENUINELY WANT TO CHANGE AND DO THEIR PART DURING THE TIME YOU'RE NOT INSIDE THE FACILITY, YOU PASS DRUG TESTING AND PARTICIPATE IN THE NUMEROUS USEFUL GROUPS OFFERED TO ALSO HE PATIENTS ALONG THE WAY, THEN YOU ARE DEFINITELY GONNA BE GLAD TO HAVE CHOSEN TO GET TREATMENT FROM THIS CLINIC....
