Kamchi

Hello! This place is nice. The service is good and the food is tasty. The restaurant was nice, quite and clean. The restrooms can use some work. I really enjoyed my food. I had the seafood with steamed rice and a Strawberry Mango Boba drink. Delicious! It's a big plate. It's almost ment for two people. Correct portions of course 😁. It's a husband and wife team. Dad is serving and mama does the cooking! When I'm back in town I'll definitely eat there again.

Best local Asian spot in Ada! The lunch special is an excellent deal with your entree, Crab Rangoon, egg roll, and rice/noodles. Peter is a great host and they cook it quickly.

This restaurant definitely a go! Food tasted superior. 😋. I ordered takeout from UberEats and picked up myself. I ordered Gyoza (pan-fried pork dumplings), Hot and Sour Soup (Tofu, Mushroom, Bamboo, and Egg) Soup tasted interesting but good. 👍. Kung Pao (Celery, Bamboo, Chestnut, Baby Corn. PeadPd, Mushroom, and Peanut) and Mini Fusion Roll (Pork, Shrimp, and Veggies) That tasted amazing! 😋

I've driven past this place multiple times and finally decided to go. I have to say I don't regret it at all. The food is absolutely delicious and it's probably a favorite restaurant of mine now. The moment I walked in the staff was very friendly and showed me how ordering works there.
I ordered strawberry boba which I thought would be tea consistency but it came out as a slushy. A very delicious surprise! I also got yellow curry with chicken and general chicken with white rice.
The spice level has four ranks from mild, medium, spicy, and even more spicy. I chose medium to test how spicy it would be and it has a strong kick to it more than I thought it would. Not that I would as I love spicy but I wasn't expecting medium to be so strong. If you're not good with spice you should probably get mild. Anything else would be testing it.
For appetizers I got crab Rangoon and calamari. The crab Rangoon are so creamy and the best I've had. Definitely recommend.
The wait time was also very fast considering how much I ordered.
I will definitely be going back again and highly recommend this to anyone who loves some good authentic food!

Second time eating here was yesterday and it was even more delicious than the first time! Vegan + peanut allergies really limits the places my husband and I eat out at but the menu had some options that looked safe (based on the description, they aren’t labeled as vegan or vegetarian)
When I told him what ingredients we were trying to avoid, he was very kind and accommodating and said we could order anything to be made the way we needed it! I got Bangkok Drunken Noodle and also shown is Korean Noodle. Our server also made sure to ask how much spicy heat we we’re comfortable with which is also appreciated. Food was sooooo good. The two meals were very different flavors and textures. Can’t wait to try something different next time (or not because YUM 😋)

We ordered the pad thai which was amazing. We also ordered the Massaman Curry which was good, but very different from other Massaman curries we have had and loved. The portion sizes were huge, 1 entree is more than enough for two meals. I look forward to trying more dishes, but wouldn't order the Massaman again because its just too different from how I love this dish served.

Lots of flavors, enjoyed every bite. Nice varieties of food in one location (Korean, Thai, Chinese under one roof)

Nice little restaurant. The food was really good and presented nicely. The gentleman who served me was also very polite and gave me good suggestions for the menu. Would definitely go back again.

I like the food. The Thai fried rice 🍚 is delicious. Peter the owner is very nice, so friendly and helpful.

Haven't been in for a year. Was so happy to see Pete and Melinda and get my Bulgogi and Fusion rolls which are always fantastic with crab ragoons.

This place is simply amazing. Amazing food and staff. I'm eating here more and more often.

Overall, if you’re looking for a restaurant that will satisfy your spicy cravings, you won’t be disappointed by this one. The food is expertly prepared, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend giving it a try!

As always, Kamchi has great tasting Thai food. Pete is the best. Great service and relaxing atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. Will be going back again.

I really like Kamchi. There are a lot of options to build your own meal. The Kimchi comes out sizzling with carbonation from its fresh fermentation. I prefer dine-in to take-out as noodle dishes can firmly set-up and soups lose their heat.

Everything was delicious.. The hot and sour soup was some of the best I've ever had. I had the cashew and tofu and it was very flavorful and fresh. My husband had the Pho bowl and the broth was amazing. Everything came out quickly and interior was clean and quiet. We will definitely be returning.

Outstanding restaurant food is awesome fresh veggies and meat is cooked perfectly the sweet and sour sauce is the best I've had in country. This is a family owned business in Ada Mi and another one in Rockford Mi. This is a must stop for a great meal.👍🇺🇲

What a great little restaurant. Lots of different dishes, from Korean to Thai to Chinese to Vietnamese. All tasty. As spicy or mild as you want them. Reasonable prices. Cozy atmosphere. Easy to get a parking spot and table.

While there were not many reviews of Kamchi of which to base our decision of having dinner here we decided to give it a shot regardless. I am glad we did. I can only speak to the time that we visited which was later on a rather quiet Monday evening. The only one working was what seemed to be the owner, who graciously seated us, explained the menu to us as first time customers, cooked our food and also waited our table. He was kind and made suggestions based on questions we had.

The food was brought out for three people within 1 minute of each other piping hot and beautifully presented with care. We ordered peanut curry noodle, drunken noodle, and vietnamese pho. Each was excellent and prepared precisely as it was ordered. The portions were large enough that two of us left with boxes for later.

The restaurant is completely remodeled and has a nice ambience.

If you are on the fence, do yourself a favor and try it out. Support a local business that seems to be owned by a nice individual who makes great food! I know I'll try it again in the near future.

We are so glad to have Kamchi in Ada. My husband & I have eaten there many times, and we have really enjoyed everything. This local delight is run with few staff (2?), yet they are great at what they do. The gentleman who greets you is busy, but super friendly and always pleasant. I’m hooked on their tea, the eggplant curry, peanut noodles and general’s chicken. The egg rolls and gyoza are also delicious. Support local, visit Kamchi & you won’t be disappointed, guaranteed! Super glad they weathered the past year. They offer takeout as well as dining in.
