If you like risotto, try the risotto with lobster.

Call it ironic, went to Dominic's because of a negative one star review. It was really Kayla's review that sold us. Complaining about how it's a Sicilian restaurant and they don't have lasagna and other Americanized Italian, I knew this was the spot. While I do feel sorry to hear of her father's dietary restrictions and misunderstanding of what real Italian food is. Unlimited soup salad and bread sticks at Olive garden sounds like the "Italian" they were looking for. Back to the our experience, it was awesome we laughed with the staff and had a ball joking around. The snails with artichoke were special and perfectly savory. Arincini was slap ya momma good. I also got the pappardelle with the veal picatta, didn't want a full portion of pasta so they offered half, so I was happy. All I can say about the negative reviews is read the menu before you go this isn't Olive garden. Be prepared for true Italian dishes that you don't see every day and prepared with love and attention.

The last time I came here was 20 years ago. I had the most fanominal scallops I've ever had. Not surprising they were no longer on the menu. I mentioned to our waiter that I still talk about those scallops when Domincs comes up in conversation. When he came back for our order, he came with 3 menues from 20 years ago and asked me to find the dish I liked so much and offered to make it special!!!
Dominic hemself came over to our table to greet us. What a lovely man.
It's no wonder this is the #1 restaurant in St. Louis. Thank you for a truely memorable evening.

The dinner here was absolutely spectacular! Presentation of tableware, meals & the service from the amazing servers, EXCELLENT! Every bit of our time this evening was excellent. Magical! I highly recommend this place for a romantic evening, family dinner or just to get an absolutely delicious meal. Love this place, truly.

Wow wow wow!!! Dominic's surpassed all expectations!!! We came here for my 31st birthday with our 10 month old son. Every one from the server to the owner came to our table and our experience was world class. The chef even brought freshly made pasta to our baby, put cheese on it, cut it up for him, and watch with genuine joy as our baby enjoyed the special dish they brought him. That was the best birthday gift of the night. Their dedication to making us feel like rockstars made the night one we will never forget. Thank you Dominic's!!!

One of the best restaurants in St. Louis, Dominic's is old world class. The staff are classically trained, the dishes are finished table side, and if you're lucky, Dominic himself will sing you happy birthday!

It was a very vintage, lovely,clean and relaxing atmosphere. The people were first class and very professional. The food was delicious. We will go back!

This place is definitely a hidden gem. I took my girlfriend here last night for Valentines Day. Reservation was on time, took maybe 3 minutes to be seated. The place has low lighting, candles on the table, kind friendly staff, amazing food and a very relaxed atmosphere. All around a very nice place.

Another exceptional dinner at Dominic’s on the Hill. From the moment you walk in it is a special experience. The service has always been spot on….attentive but not rushed. The lamb was incredible. Great wine list plus the perfect coffee w dessert. This restaurant is a true Italian gem.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here. It was such a lovely balance of delightful ambience, old-school service and class combined with amazing flavors accenting the quality food. An unforgettable experience. I particularly appreciated the quality of the food presented as well as the attentiveness of all of the wait staff. They were a perfect balance of attentive but not too familiar. A highlight was meeting Dominic in person, as he was roaming from table to table greeting each of his guests on the evening we were there. A truly wonderful evening.

My husband and I come here for special occasions. We came here last year (November) after we got engaged and then again this year for a holiday dinner on the 23rd. Both times, the service was spectacular, we were seated immediately upon arrival, and the ambiance of the place is very classy, romantic, and upscale. The place is very clean, with tasteful art on the walls. We had the eggplant for an appetizer and it was so soft and delicious. I had the lobster risotto and my husband had a veal dish. I’m not usually a veal person but after taking a few bites of his dish, I preferred his veal to my risotto! The veal was just delicious. Our captain was friendly and the service was quick, but not rushed.

what a perfect evening to celebrate 52 years of marriage with my best friend!! Great dinner and most excellent martinis to start the evening!! Our waiter was most attentive and knowledgeable in describing choices on menu. Definitely a special place for special celebrations!! We will be back!!!

Fabulous restaurant! My boss through our Law Firm Christmas Party here and they were so accommodating and very nice. Also has some fabulous singers if you're lucky enough to witness a show ♡

My husband and I went to this amazing Italian restaurant in March 2021. We had heard about the Hill in St Louis having some of the best Italian food around. It’s the truth! You will not be dissatisfied. From the moment we walked in the door, we received 5 star service. The staff are exceptional. We ate delicious food that made us feel the love the chef and others had put into it. My husband asked our waiter if we could personally thank our chef. We were able to. Dominic’s is the place to go if you want a romantic dinner or an outstanding Italian eating experience. We will never forget it. We will be back!

Delicious, delicious, delicious! Special on our visit was a sea bass dish and it was incredible. 8 in our party every dish was delectable. Service was polished and efficient. Our drink server mixed a special drink for my 83 yr old father that wasn't on their menu. It was a graduation celebration 🎓🍾 and Dominic's exceeded our expectations! 🥰

We usually go to Dominic's to celebrate personal anniversaries. The ambience is always great, cozy and the food always tastes good. One of the good high end restaurants I had been to in Missouri.
