Brain Storm

Absolutely awesome toy shop! The owner (in the picture) was incredibly cool. He explained all the games to us and played them with our kiddos. He seriously knew everything about every game and kept bringing out more games and letting them play. If you are in Suttons Bay with kids this place is a must stop!!

I love this store. I went there a few years ago and had to go back again this year. The owner knows about all the games he carries and can make solid recommendations. They also have games open and available to play before you buy if you are so inclined. Also a good selection of puzzles and the most amazing windchimes (too big for my home but so cool) and other hobby-type products. Will always return here when I am in Suttons Bay.

Just the best toy store. Owners are wonderful and will talk with you and let you try the toys out. We come here every summer trip up north.

To say our family loved our visit to Brain Storm is an understatement. We are vacationing in Northern Michigan from northern KY and loving the local shops. Here they had games the kids could try, touch, and play with. They were introduced to new games and took Klask home with us and added several to the Christmas list. The employees were interacting with the kids, teaching them, and helping my husband and I find the best bang for our buck. It was FANTASTIC!!!

This place is MAGIC! My wife and I had one of the best retail experiences imaginable here. We were browsing when the store employee, who we later found out was the owner, asked if he could help us. He said he had played every game so he could give a synopsis if we needed one. At first we didn’t believe him, but we left 40 minutes later with many many games and toys in tow and found out he wasn’t exaggerating. You can tell he hand selects every item to be in the shop because it is excellent quality and so much fun!!! We will DEFINITELY go back. This will be a go to spot for bday and Xmas present shopping - far better than shopping online!

Love this store so much!! The staff was so knowledgeable about the games, spent time teaching my children about the games and even introduced them to new games/activities. My children and I enjoy stopping in whenever we make it to Sutton’s Bay.

I wish the store had hand sanitizer handy since play is so strongly encouraged, but how playful the staff is always tugs my heart strings. Whimsical and fun, and they have an open copy of most board games to check out and play around with before you make purchase decisions. I love this place!

“Come on in. Touch everything and make noise”. That’s how you welcome kids into a game store. This place is wonderful. My family and I really enjoy the great selection and assortment of games, puzzles, and oddities. The staff here really know how to “show and tell”. We find something fun and new every time we visit.

The cutest little toy shop in the cutest little town. The owner/shop clerk was kind enough to let us exchange an item that my daughter realized was not at the level she needed. Highly recommend!

We just love Brain Storm so much. Every year we make a point to stop in Sutton's Bay specifically to go to Brain Storm and Enerdyne. The owners are so kind, fun, and helpful. I was very appreciative that they were limiting the number of guests in the store to help curb the spread of COVID-19. My children were treated with grace and respect, as of THEY were the paying customers, which was a breath of fresh air. If you are traveling M-22 and you have kids you want to buy a gift for, be sure to stop into Brain Storm

We stopped in while it was raining just to browse, and the staff were so helpful! They truly care about bringing fun to their customers and finding the right fit. Great experience :)

So many games...unique games...and they know about each one. They have great explanations and suggestions. You can even try a game as they have an example open for examination. And did I say puzzles? Great, beautiful puzzles.

A really great selection of games, puzzles, etc... that entertain and exercise your brain. Games for all ages!

Cool shop. They have tons of games with many of them sitting out & they teach you how to play them! Great stop especially if you have kids.

Unique games, beautiful Petoskey stones, great selection of jigsaws and chimes. Hands on store; what's not to love!
