Bay books is such a wonderful bookstore! There's something for every member of the family. My favorite part of the store is the kids room, as you can tell from the photo my daughter made herself at home and had a blast reading and exploring the space! I highly recommend stopping in if you're in Suttons Bay, it's such a treat, and the owner is very wonderful!

I'm not in the area often, but after stumbling across this store in October, Bay Books is a must visit! Phenomenal selection - I could spin in a circle, point, and find something to fall in love with. Whoever does the buying is my soul sister. On top of that, the customer service I experienced is unmatched when it comes to book stores. This shop made my day.

Sweet little Shop Around The Corner type old fashioned book store, feel like family when you enter, have a seat, meet an author, have some lemonade and a cookie. First class selection of thoughtful reading.. very nice…

Fantastic selection! Seriously, visit this bookstore. The worker (I never got her name) but she was phenomenal. She had great book recommendations, was very easy to chat with, and was a tremendous help. You can’t find many gems like this anymore!

This is an outstanding tiny bookstore; it's not going to accommodate more than a dozen people at a time, but there's plenty to charm the tourists or locals.

The collection of titles has something for everyone.

Much of the front is devoted to books and a few games for children of all ages, while titles for adult readers reflect bestseller lists, book club suggestions, more esoteric sources, and the well-educated eclectic tastes of the owner.

If you're looking for Michigania, there's a good selection of hiking, kayaking, bicycling, "off-the-beaten-track", nature, winery, and other guides.

I'm a complete literary sci-fi geek and was delighted to find authors I'd never heard of before. Likewise, the cookbooks, gardening, history, and general literary fiction sections held gems that had me taking notes and reaching for my wallet.

This bookstore is a necessary presence in Northern Michigan, and I look forward to return visits.

This place has an amazing and interesting selection of titles! After only a few minutes here, it becomes so clear that the owner has worked really hard to curate a store where no corner is missing an excellent book.
