Old Settlers Park

Nice park located on the southeastern shore of Glen Lake. The main area of the park is high above the water. It has many picnic tables and grills, and benches as well. There is a modest playground and a small gazebo. At one corner of the park, there is a chapel that can be reserved. There is also a viewing deck right next to the chapel with great lake views.
Along the lake, there is one rogue picnic table as well. There is no beach but there is a dock. Also there is a small boat launch.

This park was the perfect place for a picnic! It wasn’t busy at all but it is just starting to warm up so i’m not sure how it would be in the summer. Everything that makes a perfect park is right here. There’s a play area, water access, lots of seating, and bathrooms. It was easy to park as well. Definitely plan on visiting again when i’m in the area!

The park is wonderfully kept up. There is no beach but there is a put in for boats. There is a trail to the lake so it was great taking our paddle boards down. The water is clean and beautiful. Bring water shoes it's a bit rocky😉

Great spot to swim in Glen Lake. The dock is the perfect spot to get into the water and avoid swimmers itch.
The bathrooms are better than the usual pit toilet too. Our kids especially like the water pumps - totally old school.

the only public place on the Glene lake where you could go swimming in the lake. Nicely equiped, with clean restrooms and crystal clear water.
Great for children, the is dock there with ladder down to water. No sandy beach unfortunately.

Low key park but nice, it has grills, picnic tables, beach access and a dock you can launch small water craft from (kayaks, sups etc)

Nice picnic grounds with gazebo and access to Lake Glen. Though it's a rocky bottom here, the water is warm and very shallow.

Beautiful place and not many people there. Water was cool and inviting on a hot summer day.

Great place for a picnic or just some time relaxing. Great view with access to Glen Lake. Tables and a small gazebo to chill and enjoy the park. Well maintained, parking, dock, and huge play spaces.
It does not have trash receptacles so please take your refuse with you!!

Great old park with large gazebo and benches,water spicot, grills and tables. Used to have a flag raising on the 4th of July. One of the few public access to Glen lake. Steps lead to a long dock, double wide. Is usually packed in the summer. Water very shallow, rocky but dock gets out past that. 2 girls were walking 50 yards out

One of the loveliest parks in the county. A gazebo picnic tables and beautiful views of Glen Lake. The small Chapel there is available to rent though it is not for large crowds and is on air conditioned!

This is a great spot for families looking to picnic close to Glen Lake or the Dunes, with a marker that tells the story of the park. Bathroom and play equipment are available. Lots of picnic tables and a lake view.

Playground was in Fair Condition pier was beautiful water was nice, there is not much beach there and underwater is rocky so water shoes are a must

Great Park, beautiful grounds and view! Pit toilet's were pretty clean, nice grass and shade for a nap. Awesome place to spend the afternoon.

I love this park! It is a beautiful park with huge old oaks and maples, plenty of parking and picnic sites, and a great view overlooking Big Glen Lake!

The drives need plowing out.So people can walk down through the and see what is going on down there. Can't see very from the road. But there are a lot of people who would like to walk down there if there was a path

Cute little park quiet and peaceful. I went for an Arron Boyd benifit concert. AMAZING!
