Martha's Leelanau Table

The experience at Martha’s was truly a treat! I stumbled across an Open sign on a Sunday evening (on Mother’s Day!) without a reservation and was promptly offered the first available table by a cozy fire pit outside by the wonderful hostess. The live music was lovely, the service was just, impeccable! And the food… I can’t wait to return to try everything on the menu. Thank you so much for making my long road trip feel so warm and inviting. Truly a surprise treat.

Lovely small dining restaurant with high end quality meals. First meal here years ago were delicious fish tacos. The fish perfectly cooked. Jalapeno sauce great accent. This week i went for Traverse City restaurant week. Once again, a magnificent meal. I started with siraccha stuffed mushroom caps. I love mushrooms, so easy to please, although i really didn't catch the siraccha. I then had a steak in lobster sauce with shrimp. A side of scalloped potatoes. Absolutely delicious with the steak cooked exactly how i requested. For dessert i had the turtle sundae which was a wonderful finale. There was no disappointment. Highly recommend. Again and again and again...

Our dinner was great - make that reservation - the food is very fresh and very flavorful! I am usually so so about dessert but consider getting one of these desserts. They are delicious I had a tiramisu that rivaled some of my favorite places in New York. I got so excited I forgot to take a picture of it. Friends had the coconut cream pie and homemade ice cream sundae. All very tasty.

We ate breakfast here several years ago and visited again this past week, and it was all we remembered and more. Warm, intimate space indoors, and the service was exceptional. Our waiter (David) was attentive, helpful, and professional, and made the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. The food was delicious- would highly recommend for a quality experience.

Martha's quaint and atmospheric vibe makes it an ideal location for a quiet lunch. Starting with their soup de jour and the raclettte, both dishes seemed freshly made while their sandwiches were fantastic and possessed a homemade quality you don't find at larger restaurants. 10/10 would try again.

Hidden gem, top spot in Leelanau for sure. The food is fantastic! Great service and atmosphere for bonus points!

Martha’s was great! We sat out on their patio, which was so cute. It was a little chilly (we went at the end of September) and they gave us little throw blankets to use at our table! The waiter was very nice and very knowledgeable. A great place to go for our first anniversary!

Vegan chorizo chili is amazing.
Prime rib satisfies without impressing, not living up to the claim.
Prix fixe is a great value.

Lovely family restaurant with amazing food, ambiance and service! Try the duck and meatloaf. Loved it and we’ll be back.

The atmosphere on the outdoor patio with soothing live music set the tone early for Martha’s Leelanau Table. Raphael, our Waiter, made excellent suggestions and knew the menu and specials like the back of his hand. Despite being short staffed, the service exceeded every expectation. You can often tell all you need to know by the bread an establishment serves. A perfectly crunchy and chewy crust with a fresh soft middle got the evening going. A complimentary bowl of the red bean and pork chili was robust and flavorful with large chunks of tender pork. However, the braised short rib my wife ordered and the Surf and Turf I chose were some of the best meals we have ever enjoyed. The New York Strip was prepared to a perfect medium as requested, and the potatoes au gratin were rich and tasteful. I can’t recommend this place enough. A true gem in Sutton’s Bay.

Martha’s is a must stop in Sutton’s Bay. Great wine list, raclette cheese app with potato wedges to dip, salmon with blackened shrimp and 8 oz Oscar filet topped off with jumbo lump crab.

Absolutely outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. Truly a one of a kind place that I look forward to going back to.

What an amazing experience! We’re so glad it was recommended because we might have passed by otherwise. Martha and team are delivering wonderful food in a cozy “home” setting with attentive and friendly service. The vibe is perfect for the area, neither pretentious nor lackadaisical, it’s definitely a place we’ll recommend and revisit.

Martha's is amazing! Their burgers are to die for. I will try more of the menu soon, but I also love that they have tater tots as an option! The staff are like family and it truly is a unique and amazing dining experience.

Amazing little bistro that has as incredible food and a wonderful atmosphere. There was live music and if music and Martha herself made the Brie appetizer that was incredible. They also have very good cocktails and an excellent wine selection.
