El (Los) Mariachi Mexican Restaurant

Wife and I both had the combination, paid the up charge to exchange burritos for enchiladas. My daughter got the kids burrito. Food was great, and my daughter went to town. I wish I could have gotten a picture of her face when she seen fried ice cream for first time. I wish I would have looked closer at the menu and realized cheese sauce was not the same as queso and chips. Pretty quiet, not a lot of people at once but they came and went as we were there. This is definitely somewhere to go for an authentic Mexican meal.

You won't be impressed with the aesthetics(don't judge a book by it's cover) but the food was really good and the customer service was friendly and attentive. The portions were a good size. My kids couldn't finish their food(leftovers). Seems to be a popular place for take out. They were constantly filling orders for pick up. It is a little far for us but we'd definitely go back.

Best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. Tortillas were cooked and warm not crumbly. Carnita meat was delicious and tender. Rice and beans were fresh and flavorful. The agua's fresca's were delicious and there was a wide variety. The chips and salsa were complementary and didn't taste like just tomato sauce. The only complaint I had is the dining room was a bit chilly because it was small and a lot of people were coming in and out. My servers were great.

Immediately greeted, seated, and supplied with chips and salsa. Ordered lemonade to drink and fish tacos (asked for corn tortillas instead of the flour). The meal comes with 2 sides. I chose rice and beans. The food was prepared very well and was absolutely delicious, well seasoned, and freshly cooked. I will definitely be back, and will bring others!!!

Food was amazing, it's kind of a small quaint place and they don't have any alcohol which could be a pro or con for some people. We recommend getting the sante fe burrito!

Food is really good and authentic. The staff were very nice and seated us even though it was close to closing time (we did not realize). Still got our food fast and fresh and were not rushed to get out.

I die over the Mexican sandwich. Omg it is so good and very authentic. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant hands down. I love the presentation even when it is carryout. It's delicious and I really don't have a bad thing to say about all on the menu or the friendly staff

Good food, and i love the chips and salsa. I usually order pick up but they have a decent size dining area.
I am wondering if they changed their pico digallo recipe. I feel like they replaced cilantro with basil.

Food flavor and prices are unmatched it was worth it I'm so glad we decided to try this place will definitely be back I can't explain how good this place is you must try it

Today was my first time and I just got a quick to go of salsa, chips and guacamole. It was so fresh and so good! Already planning my next visit and it will be next week :)

This place is crazy good! I'm a painter and I get excited everytime i get a job in this area just to get lunch here! 😆 I wish they were open Mondays but I get it. The food might be the most delicious and authentic Mexican food I've had in my life and the servers are also very good.

It looked like the servers were closing up for the night, so I double checked they still for sure wanted us to eat. They did! And they were so kind and welcoming and offered information we didn't know without having to ask. I have been told if you see el pastor on the menu, order it! I knew enough on my own that lengua is a rare treat so yes definitely ordered that and got a beef Taco. All superb! All cooked perfectly. We were just happening by from an hour and a half trip. Now we know that when we go to Westland again we go to El Mariachi! I'm so bummed I didn't see the elote on the board at first because my little boy loves that! So we will have to come back. Thanks!

We haven't been here in years since it was the New Mexico restaurant. We had dinner here and it was as delicious as before! There was only one server, so it was a few minute wait to be seated, but our orders came quickly, and the server was great. I had the three taco plate (al pastor, chicken, and more al pastor because I don't like steak), with refried beans, and my new favorite, black bean salad. It was all delicious! My husband had the shrimp tacos, which were also really good. Oh, and yes, the salsa is excellent.

This place is a hidden gem! Not only is it visually appealing with the food, but absolutely tasteful and wonderful. The workers and staff are always so kind. The tostadas and Mexican sandwich are some of my favorite 😍. Please support this small business you won’t regret it ☺

So glad I stopped in to try this place. It was small but soooo good. The service was excellent, food was yummy, and the price affordable. I will be back!

My husband and I have lived in the area for over 30 years and have tried almost every Mexican restaurant in a 20 mile radius. This restaurant food is Amazing!!!! The best fajitas and refried beans I’ve ever had. The only caveat would be larger portions 😃

Employees are very courteous and friendly, food is very good, fast and the atmosphere is charming. Would recommend to family and friends!

More than I was expecting for the price. Was served quickly and enjoyed what we ate.

The agua fresca is so delicious and refreshing, never fails!!! Must try for summer time :) I love the watermelon flavor

Absolutely love this place. I have been going to the restaurant since I was a little kid! It's great food! I always enjoy taking my family here to eat!
