Delicious, fresh food. The grill is out in the open, u can watch them cook your food. The restaurant is clean. The family that owns it is very friendly. And it is definitely my new breakfast spot.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the environment was lovely, the food was awesome, the food was so much for the price, my boyfriend and I love trying new places and this will be a place we come back to

A & L Ham Palace is a "must visit" spot for me when I am in Detroit. The owners are friendly, warm and helpful while always working hard. Food is a good value: ample and tasty, freshly prepared and served on the spot -- just like good home cooking.

I found this place in 1994 and I'm still a customer. They made an impression on me with their food, class, and service. If you want the best breakfast in Southwest Detroit this is it. The omelets are huge and you get a half platter of hashbrowns with it. You always get your money's worth here. No skimping like some other places! The lunch menu is vast with staples like corn beef, pitas, and of course ham. The atmosphere is always eclectic, you never know who you might run into there. The staff is 3 brothers which I've had the pleasure of knowing all these years. Since then the father retired and the sister is even part of the crew. It's always a good time there any time of the day. My children love this place, as it has turned into their favorite place for pancakes and French toast. Overall this place is excellent for anyone with a big appetite and a taste for awesome food. I've brought to and recommended this place to countless people I know, and didn't. You can't go wrong with place and you have my word on that! A++ in my book.

Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had so much love was put in it. The gravy was loaded so each biscuits was coated just right my. My daughter had a smile on her face as she went mmmm... omg mom 🤤 so buttery 🧈

A great little diner! Anything you order will be more food than you expected. Very friendly people with counter banter from regulars. A great place to take the kids or anyone who remembers what a nice diner used to be like! The prices are reasonable and a good value when you see what you get!!! There should be a place like this in every neighborhood, unfortunately they're not that common anymore. Help support small business and discover a wonderful place were you will soon be a familiar face, because if you stop in once, you will be back!🤗😋

Staple of the neighborhood. Great food. Parking for trucks which is great for me. They close for a cpl weeks every year and deep clean and remodel. Love this place

Referred by a friend and this joint did not disappoint! Come for the food and stay for the show! Real deal cooking with some true Detroit grit. Fresh cooked meals right in front of you. Skip McDonald's... This is a must if you are in Detroit!
