I’ve been coming to this place for years. I love getting haircuts and hair color by Kim. However, this time I wanted highlights and didn’t have availability any time during the week so I decided to do a walk-in appointment. Thankfully the had an opening and I was assigned Tianna. This was the first time I got to see her work and I absolutely loved my highlights and experience with her. Don’t hesitate to give her a chance :)

I cannot recommend a better place to get a haircut in the twin cities. For $25, you get both a haircut and a shampoo. My barber, Nam, did a great job on my hair and cut it in a way that white people just can't achieve. He also went above and beyond in my fade and styling my hair after. The store is very busy and you might have to wait a bit, but the wait is worth it.

Hands down my favorite hair salon. Not only are the prices reasonable, but they do a great job coloring and cutting my Asian hair. Be sure to make an appointment especially if you’re not just getting a hair cut. We’ve moved away from Minnesota, but I still come back here when we visit family to get my hair done. Trang is a wonderful stylist. Super attentive and easy to talk to.

If you want this trendy mullet haircut, go to Mai Hoa! My hair is straight and thick, so this took a couple of sessions to perm and cut, and then I waited for the bottom part of my hair to grow and came back for a final mullet trim.

They are all amazing, especially Kim, Trang, Tianna are very kind and lovely. The salon is busy at times and you might have to wait, so you want to book a time in advance and be patient. Once you establish the client relationship, these ladies do great work for an affordable price that you can’t find anywhere else in the twin cities. Highly recommend.

Trang cut my hair and she was amazing. English was their second language but she did her best to accommodate the hairstyle I wanted. I asked for a two block and she cut it perfectly for me. It's hard to find a stylist or barber that cuts it well and she did a great job.

I called this salon this morning and asked for a same day appointment because I had gotten my hair cut and colored at a different salon yesterday and the color was all wrong.

They graciously accommodated and put me at ease. They listened to what I wanted (“bronde”) coloring and assured me they could fix the bizarre job done by another salon.

I was so impressed, they even had two people foiling and blow drying my hair.

It’s definitely a no frills place, but they do a great job and I soooo appreciated them getting me the same day. Before and after photos attached.

Got a cute haircut from Trang! She works efficiently and is nice. Wash, cut, and style in 30 minutes for $35.

I decided to give this place a shot because I was looking for an Asian stylist for my Asian hair. People in the west simply don’t understand our hair functions differently. Initially I was a bit scared by the reviews but gave it a shot. I called in for an appointment and requested for Kim like the other reviewers.

I walked in at my appointment time, it wasn’t that long after they opened at 10 but they were already pretty packed. Fortunately I was helped once they could—so only had to wait like 10-15 min. I asked Kim for a two block and she got right to work. She knows her stuff! I didn’t even get a chance to show her a photo of what I wanted but she nailed it. Not only did she cut my hair well—she also washed it and helped me style it a bit—to teach me how to do it myself. Super sweet lady and all this came to 23$. Needless to say I will be back.

I have been going here for more than a decade now, and it’s always worth the wait (it’s a popular place, so be prepared to wait) to have my cut and color done right at a fantastic price. The few times I’ve had to go other places (in emergency situations) I’ve always had to come back and get it fixed here. They are all experts of Asian hair, but I specifically request Kim each time.

I have the most resilient, stubborn, thick Vietnamese hair. This salon has been the only tried and true place over the years. The only place that has successfully given me hair cuts, perms, and platinum bleaches. Literally go to college out of state and come back to get my hair done by them because they're the only people to never fail hair like mine!

This is my go-to place for a haircut in the Twin cities! Great no-frills Asian haircut, and great value prices. A wash and cut for only $20!

They don't have any front desk person who greets you so it might be disconcerting at first because of the chaos. But if you've made an appointment you will be fine. So don't be intimidated by the foreign language and busy-ness of the place! Well worth it - quick and efficient

This salon gets super busy, but they are good with people helping the stylists by washing hair and blow dry to keep customers moving. Reservations are advised but they will try to accomodate walk ins as much as possible. I have not had issues with getting the cut (men's) I want from the three stylists I've had (Kim, Trang, and Nam).

Not always sure how long I'll be waiting on a given day, but they do excellent work, are very friendly and great pricing for men's cuts. Once you're in the chair it's being bong boom

I saw a woman with fine, thin, straight, short hair like just like me. Unlike me, her hair looked GREAT! She told me Nam had been cutting her hair for years. I went yesterday and this is the BEST cut I’ve had in years. My last cut was at Bloody Gorgeous and it was $60 more than Nam charges. Im delighted. Thanks Nam!

I've always been coming here. Can't get better and genuine service anywhere else.

I'm a male and all of them are amazing at what they do.

They wash your hair twice, before and after cut.

They spend about 10 min for me and cut places other shops would just be too lazy to make sure it's correct .

They use this blunt knife to kind of even out my ends which is really nice and it's looks so good :)

Everyone there is super nice and wait time can is always else than 30 min. Usually 10-15 average

Really good experience! The person who cut my hair was Trang and I recommend her if you want your hair cut 😁 I haven’t cut my hair in over a year and was nervous that I would look bad with the haircut but she did a really good job! She cut how much I wanted and styled my hair beautifully.
