Marissa's Supermarket

Great selection of Mexican grocery and cleaning products. The meat counter is great (there's fried tilapia and fresh salsa on the weekends), the food counter is great (I recommend getting the chilaquiles for breakfast), and the bakery on the other side of the building is great. This little store has come a long way and expanded a lot in the last few years.

Marissa's has absolutely everything I could ever want in a Mexican Supermarket.

Everything is written in Spanish so I was using Google Translate to scan whenever I saw something that I couldn't identify by looking at it. I got the feeling people were wondering what that white guy was doing. Eventually a manager with a concerned look asked if she could help me. It later occurred to me that she probably thought I was an ICE agent. Funny and sad.

Absolutely phenomenal selection of Mexican groceries, especially sauces and sodas! Butcher counter has a great selection, and their in-store taqueria is affordable and delicious too. Most but not all staff speak English, but it's just another reason for you to learn more Spanish. :)

Fresh, warm tortillas! Amazing selection of hot sauces and Latin spices.

Polo tacos are amazing. Prepared from fresh chopped chicken, served with green salsa, onions, cilantro, radishes and roasted pearl onion. Best $2.59 taco in the twin cities. On Saturday's - the best carnitas tacos in the midwest!

Los Maizales tortillas from the bakery here are absolutely the best! They're magically thin and from a very nice grade of unbleached flour /harina. I wish they would bring back the larger size they used to make and the Colcafe instant coffee they used to sell (the best / richest tasting choice among all instant coffee).

This store now known as Colonial has a great variety, generous takeout food, tempting fresh baked panaderia treats and helpful and friendly staff.

Cafeteria-style Mexican bakery that specializes in making delicious, authentic sweet treats for a low, low price. The process is simple: just grab (with tongs) what appeals to you from any of the cases, place it on a tray, take it to the front, and get rung out. There's no frills about it - in the store, in the checkout process, or in the desserts themselves - but what there is, at leaving, is likely a paper bag filled with half a dozen delicious conchas, galletas, or empanadas (among other things) for less than $10.

It's incredible.

The meat here is awesome so fresh and at a good Price it's the best mexican market in town! They have fresh fruits and vegetables all the time, and their own bakery, if you feel like just getting something to eat you can also eat here in the restaurant.

I love this bakery! I've been coming here since I was a little kid. Brings back memories when I step inside. And their bread is good too 😊

This place has awesome mangoes for only $1.99 each. I'm Vietnamese Catholic and was surprised they also sell lots of statutes of saints too. It's being remodeled to be bigger so there will be even more stuff sold here in the future. Everything you need to cook great Mexican cuisine (or most any cuisine). Their deli is the best. Their produce is high quality and cheap.

Love this place. I can cook al my great grandma, grandma and mom's recipes again!!!

Excellent source for honest ethnic ingredients you won't find in a cub, l&b or hyvee.

All the things I needed can be found here. Takes a little time to get used to the entrance angle of the parking lot, but well worth my time.
