Run Away Fast!!! After moving into a bad neighborhood in Minneapolis, thieves stole my mail and started charging things to my Dish satellite account. It took months to straighten that out, and they I realized they also stole my home insurance renewal notice. When I realized this, I went directly to my agent to explain what happened and try to straighten everything out. My credit is perfect and I'd never not paid a bill, so I hoped things could be fixed. But, this agent made everything ten times worse! He got on the phone with the insurance company and told them I didn't live at my home! So, they denied my renewal. I asked him why in the world he said that, and he said I told him so. I said that's not at all what I said. I had always been in the home, but people had been stealing my mail. He said it was too late to change anything because now the insurance company believes I don't live there (based solely on what HE had just falsely conveyed)! I asked him to call them back and explain the misunderstanding, but he said that wouldn't be feasible. Instead, he said, he could set me up with a "better" insurance. This "better" insurance was MUCH more expensive than my previous one! What a racket!!! Liars and cheats!!! Run away fast!!!!
