Fifth Third Asset Management Inc

On my 4th transfer. No one seems to be able or willing to help me. Trying to make an online payment. Doesn't work. Tried on pc and on phone. Called. 45 minutes later on my 5th representative (and having to identify myself each time), I just told her I would try again tomorrow. Also there's no way to set up automatic payments online - which just seems silly to me in this day and age. They are getting 2 stars instead of 1 because no one was overtly rude and only par for customer service incompetence.

I have never had a bank work so hard against me to take my money. Set up account, wouldn't let me online so an hour and a half with customer service trying to get them to understand I no longer have the cell phone they are trying to send a code to. No other way to verify me. Asked me to go to (ie. fly) to nearest branch. Found a work around (finally) another hour later with a new person who had to transfer me. Went to get automatic payments set up and wouldn't let me without calling (5th call at this point), and person couldn't do anything because they said my risk score was too high. God forbid Fifth Third gives anyone any power on their customer service line to provide you with a solution while on the call. Absolutely the worst bank I've ever worked with in my life, and I've lived overseas in tiny countries using tiny banking systems.

I would give this bank negative stars if I could. We utilize them for our mortgage, and I have never felt less supported by a bank in my life, and have yet to deal with a bank that is this disorganized and has such little regard toward the people who entrust them with their finances and/or property. Run as far away from this “bank” as possible - they’re useless.

Worst Bank on the planet. Save yourself the headache, stress and time that is involved with interacting with Fifth Third bank. Slow processing times, rude customer service and closing and reopening accounts at their discrétion. Run while you're ahead and marked safe. I wouldn't rate any star if I had the option. Absolutely disgusting!!!

I have my mortgage with them and they are the worse. I have had many different mortgage lenders and this one just takes the lead of my worst experience. You cannot even make a payment with you cc if you choose to. Hold to speak with anyone is ridiculous and the add to the mortgage if they predict your insurance will be higher without providing you an option to pay it off so you can keep your payments low. Dang the market for not looking good but once it does I will be changing.

Like some of these other reviews, I'm writing this while on hold. Be prepared to wait a minimum of 10 minutes only to be transferred to wait another 10 minutes. Sometimes it might be to the right department. If you ask them to mail something to you, they might mail it to your old address that you haven't been at for four years, then drop the call when you ask them to resend it. 4 hours on hold over two days with nothing to show for it. Will never use them for anything again. If they somehow absorb a loan I have, I'll refinance just to get away from them.

I have been attempting for more than two weeks to speak to a human on the phone regarding pay off.
Combined hold times and requests for call backs has exceeded 3 hours. The only time I have been able to "chat" with anyone is through the app and still cannot get answers to my pay off not being applied to my account.
If anyone ever asks me about Fifth Third bank and financing, I will tell them to find another company.
This is a horrible example of caring about your customers and the customer service absolutely stinks.

Thought I'd write a review while I sit on hold wiating for Fifth Third customer service. Fifth Third bought my mortgage and I am trying to set up my online payments but you cant do that without calling customer service. So far I've been on hold for 43 minutes, so needless to say I am not impressed with my first experience with Fifth Third Bank. I have the feeling that this is not going to be a good relationship.

53 bought our morgage. I have been calling three days to setup account and make a payment. Nobody answer a phone or hung up my call. Cannot even register account online. I wish

Customer service is terrible. Website does not function. I just wanted to set up autopay... sat on hold for an hour for them to tell me I need to wait three weeks to fill out a form that will come in the mail. That is what the internet is for.

Looks like if you are black, they will freeze your account, call the police and stop picking up your calls.Only way out is a federal suit.

I'd give zero if I could customer service is horrible, never had a bank make it so hard to give them money.
