Overall, East Village Grill exceeded my expectations in both the culinary department and customer service. If you're looking for a place with great food and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend giving East Village Grill a try. You won't be disappointed!

Food was delicious price is decent they prefer cash than cards convenient!!

Absolutely great quality Somali food. The service is very different than more american restaurants but the lady who runs it is really sweet. I've gotten free soup while I wait (it was raining and cold outside) and extra food in the takeout box. The price always ends up being a few dollars more than you expect, but the portions are so large and taste great, so you don't mind. Highly recommend.

This restaurant has the best Somali food in the twin cities area love the food and the customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone if you want mouthwatering food and great service. Keep up the good work East Village

I stopped in for a take-out order and it was amazing! Enough food to feed me through today's lunch & dinner plus tomorrow's lunch! The hostess was very friendly upon ordering and food delivery, she even asked if I had a little more time so she could have the chef add some gyro meat to my meal (which was not included in the description). Walk in with a friendly smile on your face and no prejudice in your heart and your experience will be fantastic I am certain. Also, get the green hot sauce...yum!

The only issue I see like I told them yesterday is the water is not cold and he explained to me it's cuz nobody likes a cold and says nobody orders it that way but I like it cold but people I guess don't like it cold and especially in the winter time I guess couldn't make sense but they still don't agree with that statement otherwise they're really amazing The owners wonderful the food is very delicious I've never had complaints about the food and there's customer services is always above and beyond

Great food, I never get bored with it especially since they have a huge variety to offer. I could never decide what to get since everything is so good. I always end up getting the platter, since I get to pick a few different meats. Their rice is the best in the city hands down. Their pasta is pretty good too 😋😋😋 I would highly recommend this place 👍🏽 Mashaallah

I had the best experience in eating here twice. The food was excellent doing both of my visit. And the staffs were very polite and courtesy. Thank you for a wonderful experience, because this was my very first time eating Somalia food.

Has anybody else eaten at this Great restaurant called the East Village Grill! The food in this place, oh my goodness, is so delicious! And wow, the portion sizes on my plate were enough to satisfy the hungriest of persons. I don't usually eat ethnic foods, but this place can change my mind.
I love the brick building and the walkway that leads to front door. The staff were kind and helpful but again the FOOD! I am telling you your tastebuds will be dancing!!! DELICIOUS!

I love this place! I've ordered their Gyro sandwich five times now and It has never disappointed. I haven't tried anything else on the menu because I love the Gyro so much. The staff are friendly and the wait isn't bad.

Great restaurant. Excellent service. I love there soup ask for it before the meal. especially on a cold day. The chicken kabob is really good here too. I love their spaghetti. overall a really good place to eat.

Hands down the best gyro platter I've ever had. It's really a lot of food, so leftovers are welcome. I've eaten there several times and I've never been disappointed.

If you want good quality Somalian/ Islamic food this is the place to go! Have eaten there sevetal times and have no complaints. Plus the amount of food is worth the price and trip there.

I've come to East Village Grill for a gyro with fries numerous times over the past two years. Generous portions, friendly service (though there's often a bit of a wait), and delicious food!
