I am grateful for my experience here. I was treated with respect, the place was clean and orderly (including the bathrooms, thank you). They were busy, but took the time to listen.We had to leave the car, but they got us done same day. Since we are from out-of-state, we really appreciated the get-it-done attitude they showed. Since rain was forecast, the wiper repair was obviously needed, and they didn’t try to sell something we didn’t need.

I brought my car in here last minute for a brake inspection. They got me in right away, and they told me and showed me what's wrong with the car. They even worked with me on the price of the repair. They didn't play any games with appointments, or try to upsell me. They did the work at reasonable price when compared to the dealers and most shops. And they completely finished the work in a about an hour. I would recommend this location any day.

Have taken all 3 of my vehicles here, a large variety of work has been performed. Always done professionally and communication is great. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for auto repair!

We had a bit of an issue with a tire repair and replacement, but the work was done quickly and professionally and when I called the manager Roger to work out the issue, he was fair and we resolved it without problem. I think you'll find similar quality services at most places, but knowing that the management cares about ensuring a good customer experience is why I would suggest the location to you.

One of our work vehicles broke down on 394, we had it towed randomly to this shop, the repair bills were quite expensive so I was obviously a little nervous. I had them email over a copy of the estimate to our local repair shop. Everything checked out. It also ended up being quite a bit cheaper than originally estimated. Richard was extremely great to work with and very trustworthy. Highly recommend this company

They were open on the 4th and able to get me in last minute without an issue. Repaired an oil leak quickly without it being extremely expensive. Overall they were kind and helpful too. Definetly recommend them.

One of my biggest fears is taking my car to a shop I'm unfamiliar with, let me assure you, these guys will take care of you. Long story short, I showed up to this place late in the day with no appointment and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and friendly Richard the Store Manager was. A few minutes of chatting with Rich about my Dodge Charger's issues and I was convinced he was going to take good care of my vehicle. Rich assured me he could get the vehicle repairs done promptly and though I was in no rush, he didn't disappoint. By the next morning Rich had already contacted me via phone call with the diagnosis of my vehicle (Stabalizer links, bar bushings and brake pads/rotors) along with the quoted cost for repair. After talking over a few of my concerns with Rich, he was able to answer all my questions and I agreed to proceed with the repairs for the links and bar bushings. I am extremely satisfied with the level of communication and willingness to work with me through the entire process, at no time did I feel pressured like previous shops have done. The repairs I requested were completed so quickly I couldn't believe it. Before I decided to pick my vehicle up, I changed my mind last minute about doing my brakes. I called Rich back to ask him if it was too late to have the pads and rotors replaced with less than two hours before close! They STILL finished everything and made sure I was able to pick the vehicle up the same day. I will definitely be bringing my business back to this location!

I am so thankful that I just happened to pull into their parking lot one day! My car was having issues when it got pretty cold. It would kind of chug and not want to accelerate very well from 0-30 mph and it had issues switching from 30 to 40. The check engine light would come on and go off. When they did their diagnostic it was a MAP sensor. They swapped it out for me and gave me a good deal. The car ran beautifully the next few days. However shortly after it began having the same issues. I happened to be right next to a Hyundai and they noticed some wiring issues that were damaged a long time ago. They could tell because they were corroded. Hyundai quoted me $1000-$5000 to fix these wires in the harness! I could not pay this so the man at Hyundai soldered one wire for me. I took it back to Car X to get a second opinion. Richard took a look at it and said the issue was fixed! There was no other corrosion, everything else was completely fine! He was adamant I did NOT need a whole new harness as Hyundai was saying. I have to admit after fixing the one wire and the new sensor my car is driving like it’s old self. Zippy! So Car X saved me from spending money on an unnecessary $1000-$5000 repair! I absolutely appreciate the honesty and not taking advantage. Richard and his team are very caring and friendly. Felt like I’ve known them a while. I will be back! Thank you!!!

I had a leaky tire and they told me to bring it in and it would be done in a few hours. Turns out they were very busy that day and the repair was delayed by an hour or so but still same day. They were very apologetic and did not charge me for the service because of the inconvenience. Very professional, very friendly, very helpful and great same-day service. I will definitely be using them in the future for auto repair needs. Thank you Car-X!

Had a leaky valve stem that they were able to get replaced for me for around 60 bucks. I will be trying them out again soon for a bit more work, as my normal mechanic of 15 years is almost a 2 hour drive from my new residence. Tough to find trustworthy mechanics these days, so as long as they stay on the level, they can have my business. I always edit my reviews for frequented businesses, so hopefully only.more positive things will follow.

Richard and the team were awesome to work with providing excellent customer service and prompt turnaround time. In less than 24 hours of my phone call to drop off my truck having battery and starting issues, the guys had it fully operational and back on the road. I have also taken this truck and a previous vehicle here for maintenance and repairs. This shop will always give you an honest, truthful assessment and has very reasonable prices. Another example of this is when I had a complete tire blow out on the highway driving to work in the morning. They helped put my worries at ease and had my car ready to roll with a new tire the same day. In my 2 plus years of vehicle service at this location, I have always left extremely satisfied. You can count on these guys to go the extra mile and provide best in class quality and work.

Best work and customer service I’ve had anywhere! They helped me amazingly quick the few times I’ve been here recently, and I highly recommend going here if you are in need of car service. After my first visit, I knew I was never going anywhere else.

Also, you can trust them to give you the best deal. I never have to worry about being conned or taken advantage of.

James the manager at the Golden Valley Car-X and his team are great! Always friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied and your vehicle is taken care of. I have an older Jeep and it needed some overdue routine maintenance a few months ago and they helped me out. More recently my brakes needed some serious attention and James, Roger and the crew were very helpful. They got my Jeep stopping fast and smooth in no time. Their prices are reasonable and fair and I've never felt like I'm being overcharged. Even if it's just something basic like an oil change or something more involved they'll make sure it's done right!

On top of being cordial, kind, and not to mention overall just being hilarious AND likable, James and the other guys who work at Car-X make getting your vehicle serviced seem like it's not just a hassle. My entire family goes here to get work done on their cars, and for great reason. On more than one occasion, these guys have been able to accommodate my emergency car maintenance without an appointment. While I obviously don't recommend going about it this way, it feels great to know that these guys truly care about going out of their way to assist their customers. I've been going here since I started driving, and will continue to come here as long as the same guys are there. I HIGHLY recommend anyone shopping around for an oil change or other maintenance stop in here to at least talk to these guys. Their knowledge alone is enough to make you want to come back, but their personalities will guarantee it.

My mom comes here all the time and the employees are always great and easy to work with! They are always friendly when walking in the door and helpful. I especially want to acknowledge James, the store manager, he helped us check out today and he was so nice and helpful! He checked us out in a timely manner and made sure we knew the exact price and break down of the cost. Very efficient, and will continue to come to this location! Good job James!

I stopped in tonight at almost close due to working late. James and Doug were absolutely amazing! They stayed after late to help fix my brakes and rotors for a reasonable price before the snow came. I am blown away by the service here and how genuinely caring the staff is! I am sending all of my friends here from now on to get 5 star service.

I have been going to this Car-X, for quit sometime know. I have and would recommend, this car-x to anyone that would need amazing services! Because, that is what you are going to get from, James, Roger and Doug! I will not let anyone else work on my 2010 Ford Escape. You will always get treated fairly and they all are very good at what they do! Most of all you will always be greeted with a smile and good conversation! I have been taking my truck to Car X Golden Valley for many years. James and the team (Roger, Chad, Morgan, and Doug) have been unbelievably helpful. I am grateful to have found a team of mechanics that stand by there quality workmanship. These guys are timely, trustworthy, and very reasonably priced. I have referred many friends and family here and they have had similar experiences. I am proud to say that Golden Valley Car X is my family shop and will be for years to come.
