Commers the Water Store

We bought an RO system from Commers about a year ago, and then a few weeks ago bought a water softener. They were great every step of the way, helpful and friendly and professional.

We bought a new softener from Minnetonka store and initially had some issues with the water not being soft. The problem turned out to be related to the pipes in the wall of our new house and were not related to the softener at all. The Technician, Tony, was able to figure out the problem! Kudos to him for diagnosing our issues and also following up! I would recommend this company and products.

I just had new water softener installed. I had to say the installer Mike was the hardest working guy I have ever seen. Wow. He was fast, creative, clean, and answered all my questions very well. Well done.

Commers Water was the best value by far. Not only did they have highest quality products but their service was second to none. No more water spots on dishes or in the shower, and our family doesn’t have to worry about drinking water with impurities anymore. I will recommend you to all family and friends.

I had high hopes for this supposedly premium water softener given the big marketing promises. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Despite the hefty price tag, the softener's effectiveness falls far short of expectations. What's even more frustrating is the frequent occurrence of false alarms, making it more of a hassle than an asset. We have done multiple resets of the system as instructed by the company, but still receive false” Low salt” warnings about every three days and wake up to a screeching alarm. We were charged $140 for a service call for them to come out and not fix the problem. Called again for the same issue and they are charging another $140 to come back out to try to resolve the issue they didn’t fix the first time. Bought a bulk water testing kit to check water hardness regularly, and our water is only softened about 60% of the time I tested. It's disappointing when a product fails to deliver on its touted benefits, especially when it comes with a premium price. In retrospect, I regret investing in this water softener. Do yourself a favor and save money and headache and go with a big box store. I will be sure to update this review if the company is able to make things right.

Edit: Jordan from Commers was out today and was very helpful. Replaced the circuit board and other components. Frustrating to pay for a second service call, but ultimately they did make it right.

Company responded to a letter I sent. They sent a technician and he found a set up error that was causing my problems. Now operating properly and efficiently. Despite the need for 3 visits and a waste of salt, this appears to be a very good softener.
