Hyatt Place Minneapolis/Downtown

We loved staying here! The room was big/spacious, clean, and quiet. The staff members were very welcoming and friendly.
The pool was nicely heated and clean, and there were 2 hot tubs, although 1 was out of order.
I did read other reviews commenting on the parking issue. I chose to pay the $30 unlimited in and out rather than the daily limit. I didn't see any other way around it. Parking all over the city is pricey. But, I did feel like it was somewhat safer than any other option. Overall, we had a nice stay and will be back!

We encountered a few hiccups in our travel plans, but we enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. They had great breakfast and the layout of the room was perfect for what we needed. We also had the privilege of working with Chad while we were here. We ran into a few snags and had a couple of additional needs, but Chad was able to find quick and effective solutions and assure me that everything was taken care of. We really appreciated the excellent customer service that he provided. Thank you!

We stayed here on Sunday since we attended a Timberwolves game at the Target Center. We had an amazing stay. Parking in the garage was a little tight but everything was wonderful. Breakfast was great with lots of options for the family. The rooms are pretty big and very clean. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!!

I have to give 5 stars all the way around, just for the value. Yes you pay 35.00 parking per day but the prices at worth it. Staff was very friendly upon arrival and even gave you a good morning on the way out.
As for being in an inconspicuous area. Hello?? it is downtown! 😆 once you pull in. Park, take elevators to H for hotel. You're now on the 7th or 8th floor. You enter through a secure automatic sliding glass door and you are now at the check in.

Check in was easy. We had a clean room but one of the two tvs had a line in it so they upgraded me to a suite. Great staff!
The suite had a view and personally I book these downtown hotels with the family just for that purpose. Breakfast was served from 630AM TO 9AM. PRETTY MUCH A FULL BUFFET THAT WAS STOCKED AS YOU GO. Didn't have any trouble getting full plates relatively quickly. The design of the interior is interesting and you feel secure being in your own area with separate elevators from the garages.

You'll be very happy with your stay regardless.

Rooms are nice and big (we stay in the 1 bedroom room for two of us, the 2 bedroom for 3-4 of us) and it doesn't feel cramped and everyone has plenty of space. The free breakfast is GREAT. Location is unbeatable.

Stayed here last night and it was great! We picked it based on location, saw a show at the armory and wanted to walk back to our hotel and fall into bed. Checked in at 3pm and the gentleman working the front desk was incredibly friendly. Staff in the morning at breakfast was also wonderful and they had the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. 100% recommend this Hyatt.

3 minutes walk from The Armory, 6 minute walk from Skyway Theater, and a stone throw away from the stadium. The rooms are significantly larger than most in the area. The staff are the best in the twin cities hands down

Easy in every way. Check in staff was so accommodating, even switching our room choice for us. Very clean and very friendly staff. We used the gym and pool and both were clean and nice. Parking was adequate and convenient. Beds were comfortable and shower was great.

Easy access from the train line. Rooms are always clean and smell nice. The facility is really big,some of the rooms feel far away. Nice pool and gym. Absolutely awesome breakfast!

In town for Vikings game and was extremely happy with our accommodations. Staff was excellent...would like to shout out Brian, outstanding service he made my day with his service and his attitude definitely an asset

The hotel is modern with an open concept. Rooms are big & spacious with some great views of the city. They do have single serve coffee maker (not Keurig) but no microwave. The bar & restaurant menu is very limited. Would recommend eating elsewhere. Parking is confusing because the directions at booking aren't very clear. But once you get it checked in, it's better. Immediately go to the underground patking, stay left, take the printed parking ramp ticket, ramp arm will lift and drive down. You will eventually see the hotel sign for the elevator. At check-in, show them your printed ramp ticket. They will connect it with your room for unlimited in & out parking.
The pool room is small and nice & has 2 hot tubs (limit 4ppl).
Location is at the heart of MN Vikings territory. US Bank Stadium is just blocks away.
Would stay again.

Superior design. We had 2 rooms, with one big common room. The common room was large. It includes a desk and an office chair, big sectional couch, and high top table with 4 chairs. The room also includes 2 TV's. Each bedroom was incredibly spacious, had its own bathroom, and included spectacular views! I cannot recommend it enough. Oh, and there is also continental breakfast 😊

Started a Minneapolis vacation weekend and got a room here, the staff were amazing and constantly made me and my partner feel welcomed and comfortable! They helped me with my room clean and the Shanna and Shanna duo were AMAZING! These two awesome ladies literally were being harassed by drunk guests and yet still had ways to make me smile every night! Thank you truly to all of the workers there for making my first Minneapolis trip the best time I’ve had in a long time!

Staff was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful, they make you feel very welcome and comfortable. And the breakfast in the morning is amazing and everything is fresh and they have so many options and they also accommodate food allergies because I am lactose but they had almond milk. The pool was amazing and I had it all to myself. I literally don't have one negative thing to say

We stayed here for a family vacation and absolutely loved the hotel. The staff was amazing and provided excellent service, food was yummy, parking onsite was easy. We will definitely stay here again! I highly recommend this hotel!

Yes it was perfect, it's convenient and close to public transportation, it has restaurants stores close in walking distance, it's located in the heart of downtown mpls. I did not want to leave this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone, very comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms, if I need a hotel again I will be back to this one.

This hotel is amazing. Great location, friendly staff, and clean facilities. Aenngel (ann gel) specifically is incredible. She's so upbeat and helpful. It's such a pleassure to greet her or find our where to go. Stay here. Also give Aenngel (sp?) a raise. People complain about the cost of parking but it's very reasonable for the area. People may also complain about how hard it is it to find. It's not. Use your GPS. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE HERE! 10/10 Would recommend.
