Eat Street Dental

Just moved to Minnesota and I was really scared to start all over with dental place, just when my insurance kicked in my tooth broke and a friend recommended eat dental. I called explain my situation and they got me in right away! I am so happy with the care they provided. They were able to work on my tooth the same day! They are amazing! From the moment you walk in till when you leave they are amazing. All of the staff are lovely, friendly and so kind. I am thankful I have found a dental place I feel comfortable with and would recommend them anytime! My coworker did an amazing job recommending me to them. They are truly the BEST! 🫶🏽

I'm very particular about who I allow to do my dental work, (esp. being that my father is a retired dentist). However, my wife referred me to Eat Street Dental and the entire staff that worked with me: Dr. Dommer, Pat, Kate, & Kelly all were genuinely nice, cordial and made sure that I had a very pleasant teeth cleaning experience.

I hadn't been to the dentist in a while because of some not so good previous experiences at other offices. I was very nervous going in for my consultation, but the entire staff was extremely comforting and they communicated very clearly which make me feel much more at ease. I appreciate the great patient care and the friendly staff and would highly recommend to anyone but especially someone who gets nervous about the dentist!

I love the staff here and the fact that Dr. Huey hums while working on my teeth makes me feel so safe and secure. It gives a sense of confidence and that he enjoys his job!! Great work, awesome team!!!

Never had a better clean and checked things that no other dentist has before. And once I had a freak out about something with my teeth and I called them and spoke directly to my Dentist and he was super helpful calming me down and helping me understand what was happening and finding solutions and answering all my question. 10/10 experience and good vibes in the office. Nice people, queer friendly, and played Boss Ross during my cleaning. I could've fallen asleep.

I avoided the dentist for five years or so due to insurance and a persistent fear from bad experiences in the past. However, my fiancé stumbled across Eat Street Dental and after hearing his raving reviews about their compassion and kindness I finally decided to go in and I am SO glad I did. The staff at Eat Street are in a class of their own. They have completely changed my perspective on the dentist--which felt like an impossible feat before stepping foot in their office. I have had to go in 3-4 times this year, largely to catch up on dental work I delayed, and each time they explain how things are going to go in a way that makes me comfortable, are attentive to my needs and never question taking extra steps to make me feel more comfortable. While getting your teeth worked on is never quite enjoyable, the company of the staff is a joy and I feel so much more supported in addressing my dental concerns in the future. A special shoutout to Dr. Dommer and Kate who made me so comfortable from the get-go (as well as the other amazing team members whose names are escaping me!), and of course, their patient care coordinator, Claudia, who has an incredible talent for working with people, explaining billing and ensuring everything is in line with insurance so that you know what to expect. That is a rarity in health care!

I couldn't wait any longer to write this review. The staff here is a godsend. I've never experienced this level of care and empathy from a medical clinic anywhere, ever. I have genetic teeth issues that have been lifelong, and root canals and fillings are very familiar to me. The staff here has been checking in with me for almost two months now, making sure I'm ok and on the road to a healthy smile. Special thank you to Dr. Dommer, Kate, and Claudia for your professionalism, great care, and most of all KINDNESS. They made sure my pain levels were under control while we got to the bottom of the issues that needed addressing. I will be coming here as long as I'm in Minneapolis, and will refer everyone i know. Can't rave enough about this practice and its entire staff, they treat you with respect and care about your wellbeing. Thank you, Eat Street Dental!

The staff here are exceptional! Went in for my first appointment and they worked with me in every way to ensure too notch care.

Came in for a cleaning and some fillings this summer, got me in just a few days later, there was no need to wait weeks or months for an appointment like many other places, and it was all so reasonably priced. Even on my first visit they really treat you like friends and family.

What was really amazing though was just a few days ago I started getting pain at one of fillings possibly due to some shift in how my molars were hitting, they were able to get me in the very next day and fixed it free of charge!

Sad I'll be moving out of the twin cities soon. Will be difficult to find a dentist like this elsewhere; if you're reading reviews and shopping for dentists, well this is your answer!

What an absolutely wonderful office! I have horrible dental anxiety, and the staff here went above and beyond to ease my fears and make me feel comfortable. Claudia got me in quickly and made a new patient check-in fast and easy. Pat was my hygienist and was knowledgeable and so comforting. Dr. Dommer came in for my consult and treatment plan and was so friendly and has such a wonderful bedside manner. They were open and honest about my treatment plan and made me feel much better. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Could not recommend Eat Street Dental more. Wish I could give it 6 stars. My husband and I each came into Eat Street afraid of the dentist after terrible childhood experiences. We each had a fair amount of work to do on our teeth and were equally anxious about finally doing something about it. The doctors and hygienists at Eat Street always made us feel comfortable, heard, and safe. We never once felt judged by anyone at this practice. They listened to our concerns and fears and have gone above and beyond to make us trust the dentist again. Furthermore they are insurance genius's. I had two dental plans when I began at Eat Street and Claudia always knew what to do. She helped my husband and I so much with our varying insurances over the years I owe her so much! Thank you Eat Street Dental for changing my perspective. I no longer fear going to the dentist, in fact I look forward to it! Special thanks to Pat who always plays the best tunes.

My daughter, a 7yr old was very scared to get her teeth examined. She had been having unexplained pain that kept her up at night. She was greeted with warm smiles, a respectful non judgmental staff, and a lil humor from her dentist that set her at ease. The amazing staff & I were so proud of her. I highly recommend Eat Street Dental, they earned a customer for life and I couldn't wait to tell my family & friends all about them! The BEST dental clinic that I have been to in over 15yrs, and they have had my service for 10 of them, and will continue to have it. If a payment plan is needed, they work with you! A smile welcomes me each and every time I come in the door. Kind and gentle hygienist handle me with care. The husband and wife team are the perfect cocktail professional dentistry has to offer. I highly recommend everyone, bilingual and non to give this dental office a try, you will surely not be disappointed.

One of the best dental office I've ever been to. They are so knowledgable and caring. They accomendate to my needs and is so patient with me. I'm sure all the questions I ask is a bit much, but they know and take the time to answer every one of my questions. I hated going to the dental office, but they are one of the best and most loving people. Thank you so much for taking care of my husband and I. The best part is this is a family own business. I got my teeth cleaned by Tucker. He was very gentle and made me feel comfortable throughout the cleaning. He was also pretty funny. Dr Dommer did my exam and was very thorough in explaining treatment that I needed. The whole feel of the office is warm and feels like a family. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this clinic to my family and friends!

This is the most personable dental office I've ever been to. I started going to them when I was new to the city and they always remembered me by name and made me feel so welcome and like a regular customer. Even the receptionist remembered who I was when I called and asked how I was doing since my last appointment. Really wonderful office with nice women. A great place to go since usually dental offices suck! Would recommend always.

I have been going to East Street Dental since 2002 when it was called Nicollet Dental and the staff there have always been so polite and patient. They are knowledgeable, experienced and most of all courteous. When Saturday appointments was discontinued I thought that I would go to another dental office that offered Saturday appointments but when you have people that care about you and your well being it's almost like family. I have known Claudia the longest and it seems like she is always happy and smiling that really helps you feel good about coming back to East Street Dental. The Dentists are very good at what they do and at each visit they make sure that they are asking if there is anything you don't understand or if there is another matter that you need to be seen for. Tucker is one of the new kids on the block but he is great as well. I just want to say that your Team is GREAT! I did not mention everyone individually but they ALL are special.

The BEST dental experience I've ever had. Very personalized service. They really take their time to make sure you're aware of everything that's going on. Here are some things that really impressed me: they made sure to send me any paperwork via email so I didn't have to come in 10-15 minutes early (nice to have this option), they offered to take my coat and hang it up, they handed it back to me, asked if I'd like water, coffee or use facilities before appointment, took the time to explain everything they were doing and why, handed me my coat back, gave me the option of scheduling follow up now or getting reminder, etc. I mentioned I was always comfortable at the dentist office and they asked and suggested how they can help make the experience better. Very genuine, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I've been an Eat Street Dental patient for about 5 yrs and they are hands down the best dental clinic I've ever been to. From the front desk to the hygienists to the doctors, they are all super friendly, kind, personable, and knowledgeable. You couldn't ask for a more welcoming experience. The doctors, Dr Dommer and Dr Huey, are both very patient and very skilled at their profession. They take the extra time to make sure everything is done properly and to satisfaction. I very highly recommend Eat Street Dental.

Just got my teeth cleaned at ESD. They did a great job... Sterling the Dental Asst. was great (a very thorough cleaning)! Dr. Dommer was so nice as well! I am looking forward to going back and seeing them. Ohhhh... Claudia - the admin - provided great help too!
