SK Coffee: Coffee Bar & Roastery

This coffee shop is an absolute delight! Their matcha latte is a soothing blend of earthy matcha and oat milk, while the croissants are flaky and buttery. The cozy place with a lot of sitting and welcoming staff create the perfect setting to relax. It's a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a matcha coffee and pastry experience.

Everytime I come here the coffee is different, in the best way possible as it’s always delicious. Sometimes it’s smooth and light, sometimes more bitter, and this last time it’s acidic and fruity. It was cool seeing one of the owners working the bar and pulling espresso shots while making conversation. I look forward to what I’ll try next!

As for the space, there is plenty with a variety of different seating arrangements. Note that there is only oat or dairy milk available.

Fun coffee shop in a warehouse in St Paul. I wasn’t expecting it to be in the lobby of the warehouse so it didn’t have the coziest feel but there were plants everywhere and it was calm and there were enough tables and chairs to work at for everyone! And a wall of plug ins and free wifi.

The miel (honey latte) was so good and smooth and they didn’t charge extra for oat milk. They also had pastry options and sell bags of coffee.

It’s right across from Lake Monster Brewing company so you can head over there for a drink after! And there was a Thai food truck outside when I was there on a Tuesday evening.

It's a hidden gem in a gorgeous warehouse building! I had no idea the building was renovated because there's no signs on the exit from 94, but there's a big parking lot off the street shared by Lake Monster brewing. Huge windows with lots of light and plants everywhere. It's just in the lobby to the building so it's very open with two big tables and a counter with plug ins to work at. Most spots were filled from 10am-noon. Even with no walls, it's very quiet and peaceful. The wifi signal was strong and great for working there.

The miel was incredible and oat milk was no upcharge. They had a limited coffee menu with a spiced latte as the only syrup option that I saw. The barista was super nice. There was a pastry case with a few options that looked amazing. It's very pricey for a coffee but it's a cool shop to try!

SK Coffee is a hidden gem. It's been on our list to try for awhile now and we finally visited to find that it was even better than we expected. When it comes to coffee, I'm pretty straightforward. Give me a bold dark roast with a splash of almond milk and I'm a happy camper. I thought their coffee was excellent, but the ambiance of the space and the building really makes SK Coffee a standout in my book. SK Coffee is located in the Vandalia Tower in Saint Paul and the main floor is open, airy and spacious. Not to mention all of the beautiful, tropical plants and greenery surrounding the coffee bar! If you're not familiar, Vandalia Tower is a former King Koil mattress factory and the industrial vibe is still strong throughout the building, now with a mix of modern artwork and installations. The founder/head roaster of SK, Sam, was behind the bar that day and he was very knowledgable and fun to talk with. Highly recommended and while you're in the area you can visit Lake Monster Brewing and North Made Co after enjoying your SK coffee!

Love their coffee & matcha! Have been to this location many times & the staff is always so friendly. Unfortunately that is a rare occurrence at some of the twin cities coffee shops 🤪 Had a good time chatting with the employee working! Thank you SK!

i used to come here when it was another coffeeshop but SK is exceptional! the interior is so gorgeous and inclusive, the teas and coffee are amazing and the baristas are so kind!! i love it here

Wow! Lots of ways to explore coffee...I enjoyed my pour-over along with the staff's readiness to share their knowledge. Pastry was a great accompaniment. Ambience is good for being in a big warehouse kind of space. I can tell they've done a lot of thought into creating a micro ambience in their portion of the huge room.

An awesome cafe with some amazing coffee! The space is really cool, the staff are friendly, and the coffee tastes great. They'll even give you a tour of where they roast their coffee if you email in advance - Sam gives a thorough and entertaining explanation of the process. If you're looking for a neat coffee shop to visit, this is the place.

SK has become my new favorite coffee shop in Saint Paul (amongst tough competition!). The coffee is amazing -- so much so that I buy at least one bag every time I visit, often two to gift to a friend or family member. The staff are some of the most friendly and personable I've ever encountered, and the founders Sam and Nate are so deeply dedicated to their craft. And the atmosphere is great -- awesome space to get some work done or meet a friend or colleague.

This place is as amazing as all the gorgeous real plants everywhere! (I don't even like coffee!) The owner was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful & patient. The ambiance is super cool and I had a lovely time there with my friend on a lazy Sunday morning.

SK Coffee is a great coffee shop! They have great coffee from some really interesting farms all over the world. They really know how to brew a great quality specialty coffee cup, plus they have an amazing and quiet place. Additionally they are super friendly and they’ll love to talk to you about coffee or anything else. Must check it out!

Love this place. This coffeeshop always has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are very knowledgeable and excited about their craft, which shows in the product. We used to have our beans delivered from Portland, but have stopped for a while since SK Coffee appeared. Now we're getting our beans almost exclusively from here! Bear in mind that if you are a latte lover like me, they do lattes a bit differently in how they mix the milk. Also, they have donuts and some other baked goods available.

SK keeps making some of the most interesting and delicious coffee roasts and blends I can find in the Twin Cities. Good service and recommendations in a hip atmosphere. The pourover is the best for flavor. The team directly works with partner farms in Latin America for sustainable livelihoods and one-of-a-kind flavors.
The pastry case is excellent, mostly featuring scones, biscuits, danishes sweet and savory from Minneapolis's Laune Bread or Vikings and Goddesses. If you have 20 min, you might get a fresh empanada.

Delicious coffee! Loved the plants and how bright the space is. Great spot to visit on a winter day.

The people here are not simple baristas; they are coffee sommeliers. The terrior of the sourced coffees they use, the preparation of each brewed cup... seriously, they've taken the attention to detail typically reserved for a winery and adapted it to their approach to coffee service.

Already my new favorite St. Paul coffee shop, I can't wait to see what they do next once their expansion is complete. Go here and try their offerings before everyone else discovers this gem and it becomes impossible to get a cup of their amazing brew.

SK coffee has a very friendly staff with solid coffee. It has a modern American cafe atmosphere. The shop has places for working and studying. To be honest, I'm surprised it isn't a little more busy- it might just be the time of day. Right now it very much has a slow paced, Saturday afternoon vibe.

Exquisite specialty grade coffees sourced and prepared by a talented roaster! Every cup we've had, from both locations, has been excellent!! They also have a nice variety of pastries, and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. If you're looking for a spot to relax and enjoy an excellent cup of coffee, or just pick up some beans for home and a cup of goodness to go, this is it! Q-grader approved😁!!!

Went for the first time this weekend and it was a great place to meet a friend. Enough bustle and noise that it didn't feel like we were the only people talking in a quiet library. Lots of seating. Bright sunlight through the windows. REALLY good pastries. And nice baristas! I've spent a lot of time at Lake Monster but hadn't checked out SK Coffee yet. A great addition to a little St. Paul corner that feels like a hidden secret.

This is such a cute place! Lots of seating available. Their nitro cold brew is fantastic.
