Moxy Minneapolis Downtown

Had an excellent experience staying here: 1) Excellent customer service. I had a super early arrival and was so grateful that they said my room is ready and they could already check me into my room (8:30am!); wow, what a gift! 2) Love the clean and simple rooms without all the drapery and bedskirts and all those crazy bedbug magnets. The simple room gave me so much more confidence in the cleanliness. 3) Loved the non-polyester sheets. Most hotels, even upscale hotels, utilize polyester sheets which can cause cold-sweats at night. 4)Interesting check-in - at the bar! :D 5) Very helpful team and great location, walking distance from the light rail and Viking's stadium.

The only reason I gave the room four out of five stars is because I missed having a desk where I can work quietly. I realize there is space in the lobby to do so, but I don't work well in noisy areas and if you have to participate in a video conference call or are presenting on a webinar, the setting is not available in the room to do so. Maybe consider having a fold-out table from the wall with a chair? There is a table hanging from the wall, but it does not work well as a desk.

Beautifully designed hotel in the heart of the Mill district in Minneapolis. I loved loved loved everything about this hotel. There are some amenities that they may think about incorporating in the future like a mini fridge and maybe more storage for clothes but otherwise one of the best deals in the city! When you check in you're greeted at the bar and the vibe you get from the decor is very industrial snow lodge. My husband and I had been traveling for 5 hours straight without stopping so it was nice to get a small cocktail before winding down in our room. When we got to our room it was the loft style with the king bed. Everything was designed to make the most of the small space such as hooks on the wall for bags and clothes and a barn door for the bathroom. Sheets were clean, enough towels for everyone, shampoo and conditioner in the shower in case you forgot some and a hairdryer too. My son loved the bed so much because the loft on top made it feel cozy. Everyone on the property was very friendly and helpful during our stay. I also loved the walkability of the neighborhood with a trader Joe's across the street and many coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Definitely don't pass up the chance to stay at this hotel and see it for yourself.

Great location. Stayed for a Vikings game. Was able to walk to and from US Bank Stadium easily. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Trader Joe’s across the street if you’re in need of room snacks. Plenty to see and do within walking distance which is a bonus for one parking charge. They give you a QR code on card to let you in and out of parking garage as necessary for one charge. Only negative was no fridge in room.

New Years Eve at the Moxy was great! Viking Packer game and then a private New Year's Eve party for people staying at the hotel! Very nice! Just need more coffee the next morning!

Nice clean modern room with ski lodge vibe. Very simple basic room set up. I’ve been to other Moxy hotels and this is the most simplistic one I’ve been in. No closet or drawers of some sort. They had pegs on the front wall with hangers (not normal ones but with loops) to hook your clothes to hang. Only problem is that they’re not very tall. I don’t mind having my stuff out in the open, but my dresses touched the ground. One tiny table to share and one bag stand that folds out. I wouldn’t stay here for more than a night or two. But amenities are very clean. Bed was comfy.

This is a very nice hotel, the staff was helpful and the hotel bar is nice and has games. The rooms were very dark, which made sleeping easy, and it’s easy to hook up your devices to the tvs for streaming or playing games.

Just stayed after the Pink concert, great medium sized hotel. Location is perfect. Two blocks off light rail sevice or US Bank events, Guthrie and Stone Arch/Mills area about two blocks the other way.
Easy, plentiful Uber/Lyft. Public share bikes and scooters everywhere.
Grocery right across the street, on site and street as well as ramp parking everywhere.
Key card access/security to everything.
Rooms were very clean if a bit small, but beautifully designed in a modern industrial loft sort of way.
Great little bar, some snacks and take out beverages available in a little convenience area but no on site restaurant. Lots of other choices within a few blocks, especially good ethnic choices abound locally.

Modern hotel in the heart of Minneapolis. Comfortable beds and minimalist design with a fun filled lobby. Located directly across the street from the Vikings’ stadium and right on the edge of the Mill District. Parking is $35 in an attached garage, but is good until 2pm on the day of check out. Each room also comes with a free drink at the bar for each guest.

Julius with reception was super helpful and chill dude that helped me when I had a reservation issue!

Loved the attached garage parking and the rooms were large and spacey. The only negative was the coffee.

Was only in town for a day, Moxy was a good choice. Location pretty decent for for and convenience, though the neighborhood can get rough at night. Lyft, Uber, Doordash, instead of walking around. Right down the street from the stadium which is great.
Inisde, great feel, not a lot of food options inside though. Room was great. Very comfortable and shower was awesome pressure.
Roxy is a great chill hotel, but doesn't have the environment or room needs to work productively. No desk, low light, etc. But a great getaway spot and vibe.

Overall our stay was great! Upon checking in, the receptionist was very personable. Lobby/ bar is a cool hangout spot. Rooms were VERY clean and looked nice and modern.

The only qualms I have with Moxy is:

-$35 overnight parking (parking garage next door is $9/24 hours)

-SQUARE toilets… funky and uncomfortable

-The shower is fixed open so water gets everywhere in the bathroom.

Stayed for 9 days on a business trip. Absolutely a top notch experience! The hotel is modern with fun signage and interior aesthetics. Rooms are super quiet! Great location downtown across from Trader Joe’s and Starbucks. Perfect…and will be back!

Ratings based on the star of the hotel and expectations. Service was friendly and professional. Property is new, fresh and inviting. Great for business or leisure travel. Rooms are simple but comfortable.

Staff was FANTASTIC and very accommodating. We booked a room due to the snow and when we arrived, their check-in system went down. They gave us drink tokens while we waited. Come to find out, we booked at Moxy Uptown.. luckily, the gentlemen was quick to offer to transfer our reservation from Uptown to Downtown with no fees!! He made it hassle-free for us and upon giving us our room key, he gave us 2 more drink tokens! The bar staff was friendly and fun!

We had a room here the next night under a wedding party. Doubtfully, we asked if when we checked out at 11am we could check into our room for the next night — without hesitation, the desk lady said absolutely!

Loved it! The check in counter was unique.. The staff were super friendly, the hotel location is perfect if you want to explore downtown! The amenities were so modern and comfortable. Kudos to the designers. Even their do not disturb tag was a bomb!

The Moxy is INCREDIBLE! We stayed here for a long weekend and had a fantastic experience. The rooms are minimalist but brilliantly designed. We kept wondering who designed them- they make so much sense! No space is wasted. The bar was great, drinks tasty and strong, and bartenders/hotel staff kind and attentive. Very dog friendly - they brought us a dog bowl for our little pooch whenever we were at the bar. Also it’s in a great location, super close to the Stone Arch Bridge. I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have a full 5 stars. We will absolutely be back.

Great Hotel to stay at before a Vikings game. They host a Vikings pregame kickoff party before the game. Nice staff, good food, fresh rooms. Closest to US Bank Stadium right on Chicago Avenue!

Such a fun and inviting hotel.

First, a spacious and social lobby with a bar, games, and hangout spaces for many! Second, the room we stayed in was perfect for three adults… a king bed with a lofted twin (seems silly, but it was totally awesome).
