Came for brunch at 1pm on a Saturday and there was a lot of available seating. We got the gem lettuce salad, American Burger, and French toast and all 3 were very good. The salad has lots of fresh herbs, and the dressing was very flavorful. The burger was the perfect indulgent meal with tons of oozy cheese, fresh pickles and a good crust on the outside of the patties (like a smash burger). The French toast was made using in house bread, and had a beautiful custardy inside and crunchy outside. I made sure to cover every bite with the blueberry sauce. It wasn't too sweet, but it still felt decadent. The restaurant has a chic industrial feel with lots of natural lights and a few plants. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

A Lowertown restaurant with brunch and dinner service beginning at 2:00pm with bar and table seating. Staff were all excellent and the menu is small but very well cooked and features a nice selection of cocktails with a few local beers and house non-alcoholic drinks. Bologne sandwich was filling with house cured bologna that cuts back on a some of the saltiness I expected. Pork belly from the dinner menu is served with a salsa macha that I found a bit tangy and mild in heat for my tastes but it was still quite tasty, if a bit small. The bone marrow spread over toasted brioche from the dinner menu was my favorite with a parsley vinaigrette garnish balancing the richness of the marrow and Welsh rarebit.

Had a great Sunday brunch looking out over the best farmer’s market around. The Saint Dinette has a great sun filled location and the food is amazing. Great cocktails but opted for a beer. Going back for lunch/dinner for sure.

Great location with huge vintage cafe-style windows overlooking the St. Paul Farmer's Market. If you make a reservation, ask for a table by the windows. My in-laws took me here for a birthday dinner, and it was really perfect. The menu is French-inspired, but varied enough to have something for everyone. This would be a great place to go after shopping at the Farmer's Market, or the Union Depot's Christmas Market. Just check the hours first to make sure they will be open.

Such a nice spot with great food and great atmosphere. Exactly what I look for in an eatery. Something as simple as a cheeseburger with a beer and a bump can blow you away here with the care that goes into it. The great prices for what you are receiving paired with the friendliness of everyone and the beautiful area, this is a St. Paul can’t miss.

Gem of a restaurant in downtown Saint Paul, absolutely loved it. I got a cocktail and the mussels, and my friend got the risotto. Everything was delicious. The risotto was reminiscent of a comforting Vietnamese chaó with the soft, tender rice, the mint leaves and scallions on top. The coconut makes it creamy yet vegan.

We went to Saint Dinette for brunch on Sunday. Since it's located in downtown St. Paul, it was a little tricky finding a parking space when the Farmer's Market nearby was open. We made reservations in advance since they tend to be busy. We tried the French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Beignets and Pork Belly. The Eggs Benedict was the standout, I found the French Toast a little bit too sweet for my taste, but still good. The burgers and fries looked amazing so I'll definitely return to try other items on their menu. Our server Jennifer was excellent. The bill for 3 people with orange juice and cappuccinos was $74. Highly recommend for brunch or dinner in St. Paul!

Reviewing this place kind of late, but I still think about returning to St. Paul quite often just so I can eat here again. We stopped in for lunch one Saturday last summer and it has been one of the most memorable restaurants during my 6 months living in the Twin Cities. The service was impeccable, cocktails tasted beautiful and inventive, while the food was fresh and full of flavor. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing while the set-up gives everyone appropriate space and privacy while not putting up walls. I enjoyed this meal very much and cannot wait until my job takes me there again!

Another lovely evening at Saint Dinette. Swedish meatball meat loaf, mussels, and a poached pear. Great service at the bar from D.

Yes I liked it, we stopped by at about 3 on a Saturday. I had the bologna sandwich (I think it's something that they are known for) the waiter said it would be the best bologna sandwich I ever had. It was! Stop by, nice atmosphere.

My husband and I ended up here for breakfast on a whim, and we were blown away. Our waitress was very friendly and informative, and the food was spectacular. We split an omelet, and the special that day, which was a brunch style flatbread. The coffee was also delicious. We definitely plan on coming back the next time we're in the neighborhood.

We love the creativity and technique put into making the different dishes. The end result is inspiration to come back soon to enjoy what they create.

My husband ordered the hamburger, the best in town! Flavorful, moist and with nice crunch outside. It’s unbelievable. But incredible as well is the marvelous Walleye with capers and belle meunière sauce. Make sure to order their irresistible bread and use it to soak up all that yumminess of the sauce.

On a previous visit we ordered the fried chicken and that was very good too.

When available, order the grilled cake for sure. It’s delightful temptation for sure!

Maureen took very good care of us. Thanks!

One of our absolute favorite dinner spots to hit - and we’re burb rats. I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like, and I love how they always have a fresh spin on the staples - except of course the burger which is as bare bones as they come - bun, patties and cheese. Normally I’m a ketchup and mayo burger gal, but adding any condiments to this burger is a sacrilege. Eat it exactly how it’s served, and get a side of their fries to accompany it. Love that there’s several small plates so we can try many things and split it. The beef tartare nachos are amazing, and I may sound crazy when I tell you to finish your meal with the flapjacks, but just trust me. They’re the best restaurant dessert I’ve ever had. Cheers!

Run don’t walk to Saint Dinette. From the food to the staff to the ambience you’ll be hard pressed to find a better spot. The cocktail menu is always fantastic and the food menu changes often enough that you can get new experiences each time you visit. Also don’t sleep on the brunch

The vibe is great accented with white chairs and large black lamp shades. Off of their brunch menu, we have tried beignets, coffee, cheeseburger, and French fries, all of which were great. The pricing may be on a higher side, but I think their food is executed very well plus the vibe I mentioned earlier. Our server was very friendly and attentive which is always an important part of dining experience. Recommend.

(2021) Grabbed a few drinks and burger with an old friend. Our server was phenomenal, the cheese burger was outstanding, and I will be returning for the cold press coffee drink. Seriously, they need to sell it by the crowler! Thank you for an amazing evening & a wonderful dining experience 🖤
2023: Another trip to Saint Dinette and I couldn’t not get another burger and the cold press coffee drink. Still just as amazing as I remember. Yum!

First visit to this stylish restaurant near the St. Paul Saints stadium. Bartender super cool and welcoming. I recommend the beer and a bump. The cheeseburger and fries, a simple idea, but executed well. I appreciated the limited menu. My only suggestion is give the ketchup a little kick.

This place is the gift that keeps on giving. The menu changes always bring great new dishes to try while the staples remain. You won’t eat a bigger cheeseburger anywhere else. Their drinks are perfectly crafted. The staff is always gracious and the owners are great people. Highly recommend this spot for dinner or brunch. Don’t leave without ordering flapjacks for dessert
