I spent 6 nights at this hotel and was particularly impressed by its stunning lobby floor. The lobby offers numerous comfortable seating areas, perfect for both work and relaxation. The excellent coffee shop adds to the experience, providing delicious food options. Moreover, the lobby hosts a high-standard restaurant and bar.

The rooms are not only spacious and cozy but also thoughtfully equipped with an abundance of electrical plugs for convenience. The hotel staff in the lobby is exceptionally friendly and always willing to assist.

However, a couple of minor issues need attention. Firstly, the room lighting is insufficient. Secondly, there's a recurring problem with the "please rest" sign on the door that always falls. Despite these small drawbacks, my overall experience rates this hotel as a solid 5-star stay. I highly recommend it.

We very much enjoyed our staycation at the Emery Hotel. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable and cozy. Some of the rooms have spectacular views, depending on either the type of room and/or how much you pay. But the real showstopper at the Emery is the lobby area, which is filled with marble floors and walls, enormous pillars/columns, stunning architectural details, remnants of the previous bank (including multiple vault doors), touches of art deco, gorgeous plants and an abundance of seating.

Specifically, the lobby hosts a Spyhouse Coffee, which is surrounded by a variety of seating (tables, couches, chairs, etc.), plant-life and a fireplace. By the way, the plants are 100% real and I was told they are kept alive by the special lighting throughout the lobby area.

There’s also an Italian restaurant in the lobby called Giulia and the food is delicious, as well as the presentation. More on that in my separate review of Giulia, but it is part of the hotel lobby scene and worth mentioning here.

The gym within the hotel was clean and the equipment sufficient for a hotel of this class. We didn’t interact with the staff much, but when we did they were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be visiting the Emery again soon!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Emery Autograph Collection in Minneapolis during a business trip, and I must say it was a unique and memorable experience. First and foremost, the hotel's historic building lent an air of timeless elegance to my stay.

Upon entering the lobby, I was immediately greeted by a unique and captivating scent that seemed to permeate the air. It's a delightful touch that sets Emery apart from other hotels in town, creating a truly immersive atmosphere.

One of the standout features of the Emery is Spyglass Coffee, conveniently embedded right in the lobby. As a businessman constantly on the move, having a quality coffee shop just steps away from my room was a game-changer. It allowed me to grab a quick caffeine fix before heading out for meetings.

Now, let's talk about the elevators. They did take a bit longer than I expected, but considering the hotel isn't very tall, it wasn't a major inconvenience. I used the extra wait time to appreciate the historic charm of the building, and it was worth it.

My room at Emery was nothing short of impressive. It was spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with modern amenities that catered perfectly to my needs. After a long day of meetings, sinking into the comfortable bed and enjoying the city view from my window was a much-needed respite.

In conclusion, the Emery Autograph Collection in Minneapolis exceeded my expectations. From the unique lobby scent to the historic setting, the convenience of Spyglass Coffee, and the excellent room amenities, it provided a comfortable and memorable stay for a busy businessman like myself. I would certainly choose to stay here again on my next trip to Minneapolis.

The hotel is very beautiful with marble columns and amazing marble ceilings in the lobby, nice lobby bar with really a great old fashioned. I usually don't leave hotel reviews, but the service surprised me. I travel for work and sometimes lose something. They found one of my personal items and brought it to my room as opposed to throwing it in lost and found, or simply having it disappear forever as I have usually experienced.

Directly in between Target Field and US Bank stadium. 10 to 15 minute walk to either one. Short walk to the arena too. Just a few blocks from the North Loop area. Great location. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was good.

Spent three nights at the Emery to catch the Vikings season opener. The Emery is so close to the light rail station, US Bank Stadium, restaurants and the Mississippi River walk. The staff were friendly and the room was nice. I especially like how responsive, yet silent, the AC was and loved the huge shower. Thank you for the excellent stay.

I want to return to this hotel to stay! I went to the Grinches Lair pop up bar . It was so fun and festive. This hotel has a beautiful atrium to sit and relax or do work.

I wish I could give service 20 STARS!!! The staff at the Emery (Connor-Food and Bev, Lizz-reception, and Andrew - behind the bar) are all so beyond friendly and amazing!!! The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly accommodated with amazing decor and amenities, but it's the PEOPLE that make all the difference! I have been coming to this hotel for years and loved it, but this visit has been over the top with all the friendly staff!!!!!! I wish I could give higher than 5 stars

Went for drinks. Trendy lobby bar, good drinks, overpriced, but you know that going in. Also went to the Grinch’s Lair in the basemen which was a very medium experience.

Military discount made this our best option. Glad it did!! Great location. Walked the skyway on Friday. Parking across the street was easy, even with in/out options it was $35/night. Easy and safe.

We had an incredible stay at the Emery this weekend. As we approached the hotel, it had begun to drizzle and the streets of downtown seemed to be abandoned. (We later realized this was because of the extensive skyway system connecting everything in downtown — no one needs to step outside!). We pulled into the valet circle and as we stepped into the entry of the hotel, we saw the jaw-dropping lobby of the hotel for the first time. Incorporating the outdoors to the indoors, the hotel’s lobby, filled with tall marble columns from the 1906 constructed original bank that occupied the space. The rich jewel tones in velvet and woods and marble are posh and cozy. The space was vibrant with small groups enjoying a cocktail or coffee. These same rich finishes continued in the other public spaces and our beautiful suite. The Italian restaurants hand made pastas were so delicious, we came back for brunch and loved the breakfast pizza, lobster Benedette and an array of pastries. Every service encounter was attentive and lovely. Our new favorite hotel and restaurant.

Also huge bonus: the gym is three times the size of most hotel gyms with equipment of every type and sparkling clean. The only change I'd make would be flat-bottomed water cups for guests that don't have their own water bottle along with them.

This is a fantastic hotel in an incredible and storied building with great furnishings and restaurants! Giulia is fantastic and SpyHouse is as well! The staff are always incredible friendly and helpful, and this is my main hotel I use for business travel up to MSP. It’s always super clean and the rooms are relatively small but have incredible use of space. The only drawback is the TV system doesn’t have capability for Netflix / Hulu or anything like that similar to other Marriott hotels, so I hope they improve that. Otherwise, fantastic hotel and I totally recommend!

The lobby and first floor are amazing with the marble columns, floors, and even ceilings. Our room was on the small side but tasteful. Our only problem was with a too noisy hvac system (coming on and off). We turned it off completely

The studio rooms are large, comfortable, and not your standard box room (do not stay here if you cannot handle stuff not on a 90° angle).

Outside of the building is very drab and I was concerned at first that my ride did not drop me off at the right location. The hallways are very noir with low lighting, black doors, and dark carpet which is in stark contrast to the rooms.

Front desk staff were excellent and the restaurant bar staff & manager were top notch professionals. The food was delicious and the bartender was spot on with a cocktail recommendation.

Do not forget to check out the coffee shop on the first floor. Top notch treats (the rhubarb tart is a must) and delicious drinks served by counter staff who were excellent.

It was tough to get a ride share service to come down to the city center on the weekend due to that area being an urban desert since everything else is closed) so take that into account for plans.

We had our wedding block here and we could not have asked for a better experience. Our guests were raving about the service, food, drinks and hotel. Dale and his team went above and beyond. We'll definitely be back and would recommend this hotel for business/vacation/wedding/etc.
