Gary and the installation team did a wonderful job. I needed an entire house of custom-size area rugs in a very short time period. Gary worked with me to choose a broadloom pattern and color that would work for the whole house and was also available quickly. He got the carpet in and the cutting and binding done during the Thanksgiving holiday week, which really impressed me. His installers were amazing! They laid each rug meticulously, checking with me to make sure I was happy with the positioning each time. I highly recommend Fashion Carpets and will definitely use them again myself when I need more carpeting.

My husband and I used Fashion Carpets to plan and install a runner for stairs of our colonial home. They did a fantastic job. Very accommodating, knowledgeable, professional and precise with everything from the first time in the store, to the finished product. We are so happy with the quality of the carpet purchased, as well as the installation. There were no short cuts. It was done right. Carpet came in faster than expected, and was installed very professionally. Looks wonderful! I would recommend Fashion Carpets to anyone looking for flooring done right.

Gary at Fashion Carpets on Van Houten is who you NEED TO USE. He is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining the differences in carpet style and quality. He will help you buy what you need/want. It was a no pressure sales experience. But it didn’t stop there, the install was quick and seamlessly (pun intended) easy. Great experience all around. Gary at Fashion Carpets on Van Houten just spent an hour with us. He has a diverse inventory and was very knowledgeable to advise us on the differences in qualities and styles. At the end, he gave my son a big rescue helicopter toy for being such a good boy. As far as I can tell, his reasonable prices together with quality product and customer service make for a great deal. I would recommend anyone looking for flooring work to go to him first.

Fashion Carpets installed laminate flooring in two rooms and the entrance landing.Along with new carpeting in the living room,hall and a bedroom.
A very nice and neat job done by the installers who were very friendly and took their time for a very nice install.Absolutely no complaints.
The owner Gary was also pleasure to deal with.I'll be doing another floor downstairs in around April/May and will definitely use Fashion Carpets again.

We could not decide on a new kitchen floor and Gary was very patient with us and allowed us to take home multiple samples over a number of visits. We finally decided on a vinyl plank floor and a carpet from their leftover roll section. The carpet was taken up and new one installed in less than 3 hours. The kitchen floor installation included a laundry room, pantry, half bath and hall. It took a bit longer -3 days but they did a great job. Highly recommend .

I really wanted to leave this place a good review and I was hopeful on my first visit with my Mom. We explained 3 times we didn't want a carpet with foot prints. Well that's exactly what we got! I have to hear my Mom complain every single day about this carpet! The foot prints are so bad it's terrible. He told us with wear it would get better! It's not!
The workmanship and delivery date was good, though! The padding excellent like he said.
I just have to gripe about not listening to the customer needs and educating what will show footprints or not. We liked a sample there, but we could have been warned about how it might not be the best fit because of our concerns!
Well now we paid for it and have to live with it! Not happy at all :(
