Dollar General

I don't know what all the bad reviews are for. They are always stocked, have the best prices, and carry namebrand items. Are you guys really whining that some of the employees aren't super friendly and don't go out of their way to chitchat? Look at the times; no one is happy, especially at work. Get over yourselves and find something real to complain about. And this store isn't GHETTO or IN THE HOOD at all. You guys are ridiculous. This store is a lifesaver and amazing. Point blank period. If you need someone to be nice to you, call a friend. Let the employees do their job (and that's not to be mandated to have a running convo with you)

BEST dollar general I've ever been to not only because I inventory and stock is always up for what I need the training of the employees is excellent employees especially management of that location is always on the job SM and ASM

Love thus place large variety

When this store first opened, it was wonderful. Clean and well run. There must have been a change of management because it is a mess! Large open metal containers filled with either merchandise or flattened cardboard are at the end of the aisles and it is difficult to get past them with a carriage. The front sliding door is broken so you have to pry it open. People must have gotten annoyed so they left it open on these really cold days. I suggested they put a garbage can outside. They did but now it is overflowing because no one’ wants to empty it! Some of the workers in the beginning are now gone. The last cashier a young man never looked up at me and never said a word. He wasn’t a zombie because I checked. VERY DISAPPOINTING. This store needs a new manager and trained cashiers. This is across the street from a great 7 Eleven.

Do not waste your time coming to this store!
The “manager” it’s super ghetto and the cashiers as well. They will talk to you in a rude manner! If you don’t want to have an unpleasant moment.

very very very bad customer service, people behind the register are very rude while ringing up your items not only that but the guy basically threw my items at me and gave an attitude the entire time. will not be a returning customer.

So Ive been there twice both times store had no bags nor shopping carts and hand held carry baskets. Mgr tells me people steal the carts as far as the bags and baskets didn't elaborate on that. How can a business stay open if customers cant shop with a cart or carry out their goods. So i had a tiny bag in my car bought a few things spent 15$ I told the cashier id spend 50-60$ if you had carts and bags. General is losing a lot of money. I guess they don't care because stores in the hood. I doubt they gonna last if they don't get on the ball with these necessities.

Tonight, we got a garbage bag as the checkout bag to hold our items. Last week, I had to buy my own ribbon for balloons they blew up and tie each balloon the employee gave me. There’s also food all over the place outside with garbage. This place was supposed to be better than the actual $1 stores 30 feet away, but it’s a concerning disappointment.

Staff very very unprofessional not even greeting customers and very rude while ringing your iteams , giving attitude, if they not feeling like coming in to work and do the work then stay home!

Need more employees. Stock all over the place not put on shelves.
