It is a great restaurant for an outing with family or friends. We tried out the hibachi and had a really wonderful time with the show. The chef was funny, delightful, and a generally great guy! For him, this completes 5 stars. Personally I would recommend that you visit around the week when there are fewer people because at weekends there can be quite a rush. The food was definitely worth the price (although a bit more on the expensive side) and everything was clean if a bit empty, since most of the place is dark colored the enviorment wasn't my favorite however this was a really good experience and I am currently making plans to return! Really enjoyed it!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time! Love the dragon sushi (large sushi pictured - also pictured is tuna sushi) and habacki scallops (pictured) the most! Bonus: The table next to us had a birthday and they did a wonderful presentation with drums and a cake. Now all of my kids want to go there for their birthdays!

Sumo is very clean and comfortable. The food is so good. Very fresh and delicious!!

Food is amazing and never a let down. Very friendly staff. Definitely recommend the spicy Kani salad. As this is my wife's favorite restaurant we come here often. If you have a little extra money and a few more people watch a show. The shows are a great experience even for little ones.

Good place, decent food and experience with the chefs. Portions get smaller and smaller each time I visit it seems and prices go up and up a bit each time as well. However, the family loves the tricks and shows the chefs put on.

Everything about this evening was really good! The food was excellent and our chef was very entertaining. He was also great at dealing with the young children in our group. Great evening!

Wonderful entertainment, PHENOMENAL food, drinks were delicious and modestly priced! Even their house salad was amazing! Finally! I've found a restaurant that serves delicious Japanese cuisine in Upstate NY! I'm so upset I've wasted 6 years of not dining here. I can't wait to go again!

A lovely time as always with more food than we could eat and a great show. Only downside is that the hibachi area is a bit loud (probably not recommended to those with sensory processing issues)- but the regular dining area is fine.

We moved south and came back to visit family and had to get take out from here. The best hibachi anywhere!
