Justin was great! He helped fit me for some orthotics for my ice skates, and really took the time to ensure we got the best arch support and fit. My kids had to come with me and he was so patient with my 3 year old that wanted to be a part of the whole process. Would recommend footworks to anyone looking for orthotics or who is having issues with their feet!

Was extremely hesitant the second I sat down with one of the “fitters.” I’ve worn a 9 in adidas for the last 20 years and was told that I needed an 11.5. I have been in such bad foot pain I was willing to do or spend whatever it took. The shoes did feel comfortable but big from what I was use too at the same time. I can’t explain the relief I had immediately and now have no use for any of my other “size 9s” in the closet. I ordered a pair of work boots (that were not currently in stock with the color I wanted) the same time I had new tennis shoes and they just came in and I’m extremely satisfied.

If you are shopping here, I’m sure your feet are not in the best of shape… do yourself a favor and listen to these pros, it will change your life!! Will most definitely be a returning customer!

The FootWorks Store is a full service shoe store. Justin was knowledgeable and kind in getting me in the best shoe for my needs. You will not regret going there for any shoe needs.

Super friendly staff! Austin was a huge help to me in making sure I had the right shoe for my medical schooling and clinicals starting this fall. Justin, the manager, also was great in the process. Definitely recommend this place!

Chris and team are artists with shoe modifications. I have a need to build up the soles of my right shoes which can make my right and left shoe look very different. I have used the services of many shoemakers over the years and, quite frankly, the shoes just don’t look good. Chris is THE BEST at maintaining the aesthetic look of the shoes while building for performance and durability. I value these guys and consider them lifestyle partners.

Following a corrective foot surgery and in need of customized fit shoes, this store was my first stop (I'm new to the area). Complete satisfaction and more. Owner Justin used prowess and experience to take care of my needs, very well. I knew this would be expensive, but the results will make my every waking moment better for years. Money well spent, and I'll be back.

My 84-year-old dad has been complaining of leg and back pain for a couple of years now, and we thought it was arthritis, which he's been seeing a specialist for.

But last weekend, my brother-in-law noticed that my dad was walking with his feet tilted inwards and suggested that maybe we should get someone to take a look at his feet to see if maybe his shoes were the issue.

So we made an appointment at our local Footworks for today. Justin measured my dad's feet thoroughly, checked his flexibility and mobility, explained to my dad very patiently how the mechanics of feet work, and answered my dad's many questions.

Justin then disappeared for a few minutes, and came back with some orthotic inserts, which he inserted into my dad's shoes and helped put the shoes back on his feet and tied them. Then he asked my dad to stand up and walk a bit around the store.

HOLY MOLY, PEOPLE. My dad stood up and literally gasped with amazement: "This is unbelievable! The pain in my legs and butt are COMPLETELY GONE." He kept saying, "This is AMAZING!" over and over again to us.

Justin explained that my dad would want to try out these for a while, to make sure they worked for him, instead of making an investment right away in the slightly pricier shoes. And told us if my dad didn't continue to feel improvement over the next month, we should come back to reassess. He didn't try to upsell us on higher priced items or push any additional accessories onto us. He was patient, kind, professional, and knowledgeable.

The price of the orthotics was a bit more than my dad had expected (but exactly what I had expected, about $100), but he was so thrilled, he paid for them immediately - and it helped that Justin had already proven his trustworthiness to us by not trying to sell my dad anything extra that he didn't need. That kind of integrity means A LOT to us.

This might sound like hyperbole in a simple story about some feet and shoes, for Pete's sake, and I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking so. If I heard a story like this, I might roll my eyes at the person telling me. So dramatic.

But this is no exaggeration: these orthotics have changed my father's life. We've just driven home after his appointment and during the drive he said quietly, "I feel like there's some hope for me now. I feel like I can actually go on now that the pain is gone." He was looking down at his feet in wonder and relief as he said it.

Thank you Justin, and thank you Footworks for literally putting the spring back into my dad's step - we are so grateful!!

Staff seems knowledgeable and they were also very friendly. I don’t know if the inserts are going to work for me. I tried on five pair and found a pair that made my feet feel immediately better. Justin the gentleman who helped me also added a shim under the right hand side of the insert that seemed to make a difference.

Expect to pay a little under $100 for the inserts and around $150.00 for a shoe that fits proper. I will update in a couple months.

Justin was great and VERY patient with my 90+ year old mom a couple weeks ago when we purchased shoes, spent a lot of time finding the correct fit and shoe and insoles. We have been going to The FootWorks Store for over 10 years and love this place.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff! They don't try to upsell you to more expensive products, and are happy to make an appointment for free adjustments for inserts. It's better to call ahead to make an appointment because they are so busy, but it's worth it! I never realized how much of my back pain was from my ankles collapsing inwards, messing up my posture, which they quickly identified and fixed for me.

Chris listened to my concerns then examined my feet. He then gave a sensible explanation, recommended sturdy shoes for me to wear since I spend 9 hours a day on concrete floors. It took just a few days to get relief and I had put up with discomfort for a few years, thank you !

Follow up is exceptional. I felt some question of the service, after my first visit.
When I commented to Chris, he made a second appointment, and the additional work, with the inserts and shoes, was very much better. I feel more comfort, but even more, I know if I have any more questions they will be taken care of, with satisfaction.

Oh my gosh. If you are in pain please see them. I have been in pain for years. I have had surgery on both ankles/feet. After one hour - I am walking without a limp! Life changing. They can’t undo the problem- but it is so much more manageable!

I am updating my review from my recent visit to the store yesterday (4/28/2021). Absolutely still 5 stars!!! They are only taking customers by appointment and are understaffed due to COVID. Yet the staff still provided their usual outstandingly professional, caring, and personalized service. ..... Again, I came away spending LESS than I had anticipated. I found a pair of New Balance walking shoes in their clearance section for $50--in my hard-to-find size of Women's 11 Wide. AND they were very willing to work with me about payment. I had planned on using my HSA, but funds would not be deposited in the account until the following day. They were quite willing to hold my check until I called in the following day with my HSA number. ...... If you have any foot, ankle, knee, or hip pain, visit this store!

Here's my older review: If you have ANY foot issues, this is THE place to go! Everyone is very knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful. They really take the time to help with whatever your individual need is. I always end up spending LESS money than I anticipated I would have to. When does that happen nowadays??

Highly recommended! I drove from Dayton for a full assessment. All my expectation were met. Their staff were thorough with every detail of my foot and provided the solution that would solve my needs. I appreciate most their business ethics and not pushing any expensive orthotics that were not necessary for my particular fitting.

Great customer service. They take the time to make sure you are getting the shoes you need and that they are a comfortable fit. If you find within 90 days you are not happy with your purchase, they will work with you on finding another pair and do an exchange. Been going there for many years and will be back.

Have been coming here for years for my foot needs, I have very high arches and they always know the correct shoes (both athletic and career styles) and custom fit my orthotics which has relieved all back and knee pain! I was delighted on my most recent visit to see improved selection...love seeing more stylish options available!

I love this place. They tell you what you need to know. They have a variety of shoes. They specialise in orthopedic shoes and inserts. They will take there time to find the right shoe or what ever you may need. It can be busy at times. So a appointment is recommended, but not always necessary.

I am a hairstylist who works 12 hour days. I had achilles tendon repair surgery several years ago. When I went back to work I was in extreme pain. I made an appointment at footwork and they knew right away what was causing my pain. They got me into a pair of shoes that worked for me and the next day I worked pain free for the first time. Since then I have never purchased work shoes anywhere else. I also love that they will special order any style shoe that I like in the brands that they carry. I cannot say enough good things about footworks!

Excellent service, friendly and non-judgemental. I was only there for shoes that I could wear with my ankle braces, so I can't say anything about the other services. They help I received was excellent, not pushy, and not rushed. I would recommend this store to anyone with problem feet.
