Smoky Row Children's Center

We've had an amazing experience at Smoky Row with our now 3 yr old daughter, after switching from another school at age 2.5. The quality of education and activities the kids receive is best-in -class and the teachers are incredibly communicative. The art portfolio and hands-on experiences our daughter has experienced in just six months is impressive- we're running out of room on our fridge to display everything! The staff is very patient and creative with any toddler behavior/adjustment issues and will send us texts throughout the day with updates if we have concerns. I can't recommend Smoky Row enough!

We could not be more happy with the care we receive at Smoky Row Children's Center. The tenure of the teachers alone (many 10+ years) speaks volumes to the family/loving atmosphere you feel when you walk in. There is a reason they stay so long! On top of that, both of my children are also receiving an exceptional education through a play based curriculum. My girls have THRIVED since we moved to SRCC a few years ago. Best decision we ever made.

This is the first time for my daughter to assist a daycare, and I couldn't see her any happier. She wakes up everyday asking to go to school. She really loves the place. Our son has only been with family for childcare. Smoky Row has been great for him. They welcomed him with open arms, helped navigate the new waters with love, support, and consistency, all of which has helped him grow and become more independent. I highly recommend Smoky Row to all!

We have had the best experience with Smoky Row Children's Center. We tried a few of the other franchise places (Goddard etc.) before finally landing on Smoky Row. Nowhere will you find such a wonderful and nurturing environment for your child due in large part to their ability to recruit and retain dedicated teachers.

My youngest daughter enrolled a few months ago and it has been such a joyful experience. She is in the Friendship Room and the teachers are so caring and creative with their teaching. Social and emotional skills and regulating emotions are prioritized and it makes such a big difference for the kids. It is a calm and kind environment and we are so happy to be here.

I've had all three of my kids at Smoky Row at various times - it's the best childcare center I've experienced. Most of the teachers have been working there for years and they are universally phenomenal with the kids! I would highly, highly recommend this place.

Smoky Row has changed our lives. There is no better feeling than when you know your child is truly loved when they are away from you—and this is what we have found in SRCC. The staff is communicative, caring, and well trained on how to help children grow socially, emotionally, and academically. We are forever grateful to be part of the SRCC family.

We were hesitant to have our daughter enroll in preschool for the first time, but we have been SO happy with Smoky Row. They have a kind, caring, experienced staff that makes all the difference. My daughter loves it and has learned a lot already!

We have been a Smoky Row family for 6+ years and I always tell anyone looking for childcare to look no further! Before coming to SRCC, we did an in-home sitter, The Barrington School and Mangos place but never found the perfect fit. As soon as we walked into Smoky Row, we knew we found what we were missing. This place is truly a hidden treasure. Very low staff turnover (indicative of the great morale!), happy kids who LOVE going (speaks volumes about their day), and a peace of mind I never had anywhere else.

I could go on forever, but if you are looking for quality care (and EDUCATION), people who will love your children like your own, and an environment that will cultivate a love of learning while having FUN, this place is for you.

We have had 1 or 2 kids at SRCC since 2018. It's a relief to be able to drop them off in the morning and not spend a second worrying about them while at work (other than the normal parent worries)! They spend a lot of time nurturing the body and the mind and the staff is wonderful.

Our son has been going here over two years and we love it. The teachers and staff have been here a long time and it shows. The place offers stability and wonderful care for the kids.

My pre school age daughter has been attending for a couple of years now. She looks forward to going each day. Kind caring staff and culture that makes each child feel like they matter.

We love Smoky Row Children's Center! Our daughter's teacher is so caring, and the entire staff has worked hard to make a personal connection with our daughter and with us. As an educator, I am very impressed with the play-based education our daughter is receiving at Smoky Row. It is developmentally appropriate and makes learning fun and natural. I am also pleased with the social skills and independence that are being fostered by Smoky Row's teaching philosophy and practices. Our daughter loves school and is flourishing. We have loved our experience at Smoky Row. I went to many preschools trying to find the right fit for my daughter. I knew as soon as I met Lora the director, that this was the school for my little one. The teacher retention is not only impressive, but it’s reassuring. Miss Jola and Miss Kim are kind, understanding and have an absolute gift for working with children. I LOVE the open lines of communication that they have with us as parents, I love that the kids get to play and exercise multiple times a day, and I am blown away with all the information my daughter is learning. I am so grateful that we found our place in Smoky Row and I love the family feel. My daughter is so well taken care of and this is the perfect fit for her.

Smoky Row has been providing quality childcare for over 30 years. Some of the current teachers even attended as children! Their commitment to the well-being, health, and happiness of the children in their care and the families that entrust them is beyond rival. The teachers are incredible and their dedication to their jobs shows through every day.

Smoky Row is a MUST SEE when touring preschools! As a teacher, I was very picky about the kind of preschool I wanted my children attending. Many preschools push technology and workbooks but those things aren't developmentally appropriate for children in preschool. At Smoky Row, it is all about learning to be a good person, developing a love of literacy, creating art, and having fun! The teachers at Smoky Row love my children so much and provide them with so many fun, hands-on activities that they are always so excited to go to school. The teachers that come to teach at Smoky Row stay because it is truly such a wonderful place. The minute I walked through the doors of Smoky Row (after 15 other preschool tours) I knew the place that director, Judy Chosy, had created was the perfect place for my children and I haven't regretted that decision even once during the time we have been attending Smoky Row Children's Center.
