Friendly Tavern

First impression - very nice and updated restaurant / bar TVs almost everywhere in view. They also have plugs at booths to utilize which I thought was really nice to be able to charge a phone or plug in a computer. Including usb plugs.
Drinks - lots of options mostly normal stuff. OJ, Apple, lemonade, Tea, milk/chocolate milk.
Food - basic good old breakfast.
French Toast Sticks - for the daughters. Choice of meat, sausage which they had both link and patty, and bacon. We went with the links and bacon for their French toast.
French toast - I chose the French toast and I was not disappointed. Very tasty and texture was on point. Was a fan of the flavor of the sausage but that was just me. Good links and my daughters loved them.
Plan to come back for dinner and trying them out.

Me and my wife are here for the first time ever and it was the best service from the workers I've ever seen the food was fantastic and very delicious will be going back really soon

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THE FOOD!!! The hamburgers are REAL hamburgers! The fries are homemade! The carrot cake is to die for!! I need to eat here at least twice a week!

Awesome chicken chunks!! Very lightly hand breaded and crispy. I recommend the hot honey sauce. Hand cut fries with ketchup and vinegar on the table. Potato skins are perfectly crispy on the outside. The girls working have always been super sweet!

Stopped in on 2 different occasions within the past month and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is! Absolutely love the tenderloin and the fresh cut fries are top notch! Very family friendly atmosphere!

Wonderful place to eat for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, excellent service homemade food done right!!!

Had the BBQ pulled pork, and it was moist and tasty. I will be visiting Friendly Tavern again. The atmosphere and food was fantastic. The only issue I did have was the bathroom door was propped open with a trash can and I was afraid to shut it, then I noticed the whole restaurant was able to see clearly into the bathroom as I was peeing. I would recommend the tavern to not prop doors open to the bathrooms.

It was a nice surprise to find this tavern. The New York style pizza is very good. They have a good beer selection and it's cold. I have been recommending this place to everyone since going. We hope to return there soon.

On our way to Cincinnati, Google Maps diverted us throgh the country to avoid traffic and our stomachs drew us to St. Marys, OH where we found the Friendly Tavern. The burger was fabulous and their hand-cut fries were a perfect complement. The Texas Toast BLT was also wonderful, along with an order of potato skins. Everything is homemade and fresh. Definitely recommend the Friendly Tavern.

Had 2 burgers and beer. Burgers were tasty and well cooked. Had the Simon Girty beer, which was great!

Ate there twice in a week to have the New York style pizza. Lived in Connecticut for 4 years, and this is the most authentic I've had since. I need to start trying the rest of the menu. Nicely renovated. Friendly staff. Go try it!

Amazing atmosphere. Out of this world food. And the FRIENDLIEST staff! 10/10 don’t miss out and make sure you come enjoy this great bar and grill!

Highly recommend! Went there for breakfast about a week ago. Had pancakes and they were huge! Also had a bloody Mary that was delicious. Will definitely make this our regular breakfast spot

About a dozen of us descended upon Friendly's around 9:30 for breakfast. Food was a little slow coming out, but there were a lot of us and a small grill to cook on! Service and food were great!

Great food. Our waitress was Cara & she did a wonderful job
