Laurie Nielsen-Haak, D.P.M., A.A.C.F.A.S.

My family and I really loved Dr.Neilsen-Haak. She was great with my son and his foot issues. She was very knowledgeable about his condition and how to take care of it. You can really tell she loved her patients. I hope one day soon she starts practicing again. She’s the only one I trust with my family’s foot care!

She gave my grandpa an antibiotic knowing already how many antibiotics he was on and because she gave another, my grandfather contracted C. Diff (Clostridium Difficile: a stomach infection that is very deadly to anyone over 55 & that is highly contagious.. you can get it from as little as touching a door knob.) And from the severe harsh vomit caused so much pressure in his head that he had a several severe strokes, at least two without showing regular stroke symptoms, and from that and another stroke that followed, he obtained small vessel disease from the strokes and is severely ill. This woman does not deserve to be a physician. She literally ruined the best part of our family. The center of our love. The man that built us. The most selfless, kind hearted, and intelligent man I know. My grandpa willing raised me without being asked. Let his home be my safe haven my entire life and eventually when my parents divorced let me move in and taught me how to live a good stable life of my own. But I’m not done learning. I’m taking every single second I can get with him, still learning about life and how to grow and live in this awful world. One day I’ll have to learn from my own experience without him sooner than it most likely would’ve been bc of this inconsiderate, disrespectful, entitled, RUDE, terrible “physician”. She doesn’t deserve the honor of being something as great as a physician. She is at fault for the reason my grandfather will die. Sooner than it would’ve been if she had paid attention to her patients chart and double checked everything instead of just picking a medicine and signing her name. I’m torn and broken and I’m not doing this out of spite or vengeance. I’m doing this to spare other families of this heartache and sadness. She doesn’t deserve to be a doctor. And she sure as hell shouldn’t be allowed after ruining our family and most likely others by simply not paying attention to a medication list. Choose a better office and physician to care for your loved ones. People deserve better. Families deserve better.
