Had such a pleasant experience here. The furniture selections are constantly being refreshed - and furniture is sometimes put outside for free. That alone is just incredible. And it's very nice furniture. The men working there today were so nice and helpful, I'm very thankful for them helping me get my couch secured in my truck.

Recently stopped in for the first time to look for a couch. Found this 60s/70s couch that my husband and I thought was pretty cool. Very clean, comfy, and a great price. We will be back!

We purchased a nice dining table at a reasonable price here. I would recommend checking out this store if you need anything furniture related. They loaded the table in our SUV for us. Thank you!

UPDATE: After writing about my own positive experience this week, I read a few reviews from other folks and my heart broke a little bit for them.

My understanding is that profits from “Habitat for Humanity” sales go to all the necessities of planning, organizing, promoting, accumulating supplies, gathering skillsets,….. required to bring housing opportunities to our neighbors.

I think we all agree, that is a lot of work!

Today, yes, ‘Arhaus’ merchandise dominates the store's floor. But as you can imagine, with no Salaried Buyer on staff to purchase specific restock, Habitat for Humanity is at the mercy of our collective donations offered. And what a very generous gesture from Arhaus. No judgement who deserves, or who can afford. Simply, this is what I have to offer, it’s yours.

Can you imagine spending money every time you walk into a store?! It’s OKAY to browse. Next time, perhaps, you’ll find that golden nugget like I did.

Let’s continue to support our neighbors though this organized and worthy cause, by donating the excess of our own blessings. And financially through our purchases and/or monetary contribution as feel so moved.

A full experience chance to share the love!

Can't say enough about the generous spirits who operate such a large establishment and cause.

"Dawn" was so attentive and patient addressing my hesitation concerns purchasing a large appliance. We also talked with "Charlie" who has a quick smile and genuine concern that both donor and purchaser are honored in the transaction. After my purchase, "Daniel", who I had not seen previously, saw me lingering and offered help with any questions.

My new stove has been delivered now and there will be anticipated repairs. But the whole experience and kindness, I will recall each time I heat up the burners. And THAT is priceless!

Wonderful helpful people work at this ReStore site. Large store, lots of construction supplies. Change daily so see it, need it, get it, don't wait or dither. Doors, windows, appliances, bathroom and kitchen cabinets and plumbing needs including tubs, toilets, sinks, showers etc. Furniture and lighting needs galore in all shapes and sizes. Super prices and proceeds go to help build housing for the needy.

I worked with Rachel, the Logistics Coordinator, on making a furniture donation. She was professional, knowledgeable, and considerate. I love the mission of Habitat for Humanity/ReStore, and it's great that they have employees like Rachel working for them. Rachel is an outstanding ambassador for a great cause!

As out of control inflation and government corruption crushes Akron residents, Habitat offers fantastic staff and a great selection. Good deals.

Awesome place to find hidden treasures. Alot of wood furniture that needs some tlc but worth the effort. Lots of chairs, filing cabinets, desks, windows, doors, etc. Eco friendly paint, Wilton baking accessories. Very friendly and helpful people to help and answer questions.

I love coming here and getting some nice things like 16 very sturdy chairs. Or a bike in ridable condition for $20. My son wants to do a home gym in our basement. We can definitely come here for that

I love the mission of Habitat for Humanity and I love supporting by shopping at Restore, especially when it helps me out too. I am furnishing an office on a limited budget and bought a new executive desk and artwork at a steep discount. It is the best interior design secret in Northeast Ohio.

Very helpful staff, and as an area physical therapist who is always looking for home care adaptive equipment/mobility aides suchas walkers, canes, crutches, wheelchairs, bedside commodes, lifts, etc... the Romig Rd Restore had a lot of choices.

And while they may not all be for "pennies on the dollar" they are definately affordable and cheaper than even what some co-pays from insurance would be at "dimes on the dollar".

Even transfer tub benches (that insurances don't cover) that normally cost $160 new are well priced and inexpensive.

Lots of other good stuff for resale and definately worth stopping by if you need any furniture, doors, windows, fixtures, plumbing stuff, construction stuff. And like I said they have very nice staff who help load for you, been there 6 times now and week days definately were not as busy as the only Sat I went which was pretty busy.

Thanks to the "Restore" I am able to get home care equipment and mobility devices cheap and then donate them out to my patients who can't afford them or who's insurance won't cover the equipment. This inexpensive task turns out making a big difference in how safe some of my patients can be made in their home doing just very basic things (like going to bathrom or getting up to chair) that we who are more mobile take for granted.

I only mention this because if you are a reader of this and have any health care equipment you want to donate to habitat for humanity "Resore" on Romig Rd in Akron, I can guarantee that your donation would be a great benefit for our area's elderly and disabled who are on fixed budgets and maybe need what you have but can't afford it new or can't get insurance to cover what they need due to restrictive rules/policies. Your donated equipment (especially some of the rarer and more costly items such as Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts or wheelchairs) can make a big difference in helping our local areas elderly or disabled, who may be just borderline safe in their home, much more safer and reduce risk of falls and injuries related to mobility deficits, and therefore prevent them from injury, reduce pain during mobility caused by not having the correct devices to address their deficit and can even improve that person's quality of life.

Not a bad return on a donated walker, commode, wheel chair, or even grab bars..... You get the picture, thanks to all those who have already donated. I will definately be going back regularly to get things from the Romig Rd store.

Super cool store!! This place has couches, beds, chairs of all kinds, a place designated for stoves, refrigerators, dish washers, and microwaves, coffee tables, dressers, and end tables, I have seen beautiful kitchen tables, and chandeliers...the list is endless!! I live on a budget, and this place gives me gently used items at a reasonable price. I love Habitat for Humanity, and recomend to anyone who has recently got a new place, and needs new furniture to check this place out before paying retail $ for the same items.

Always something I can use for my home. Have bought many items for less than retail. Redid my whole kitchen with cabinets and cupboards found at the Restore. Gotten many compliments. They have everything and it's not junk, Thomasville cabinetry for 50 dollars? Someone ordered a set and changed their mind. Slate floor tile 10 cents a tile. Brand new in the box, 3 dollars a box, 50 at the home store. Better than Goodwill or Salvation army thrift. Furniture Smith brothers 2000 dollar set for 10 bucks chairs and 100 couch, got it all for less than 250.
