Pasta Beach Newport

We had a fabulous experience at Pasta Beach! The food was very good, very rich in flavor. We started with the provolone fried cheese with honey. We also had the meatballs (yum) and an interesting "pizza" of which the crust was made of chickpeas. It was very good (unique). And, we enjoyed pasta entrees which we had to take home, due to the fact that we filled up on starters. The pasta was excellent. Highly recommend!

Sara was the entire reason we felt compelled to leave a review, she was astonishing all evening! Myself and my other half have both worked in the industry and we were so thrilled by Sara’s friendliness and service. The food was great and the drinks….the drinks were so good! Very well made. We love this place and will be back every time we come to Newport! Thank you Sara!!!!

We stopped in for dinner on a Monday night and the restaurant was jumping. Hostess was able to squeeze us in and was very friendly. The atmosphere and interior design was awesome. We sat in front of the bar and could see some people outside enjoying themselves in the patio area. Vegan options are available here which was great. We ordered the grilled salmon (husband says it was cooked to perfection) and I ordered the pomodoro basil pasta and it too was excellent. Also both had a cider which was also very good. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner and definitely recommend it if you are in the area. We parked in the public parking lot that is adjacent to the restaurant.

The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and offer a lot of help during ordering.

The food is good, with generous portion and beautiful taste. A solid place for lunch in weekends trips.

My inaugural dining experience in Ocean State, Rhode Island, was nothing short of delightful. As we were the first customers of the day, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere at this Italian restaurant. Our culinary journey began with the sight of a dough table and the aroma of freshly baked bread, instantly whetting our appetites.
The waitstaff welcomed us with a perfect blend of friendliness and professionalism. We commenced our meal with Antipasti, savoring both the calamarie and burrata caprese. For libations, I opted for a refreshing Peroni, while my companions enjoyed glasses of white wine. The Taglitelle Asparagi e Prosciutto that followed was truly outstanding. Every bite was a flavorful delight. The impeccable service, delectable dishes, and cozy ambiance created lasting memories, reminiscent of a wonderful time spent with friends in Newport Beach, Rhode Island. To cap off the lunch, I savored a cup of rich Espresso.

Favorite place in Newport. Best Italian in my opinion. Pizzas are fantastic and the pasta is salted just right while boiling.

I recommend getting a later reservation as the place does attract a much younger crowd earlier in the night. Also, try and secure a seat at the bar or back room over the front room. They tend to stick the children and larger parties up front and the winter breeze will nip your feet when the door opens.

Excellent classic Italian pastas and paninis. Large portion sizes. Good rates. The atmosphere and vibe were just delightful. Loved the decor! Must try: Pollo panini and Tagliatelle bolognese.

Nice and busy Italian restaurant in a very busy location. Try to reserve a table prior coming, otherwise you'll be sitting at the bar, like us. The food was very good. Service was good. Recommend to try it

The food and wine were spectacular! I highly recommend this restaurant !! Every dish had fresh, made from scratch ingredients. My server also recommended an italian wine to pair with my entree that was an amazing flavor explosion. We felt like we were flying first class to Italy. Every aspect of our experience was wonderful. I will most definitely be back.

We had the most amazing meal at Pasta Beach recently. We popped in on a whim and we're not disappointed. The service was only eclipsed by the quality and taste of the food. We had a Margherita pizza and the Tagliatelle Funghi followed by the Tirimisu and a slick of the apple cake with bourbon vanilla ice cream. The pizza had incredible crust with just the right chew. The Tagliatelle was incredible, filled with mushrooms and the tastiest garlic cream sauce I have ever had. The Tirimisu came in a glass jar and was the perfect ratio of lady fingers to fluffy mascarpone cream. The staff was super friendly and we sat, ate, drank, and laughed for a good two hours. While there are plenty of great restaurants in Newport, don't let a chance to stop in here pass you by, you won't be disappointed!

Great place with a menu almost entirely in Italian. Bellissimo! Tried the fagioli, the foccacia pizze rosmarino for appetizers. Also had some cut bread. Pasta dishes were piping hot and deliciously flavorful. The decor left everything bright... No shameful hiding behind dim lighting here. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite restaurants in Newport! I’ve been twice, and both times were amazing! Delicious pasta and pizza, cute ambience, friendly service, fair prices! We ordered the carbonara, lasagna, gnocchi pesto and paccheri, plus the cacio e pepe pizza. Everything was delicious and the portions are decent sized!

We had the pleasure of visiting Newport the first week of January. The pizza was outstanding. I was able to thank Gianluca, the pizza chef. As part of an east coast vacation, we also ate at the Pasta Beach in Boston a few days later, which was super conveniently located right by the Marriott Long Warf Hotel where we stayed. I will leave a separate review, but it was equally amazing.

I love this place! My family is from southern Italy and I can confidently say no restaurant can match the taste and quality of a home cooked meal- UNTIL PASTA BEACH. Amy was our server and she was fantastic! She remembered our order without writing it down (highly professional and impressive), was polite, knowledgeable, and very friendly! She made the experience! They are very lucky to have her on staff! The food is authentic and delicious! I’m very picky when it comes to red sauces but this is the best I’ve had other than my family’s own recipes from Italy. The pasta fagioli was FRESH, very well seasoned, and delicious. I’ve never been truly impressed by an Italian restaurant until Pasta Beach! This is the closest it comes to Italy 🇮🇹 Highly Recommend. You will not be disappointed.

My new favorite Italian restaurant in Newport! Everything was so great about this place! I loved the decor and aesthetic. The hostess was super friendly and welcoming, and he immediately found a table for us although we didn’t have reservations. More times than not when we dine at nicer restaurants with our kids we are met with an attitude. But not here!! The hostess took time to greet and also welcome our kids into the establishment! Our waitress was super nice and her service was great. And the food was even better. I’m not sure what they put in the bread but it is heavenly. I also asked our waitress if there was anyway that I could order just pasta with pesto, and she said absolutely. Safe to say this was the freshest pesto and most delicious pasta I’ve ever had. We are already planning our return visit, and can’t recommend this place more!!!

Pasta Beach on Bellevue in Newport is the most wonderful place to eat. As soon as you walk in your senses are greeted with a delicious aroma of freshly baked bread. The clean, warm, and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant continues to draw you in. The friendly staff will escort you to your seat where your tasting adventure will begin. The Bucatini Cacio e Pepe was cooked al dente and absolutely amazing. I can attest that this dish was better than the one I had in Italy. If you're in the mood for a panini then the Prosciutto di Parma was amazingly fresh and enormous. Definitely worth it! I highly recommend eating at Pasta Beach. Buon Appetito!

The food is amazing! Real Italian cuisine, the spaghetti vongole is to die for! Omgoodness the caponata appetizer is so good and refreshing! Try also their PIZZA and chicken panini’s, everything soo delish. I definitely recommend this place. THE BEST in Newport, excellent service and great atmosphere! Thank you.

Ps: Try some cocktail and delicious Italian wine before and during your dinner! Lol🍷

Excellent pasta with friendly waitress & bartenders. The vibe is definitely a chill & welcoming. The pasta is really really good. Definitely fresh. Seafood was great as well. Come here for your Italian fix. Next time we will try their pizza. Pizzas look delicious!
