Got pulled over by Ms. Aburish, a peace officer with the US Park Rangers. I was going a bit too fast at a bear crossing zone 25MPH.

She was very respectful professional and welcoming. I really appreciate her service. We were 4 in the car and we were all talking about how nice and professional she was.

I’m happy she used the spirit of the law to give me a wake up call via a warning. She also informed me on what the speed limits in every area. I used cruise control for the rest of the trip so I didn’t have to worry about speeding by mistake.

I love this Visitor Center. They have everything here. The Rangers will always try to answer every question that you have. The dioramas and the movie are great the views are incredible and the facilities are ample. Be aware that in the summer especially, you can get into monstrous crowds and tour buses. Sometimes the wait for the bathroom can be up to 25 minutes. if you're in the area the best time to visit is early in the morning or right before they close.

1st things 1st - yes that’s how they think. I have been to this station a 1/2 dozen times...always open and ready to go! My friends and I are usually hiking Back country. “Lou” has helped us feel welcomed and is very informative. We will miss him when he retires. LOU - enjoy life and always keep your smile contagious!!! The staff here at this station they are practical/rational. They seen us before and they always are friendly, supportive of our efforts.
