Lake View Lodge

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay in one of the miniature cabins. Comfy, clean rooms. We had initially planned on staying three nights to visit Yosemite, but the pass into the park from Lee Vining was still closed when we visited. It's too bad, because we were looking forward to using the charming kitchenette to make meals for ourselves to cut down on travel costs.

The rooms are super clean and very comfortable. We have a little kitchen in our room and it is very well stocked with everything we may need. A small little breakfast table with a full-size coffee maker. The bathroom is good size, and the shower and water pressure are awesome. The staff that we have talked with have all been very professional and kind. I would recommend staying here even if your destination is Mammoth or June. This place is great!

My friend and I stayed here in October as freshman undergrad physics students to go backpacking at Yosemite and it was great! We even saw the eclipse - especially cool as Astro enthusiasts :D The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable with freshly laundered sheets and access to wifi. The woman at the front desk was extremely nice as well, notifying us about when her shift ends so we’d know her availability incase we needed to speak to somebody. Overall had a great experience, thank you Lake View Lodge!

53 years born, raised and only living in California and I have never been here. I will be back. Stephanie provides great service on the phone to reassure you they are there for you. The gal at night was nice but not nearly as accommodating but she was still nice. The local businesses that are open are AMAZING and so considerate as well as informative. I can't wait to come back in the spring or early summer. To those coming up to take the 120 to Yosemite. The pass is closed until the snow melts enough for the to get the plows through. They estimate June or July.

We got so lucky! Last room available coming out of Yosemite National Park with a parking space right in front. The two-bed room itself was very clean and spacious. We figured they were saving the last room for anyone with a disability or wheelchair because of the numerous mirrors and space under the sinks (there were 2). There's a cafe right within walking distance with pretty good food. There's a great view of the sunrise out front as well. Would love to book this place again!

This hotel was very close to the Tioga Pass entrance of Yosemite, which was very convenient. The rooms were big and spacious, and there were even doubles which was perfect for my group. Amenities included microwave, fridge, fan, AC, cable TV. This hotel is also right next to a market which was great for some quick morning food staples.

Stayed a night with the fam; the room was clean and bright. Weak mobile signal, but with fast free Wi-Fi. Highly recommend.

This is a comfortable lodge to stay. And inexpensive price. I stayed on this room after I had a touring in Yosemite National Park. I had a long drive and I worried about this area. Because it looks this area is the depths of the huge ground. After I drove down from the hill and find this village I felt relieved. On check in, kind staff took care of us and finally we had a bed for the night. The room was large and very clean. Dinner and breakfast were not included but in few mins walk we found good diners and besides visitor center and souvenir shops. From your room you can find awesome view of the Mono lake!! I had a wonderful sunset!! Good place for relax!!

Lovely staff, rooms were comfy and the cafe was amazing. Had Breakfast and dinner here both were delicious!

This is truly one of the best hotels I have stayed in compared to the value for money. Management people were extremely courteous. It's only 10 minutes walk from the beach. They have free breakfast in the morning and wine in the evening and have a Jacuzzi and Sauna.

Having encountered some bad weather we stopped in Lee Pining not expecting to find anything exceptional. We were fortunately surprised.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the bed comfy. The snow and Christmas decorations outside were delightful and helped create a comfortable environment in an unfamiliar place.

My only complaint has nothing to do with the lodge, but everything in the town closes at 8 (at least when we got there in December), so we has to make due with what we had on us for dinner.

All I'm all a warm and peaceful retreat that helped turn our unfortunate circumstance into a lovely experience.

Great check in, check out. Large Quiet rooms, hot showers, great after a long week of climbing and hiking. Highly recommend. The restaurant on the property is expensive, but so so good and well worth it. Plus blueberry pie was heavenly, flank steak was absurdly delicious.

Fantastic location, the rooms were clean and spacious and your within walking distance of places to eat or doing a little shopping. I'll definitely be staying there again.

I stayed in one of the little cabins and it was wonderful. The place was clean and cozy. The staff at the front desk were great and breakfast at the epic Cafe is perfect. The only problem was WiFi access, which was in the process of being upgraded during our stay.

Lake View Lodge, located in town, offers excellent accommodations. Comfy bed, spacious refrigerator, Microwave. The staff is friendly and helpful. On the grounds is a charming restaurant offering healthy food choices. About 5 miles south on 395 is the road that leads to Mono Lake access.

Front desk staff were pleasant to interact. Rooms are large and spacious for families. I wish they had multiple charging points in the room.

Quaint little spot on the southern end of town, great access to everything that the Mono Lake area has to offer! Free WiFi, plenty of food and drinks at the front desk, and super helpful staff to boot.

We only needed a room for the one night, but we would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately, we only stayed at the Lale View Lodge for one night - but we would have loved to stay longer! Our cabin was very nice, clean and cozy. The staff was very friendly, personable and helpful. Places such as Bodie and Mono Lake are right around the corner. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Lee Vining, this is it! We can definitely recommend it.

Nice place with spacious rooms. Mini fridge may have been from th late 80s but no box on the back of the television set. Friendly staff. Room was not overly priced for a night the highway got snowed out..
