Mono Cone

Mono Cone has been a tradition for our family for many years. It’s a very popular place so you’ll wait in line, 10-20 min. They have good food, great ice cream choices. They have about 5 picnic tables in the back, they also have about 4 tables in part of the building. Our favor place to eat our lunch is down the street, left side of Mono Cone, end of street turn left, your at a park with picnic tables playful for kids. There is also a historical school house and an upside down house. Not sure of the days and times they are open. Good view of Mono Lake from the park.

Bought some food for to-go. Me and my family had chicken nuggets and fries for the 'snack.' The fries are alright, and the nuggets are so good! They are crispy on the outside, but soft and tender inside. They're like golden nuggets.. I also bought a chicken burger. It's also delicious! I had a bit of vanilla ice cream and it was sweetly perfect.

love the cone and pastrami cheeseburger！Definitely worth the try，will miss this after I go back home.

Love this place!! It's a MUST STOP! Anytime in the Eastern Sierra! If you like Frosty Chalet, Lone Pine you'll love Mono Cone! Get a Double, and don't forget the Bacon!

We found this place on our RV road trip. I was skeptical when I saw the restaurant because it wasn't the nicest looking building. We are glad we gave it a chance! We got burgers and fries and they were amazing!

Very busy place, they sell tacos, hanburgers, ice cream! It has small room to eat and outside patio, good portion! Highly recomend!

One of the best in our vacation. Fresh and delicious food and a nice backyard to sit with restrooms as well as 100m behind a very nice playground with a view on the lake and the island.

This place is incredible. I've been here twice and it was great both times. They have a variety of different burgers and they're not fussy about substitutions. They also have fried foods and a nice selection of ice cream. All of this combined makes it a spot you'd travel to get to, but it's more than likely that you're already in the area. When you stop by, take a walk around the corner to see the upside-down house.

I first went here 25 years ago and it's still awesome today. Definitely a great place to stop if you're driving through Lee Vining during the non-winter months.

We come here every year on vacation after we go out to the lake. They have bathrooms to wash up. Food is amazing!! Milkshakes and malts are amazing!! Oh yeah and the French fries are amazing! And they give you a huge portion!

How can I not gush over this place!! My mother worked here as a teenager so I'm completely spoiled! The pickle chips are bomb! And nothing like a good burger and onion rings to make your day great!!

Burger with cheddar...and for 350 you get a bunch of 🍟.

Maybe because I was particularly hungry when I stopped here, but that was one tasty burger. I wish I would have ordered two. If you are a connoisseur of pickle chips, however, you may want to steer clear of these.

Great tasting food and desserts. You must try their pineapple shake, very refreshing. The blackberry shake is delicious too. A bit on the pricey side but not a place with food under the lamps either.

When you're traveling a place like this a hamburger taste like the best hamburger you ever had. Soft serve clones almost as tall as the Sierra Nevada, eat fast on a hot day and share with your dog.

Good spot but CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. DO NOT GO.

Mono Cones' fast service is great and what we order was excellent. My family order pretty much everything so we wanted to see how it was since it changed ownership and believe me it is awesome. You gotta check them out and you must get an ovaltine malt and one of their barbecue bacon cheeseburgers.

I had the Hawaiian chicken burger. It was juicy, large, and delicious with large pieces of pineapple, lettuce, and tomatoes!! The onion rings were wonderful, also! The owner was very helpful in helping me recover a forgotten item. Thanks so much!!!
