I am honored to share my appreciation for Jose's remarkable talents as he has transformed our house into a dream home. His commitment to excellence, extraordinary craftsmanship and tireless work ethic have left us in awe of his abilities.

Jose embarked on an ambitious project to renovate our house from the ground up, and the results surpassed all expectations. His dedication to get the job done, in a short period of time is unbelievable.

There were a few standout features he built from scratch in our home in Newport:

New Fence with the flawless design and sturdy construction reflect his meticulous attention to detail. The fence not only enhances the security and privacy of our property but also adds a touch of elegance to the overall aesthetic as well.

In addition to the fence, he undertook other major projects of the home renovation - including the new foundation, constructing a beautiful office space, and revamping the flooring throughout the house. The transformation of our once cramped and outdated space turned into a completely open floor-plan as we requested came out beautiful. Also built and installed two new bathrooms, and a brand new staircase handcrafted made with Red Oak and steel iron rods for the side bearings.

His eye for design and paint work was evident as you walk into every room. Flawless execution of smooth paint outside and inside the house at every turn.

Beyond his exceptional craftsmanship, he is a compassionate and selfless professional as well as he dedicates his time and energy to each project that he's apart of. When he says he is going to get something done he gets it done. There are no questions. His timeline is rock-solid and will surprise you how quickly him and his team work.

In conclusion, I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional work that Jose and his company has done on our home. Anyone fortunate enough to work with him, can expect nothing short of perfection, as he has a unique ability to transform houses in homes filled with love, warmth and masterful artistry. So much respect!

READ and SEE pictures before hiring!

July- We called Jose for a quote for our downstairs trim and upstairs hallway trim to be painted from off white to bright white. He quoted us $4200, hand painted and it would take 2 days. Another company suggested spraying and quoted us double the amount. We figured okay, good price, local guy, good reviews, let's give it a try. We asked him if we needed to prep anything and he said no he would take care of everything.

August-They arrived on time and at the end of the day he called my fiancé (on speaker) saying they wanted to stay 1-2 hours to finish "we don't want to come back tomorrow" (red flag). We had my in-laws go over to pay him the rest of the money at the end of the day (all in cash). When we returned to the house, it looked beautiful from afar. However, as I got closer, I noticed paint on our newly painted walls in two rooms, and a broken plant (someone put back trying to hide). He offered to reimburse the plant ( no need just more of an FYI- not cool).

October- THE PAINT WAS PEELING IN EVERY ROOM. I also noticed the sides of the trim weren't painted, low corners weren't painted. and they never took curtain rods down, just painted around everything. ( we would have gladly taken everything down, but he said they would). I had my fiancé call him and send the pictures. At first, he was confused with who we were and denied doing our trim but then "finally" recalled the job. He said he would come back and look at the job and fix it or give us our money back. In his words " Money is not a problem, I do jobs in Newport and Jamestown" (okay?) We said we would just like him to come see the work and talk about what happened. He agreed. On the day he was supposed to come over he sent two employees to "fix" the peeling spots. I had just worked an overnight shift and was about to go to sleep, plus I have two dogs who would have barked the entire time. Painting over the spots would be a temporary fix until that peeled again or another spot peeled. We told him we sent the employees back and would call in a few weeks to reschedule a time to speak.

November- During those few weeks it PEELED MORE. I was getting so upset by the amount of peeling we had. I asked my fiancé to call him again. After they spoke, I was not thrilled with what was said so I called Jose myself. I told him we appreciated his time, he was a local man, was priced well and started the project quickly. Then I told him my concerns ( which he already knew of) and my hopes of a resolution. What I didn't appreciate was him "threatening" my fiancé that we would have to take him to court for our full refund, when a few weeks ago "money wasn't a problem". Yes, a woman 7 months pregnant, mom very sick with CA, and moving to a different state wanted and appreciated being threatened to take this "professional" to court. He said he was really busy during that time of year. Which I told him we would have appreciated him starting later or declining the job, then getting a RUSHED job. He did not deny my comment. Then I suggested it wasn't prepped correctly. He also AGREED and said they just did 2 coats and "probably didn't sand or prime it". He agreed to come back and fix it and give us ½ the money back. However his last attempt to fix it was to have two employees come and paint over the peeling, not actually prep the trim properly, prime and repaint. I gave him "the talk" of how that was a lot of money, especially to a young couple, expecting their first child. After our convo and his admitting to a RUSHED job he still said he wouldn't refund us the full amount, "I will lose money". I proposed two things: refund us half the amount but couldn't promise I wouldn't write a review (not threatening, that goes nowhere- clearly) or refund us entirely and we would cut ties. He refunded us half the amount. I plan on fixing the trim myself 8 months pregnant and then with a newborn and all. (my fiancé would but his painting skills are not there yet"

I would NEVER rehire.
