The Lee Vining Chamber of Commerce is housed in the Mono Lake Committee Information Center & Bookstore right on Hwy 395. It's a lovely spot complete with a great regional book selection, locally made goods and gifts, and a great spot to stop and have lunch outside (there's even a water fountain!)
