The Coffee Cottage

Okay this place gets 5 stars alone for giving a local discount! Yes! The atmosphere is just awesome! So comfy, so welcoming, and you feel the stress just drain out of you being here. I have a lot of allergies, and so I was limited on what I could have- and the expresso tasted burnt. However, this was my first time coming here so I am going to give this place another try as maybe it was a "one-off."

Joshua- employee- was super super nice and helpful with explaining the items available with allergies, and who can't love a place that has gnomes!

Called in a drink order and it was made exactly as ordered and was super yummy! I have to re-iterate that I LOVE there is a local discount....encourages customer loyalty!

Update January 2023:

Met a friend here and after ordering coffee we ended up sitting and chatting for 2 hours. It was not busy this morning, but business was steady. We were never rushed out of the place over those 2 hours- again we were not holding up tables. The staff were super friendly and can I just say, I love this place?!?!?! The relaxing yet cheerful atmosphere, the yummy treats, the super good coffee, and this place even has outdoor seating for warmer weather! I heard from staff they are moving to the old BBQ place in Divide! I hope that business continues to stay good, and we will remain faithful customers!

Love trying new coffee places, anything that isn't a chain and this place didn't disappoint. Friendly service, relaxing atmosphere, delicious coffee, and yummy food. Definitely try it out!

Such a cute spot to grab a quick coffee or hangout and enjoy the ambiance! They have an outdoor sitting area with a water bowl for doggos. Try the almond danish warmed up - so so good!! The folks there are super nice and truly feels like a “whole in the wall” local favourite. P.S. The minute I walked in, the coffee smelled soooo fresh and automatic. Always a good sign 🤗

I'm surprised that this is the first review mentioning a dog friendly atmosphere. My wife and I love our afternoon coffee and this is the first time we've had our dog with us on a vacation, so finding a dog friendly cafe is the first thing we do before stepping out the door. Google told us this was, so we've been there several times this past week.
The first few times we weren't sure so we sat outside at a couple tables that could use a wet cloth from time to time. The next couple of times we've been inside and treated very friendly and even some of the other customers greeting our dog. I know not all animals act the same but we were treated like family.
We've never had an issue with the coffee like some of the professional barista's that have posted here (:-). We've had varied service as we always do, even at home. It's hard to find someone that wants to work these days as well as really care if they do a good job. My first iffy experience was a couple days ago. I ordered two coffees while my wife did some quick shopping (my first mistake). I walk with a cane and managed a dog leash in the other hand. When I went to check on my coffee the employee told me to pick then up on the (pick up counter) next step over three feet away. One cane, one dog, two drinks, two hands, the math didn't work. Our experience yesterday was that while the three of us waited at a table for our drinks to be made the employee brought our drinks out to the table (and said hi to our dog).
We're here for another week so I'm sure we'll be back several more times.

Great coffee place! Delicious sweets; vegan, gluten-free options! Very glad we found it on our weekend hike adventures!!! The only thing: I wish there would be relaxing music playing( like they were advertising everywhere). There was no music there today.

This is a place to go if you like quiet and quaint. Absolutely love this place. The drinks and quiche are tasty, they have board games, and their ingredients are high quality. Definitely my favorite out of all the coffee places in town.

Very nice customer service the place was such a vibe and not crowded at all the drinks and food was very great and the server was soooo nice he even gave us free chocolate when I have a chance again I would 10/10 come again.

Very very cute place, small with different little areas for seating. I especially liked the nook in the back, it seemed pretty intimate and cozy but someone was already in there. It’s a quiet kind of coffee place, or at least it was on the Friday we went. They were not playing music in there.

The barista that helped us was also very polite and attentive!! I liked her a lot, she had a kind voice lol.

It’s situated in a shopping plaza so there’s plenty of parking and easy to access.

The coffee is not a wow! fancy! complex taste but still good and warm, and the ham and pesto sandwich we had was tasty. They warmed it up for us. The menu explains each item well. They also have a rewards program.

Great first time experience! Stopped in to get some Real Estate work done and was able to have a comfy spot. Ordered a Dirty Chai and I had the Pesto Turkey Sandwich on Ciabatta Bread. Both were excellent and the Baristas were super friendly. Will definitely be back when I am showing homes in Woodland Park.

If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind, read, or just work..not only do they have a fantastic cafe / lounge type atmosphere, but the vibes I got from this place was great and the caramel latte I had was phenomenal; seriously the best I've ever had in all of my 34 years of existence. Support local businesses!!!

A quaint and local small business, really enjoy that they are open all day long. I have lots of different food options, fabulous coffee options, some smoothies and tea. Very friendly staff and a very quaint environment with seating in three different areas. Whether you're a local or just visiting, highly recommend supporting this local business. The quiche and the croissants were very delicious.
Also Love that you can get different freshly roasted coffee beans to take home.

The BEST iced oat milk vanilla latte of my life!! The gentleman working and making the coffee was SO kind and the drinks that he made were amazing!! The shop was also super clean and adorable. Definitely will be coming back when we’re in town again!

Went in, expecting a nice small coffee shop to have a nice afternoon relaxing coffee. But it was even better than expected! The owner, Andrew, is very hospitable, and very knowledgable about his coffees. Talked to him for a while about different coffees, and in the end, he even recommended a few places to stop by and purchase coffee beans! Would definitely come here again.

This is hands down the best gosh darn coffee shop in woodland. Other coffee shops have potential. Potential to have you waiting for close to 45 minutes for a sandwich. This was not the case with this quaint little cottage I frequent my coffee and snack sessions at. Affordable, friendly, and so much more personal than the quiet chaos seen at the other shops in town. A quick stop before the grocery store, in and out every time makes the Coffee Cottage the perfect place for me.

Friendly service, yummy pastries in the menu, cofee great and internet available in case you need to do some work. There is more private sitting in the back.

I just had the best Chai Tea Latte that I have had anywhere in town. I will be back. Maddyson did a great job taking care of me. Come check them out tomorrow and help support the victims of the Boulder fire. Thank you for the locals discount.

We weren’t sure of the place at first but we were pleased by the service. We had white chocolate mocha with mint, Breve and cream cheese croissant, so delicious!!
