Peak View BBQ & Taproom

We came here for the new menu launch and the food was great! The chicken wings were apparently a new menu item (tasty with a crispy exterior and juicy-tender interior). The restaurant was clean and the decor, while still modern, retains a particular western American aesthetic. Most of all, the staff and owners were very friendly, welcoming, and provided good service.

I also recommend trying the bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers and the rolled ice cream dessert—they looked really good so it’s a shame I neglected to take more pictures.

We love visiting Woodland Park from Colorado Springs and we thought we'd give this place a try. Sorry, but, succulent seems sorely insignificant in the description of such magnificent BBQ. I wish the poetry would fill my lips like this meal did so I could adequately describe the irresistible flavors packed in every bite. We got a platter with a little bit of everything and it didn't disappoint! Everything was delicious!!!

went here for the first time today. everything was really good. it was in a nice location with a beautiful view of pikes peak. food and service were excellent, i had the brisket sandwich with potato fries, also tried their jalapeño poppers which they call ‘texas twinkies’. they were mild but good. definitely worth the visit if you haven’t been.

We've stopped in a few times when we come to Woodland Park. I love the Texas Twinkies. They are different than others that are stuffed with brisket but still absolutely wonderful. You get 5 for $13 which is a pretty good deal in comparison to others I've had.
Tried the Brisket Philly today. While the sandwich overall wasn't for me the brisket was good as well as the roll it was on. I suppose I imagine the brisket to be shredded or chopped and not cubed but it was flavorful and tender and had a nice smokey flavor. After a long day in the mountain Peak View BBQ hits the spot! Full bar and great selection of beers too.

Loriann is the BEST bartender in Teller County! Her margaritas are ALWAYS pure perfection. She is personable, fast, & incredibly attentive! She deserves a raise! Look at her, even mopping, because she cares so much about her bar!

Well that was delicious. We both got pulled pork - mine had a fresh side salad, my husband with the fries. It’s a cool place. They did a really great job taking an old Burger King or something similar and made it into a nice dine-in bbq restaurant and taproom.

Best brisket here! Moist and fork-tender, generous portion on my sandwich. Red potato salad also super good. The “traditional” bbq offered was just average. Attentive and pleasant service in a rustic-modern setting.

Me and my husband went here for dinner last night and it was delicious.

Very friendly people and delicious happy hour margaritas and onion rings! We were in town for two days and went here twice!

Great place to eat! Food was delicious and filling. We visited Saturday night and our waitress was Emily. She was phenomenal and such a hard worker. From greeting, seating, serving, running food, taking to go orders and bussing tables she didn’t miss a beat. Owners please appreciate her!

The BBQ pork sandwiches were incredible! Amazing flavor and the meat wasn't dry. Very friendly service. Felt very clean and taken care of. The kids portions were the same size as the adult sizes. And you have quite the view if you can sit outside.

A+ I ordered the Reuben and a side salad. Food was delicious! Everyone agreed! Ordered the espresso martini and asked if it was any good and the bartender came back to the table a short while later to say it isn't. Loved the honesty! I ordered the jaleneno margarita. Sooooo good! Can't recommend enough!

We were in a town nearby and saw this place. Barbecue sounded like it would hit the spot so we swung by. The atmosphere was simple, but nice. The waitress was very friendly and talked with our daughter in a friendly way. We really liked the jalapeño appetizer. I just got the Ruben, it was simple but it was pretty good. Thick slabs of brisket were involved. My family enjoyed their meals as well. I'd certainly come back.

We love this place! They offer gluten free meats, sides and sauces. Every time we come here they provide excellent customer service and great food! Definitely a recommend for amazing BBQ!

Wow! Very impressed with the food and service. Loaded fries were the best I've ever had..not to greasy. Also had the pulled pork salad and the brisket meal. Big portions and meat was juicy and flavorful. Will definitely go back.

Spur of the moment visit as we were driving by and I am happy we did! My son and I got brisket and pulled pork sandwiches and cheese curds as an appetizer. Everything was very good. BBQ sauce is unique and the meat was perfectly done. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

This is literally my favorite place to go in Woodland Park. I love the food the people the atmosphere. It is amazing. Try the pulled pork sandwich it is the best.
