Rutland State Park Beach

Today we found a hidden gem. I've been to this park many times to hike especially in the winter. But I never realized there was a little beach for taking a dip on a hot summer day! With picnic tables and grills available, we will be sure to bring our dinner next time and cook here! The swimming area is very small and the sand is typical New England lake Beach but it is a nice quiet and clean place.

Peaceful nature place for a family picnic day! There are portable toilets and there are actual restrooms too! Picnic tables and shade by the trees, perfect for hammocks. Enjoy the sights of other creatures too! It's a dog- friendly park!

One of the best state parks around. Very beautiful. They have picnic tables and grills for bbq. It has a camping feel about it. It is surrounded by pine trees so the air feels clean. They do have bathrooms as well that are actually pretty good shape and updated. Overall great place to spend the day swimming, bbq, walking etc with family and friends. Always a peaceful enjoyable time when we go.

This is a great place to take a nice walk in woods with great trails to follow. You can walk long.or short distances. Have fun
