The staff was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend the Sweet Corn Agnolotti.

I grew up Italian in New Jersey and I never could have dreamed of a place like this under Big Sky country. This is the only place I would even think of getting Italian from in the future. The calamari was cooked just so when so many cook it too long. The octopus just the same, being such a delicate dish I have not had such amazing octopus since my trip to Italy itself. It melted in your mouth. The risotto was perfect. The desserts were the crowning jewel of the meal. I was blown away and highly recommend this restaurant. I will be returning.

While the various versions of rustic steakhouses on Main Street may be the stereotypical image of tourist Bozeman, every once in a while you just need variety - and perhaps a place that is warm, friendly, and comfortable without having to be so "Montana" image-conscious. We found Blacksmith Italian for dinner last night and had a wonderful experience. Our server was very friendly (thanks Justin), and the food was really delicious! I would definitely go again!

Great experience! Our waiter, Grant, made some great recommendations and was super attentive. The chicken marsala is one of the best menu items I've ever ordered. I highly recommend Blacksmith Italian!

It was absolutely amazing. The buzz of the whole restaurant was great! We didn't have a reservation, so we sat on the line of the kitchen where it was a bit noisy, but Absolutely amazing to see the kitchen work like they did!

The food is delicious. For appetizer we had the greens goat cheese beet salad which was excellent.

Then the sweet corn and mushroom agnolotti and squid ink pasta. Pasta definitely tastes really fresh since they make it in house. The flavors for both were varied and tasty.

Recommend reservations as they were booked for Friday so we sat at the bar. That was fine but if you want a table better call ahead.

Abosolutly spectacular! First thing as we walked in was the smell of Nonna's house right before dinner. The pasta was cooked correctly, the sauces were flavourful, with bread was oily and fresh, and the staff was friendly! The owner even came and chatted for a bit with us and checked up on us throughout our meal. The night was finished with the absolutely amazing budino made from fresh, local ingredients. Can't wait to come again and try something new!

This food! Oh I ate so much! This chicken marsala that I took the picture of is divine! Very tasty. We ordered mussels in wine sauce for our appetizer and homemade tiramisu! Everyone better eat here! Excellent service by our waitress Taylor!

Have been a regular since they opened, and go to blacksmith for every special occasion. The food is delicious every time , and the service is always great! This place is consistently a 10/10, and that’s hard to find. While yes it can look pricey, you pay for what you get-this is well worth it. Carefully selected ingredients, bombs of flavors, and creative dishes!

Nice Italian place. Really enjoyed the texture and flavor of the homemade pasta. Nice atmosphere and was able to be seated without a reservation right at the time they opened, 5pm

Really delicious dinner and incredible service! We came in with a party of 8 and they seated us promptly. Our server was phenomenal, helped us pick a variety of salads and entrees, and even worked with us so we could eat family style.
For our entrees, we enjoyed the special of the night, Lasagna, the Ravioli Bolognese, the Orecchiette Rustica, Spaghetti Carbonara, and the Chicken Marsala. My personal favorite was the Chicken Masala, but it was all phenomenal! The handmade pasta really clinched it.
We were celebrating 2 birthdays, and so we ended up trying 4 desserts, which were each spectacular. The chocolate Creme Bruleé (pictured) was extremely rich and decadent to the point that it almost felt like eating fudge. The Butterscotch Budino was the dark horse of the dessert menu, a late add-on that ended up being the standout star for its lightly sweetened flavor. The Tiramisu and Cannoli were also amazing, and a perfect complement to the meal.
Overall, this restaurant was phenomenal - every aspect from service to food to atmosphere was perfected, and we would absolutely come again!

The most amazing Italian food I have ever had. Probably the best restaurant I have been to in Bozeman. Service earned over a 20% tip, food was too good to stop eating when I was full and the atmosphere was fantastic. Pricey, but 110% worth EVERY PENNY. If you have not been here, I totally recommend it.

Came here for the first time ever tonight to have dinner while working in the big sky area for the next few days and this place has to be the best food and service I've had in years! Our server tonight was a younger guy named Ricky who treated us with the best service and food since we have been in Bozeman! The food is authentic, the vibe is so nice as well! We will defitnely be visiting here again very soon! 10/10 highly recommended if you are in the area and looking for somewhere with good service, great food, and very good prices for the amazing food you get then look no further because this is where you need to go!!!!

Not your typical italian food restaurant. Small and quaint. Very different dishes, truly unique and delicious. They do serve cocktails and wine.
