Locally owned & they just celebrated 20 years in business! The perfect local staple. I always have a wonderful time at Cateye and leave satiated. The food is amazingly delicious, the staff is extremely friendly, and drinks are fun and affordable. I highly recommend a visit anytime you're brunching in Bozeman.

Loooove this super cute cat-themed cafe! Food was incredible, service was great, cute little building. So many little cat things to look at and read while you’re here. Food was INCREDIBLE and the hot chocolate I ordered had a mountain of whipped cream !!

I had one slice of banana bread french toast with eggs instead of sausage. It was very delicious! The banana bread french toast isn't really that different than having regular banana bread but I did enjoy it! The bread was very dense and flavorful. The whipped cream and berry drizzle took it up a notch, too. The potatoes that came with the dish were SO GOOD.

Went here for breakfast and the food was quick to come out and tasted great. The huckleberry mimosa was delicious. The cat pancakes were cute. Seating inside is a little cramped but I like the atmosphere. Definitely want to get there early as we had to stand on stairs to wait for table. Friendly service. Would go again.

Came here on a whim. It was a good whim. Breakfast served the whole time because they're good people. I'm still sitting here trying to savor the now depleted steak and eggs. It was good. Nuff said.

This place has been in Bozeman for years for a reason. Great brunch here and a fun theme. The food is flavorful and well done. The prices are a bit higher than I remember a couple years ago-but that’s not super surprising.

A funky little place with great buttermilk biscuits! Would definitely recommend as a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. The biscuits were as good as my favorites here in the south and they serve them with gravy! I had the greek scrambled eggs and they were delicious.

Cat Eye is THE best place in Bozeman all around for food. Not only is it full of cat decorations, but the food is amazing! Large portions, delicious high quality ingredients, lovely staff, and really lovely mimosas!!

Could not recommend this place more. I love this place so much. 100 stars.

Kitty pancakes for 3 & 5 year old girls was so fun! Delicious double-sized huckleberry-mimosas for mom and dad, and delectable salmon egg scramble and veggie burrito. No wonder the wait line is always out the door at the Cateye Cafe! A true local-Bozeman experience.

P.s. - Paws up for the mimosa experience.

This place was so fun! Being a cat fanatic, as well as, a person who seeks local eats; I was left satisfied. The decor (mostly cats) is cute and I felt cozy eating inside because the place is not too big but just right. I ordered the veggie burrito and was able to finish all of it. If you love cats and food, this is a must stop for a quiet brunch in Bozeman.

The cateye cafe was really the Cats Meow. Breakfast was purrrfect 🐱Classic Breakfast with a leveled up approach. You can’t go wrong choosing the cateye cafe for breakfast. You have to get the Banana bread French toast. You will thank me later !

Great spot for a meal. Lots of creative choices, all of which are done well. The banana bread French toast was fantastic, and should be a regular item on every menu. The theme is well carried out with lots of cat themed decor; even the restrooms are called litterboxes. If you have cateye glasses you'll get $0.50 off, so wear them.

I got the special. Chicken fried chicken with chorizo gravy, two eggs, taters, and corn bread. Coming from the south, I was a little skeptical about the corn bread, but I was really really good. Especially with a little honey on it. The chicken fried chicken was surprisingly light, really juicy and very good. Topped with the chorizo gravy made it even better. We have been here in the area for almost a year now and just found this place yesterday. Definitely recommend you give them a try. Nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly too.

We couldn't decide on a breakfast place, and then I read "banana bread french toast," and was immediately sold. The cafe is small, and quiet. A cozy atmosphere for sure. Their coffee was really good. One of my friends got the biscuit and gravy and said it was great. The biscuit was grilled before adding the gravy which made it even better. My other friend and I couldn't decide between one of their sammy's and the aforementioned banana bread french toast. So we each got one and shared! The sammy was a delight! Eggs and spinach cooked together with chunks of delicious ham served on an English muffin with cheese. There was also a tomato jam which we asked for on the side because that's, well, not my jam 😁. My friend said it was good. The banana bread french toast was just as good as I'd hoped, and it had a light yogurt lingonberry drizzle on it which made it pop even more. This place gives you down home comfort food with small twists to elevate the food to a new level of deliciousness. Highly recommend!

There are no words to describe how delicious the food is at The Cateye Cafe! My son and I went twice in the time we spent in Bozeman, and tried to go on our last morning in Montana, but Cateye had a long line, and we had a flight to catch. The Alley Cat Sammy (fried egg, bacon, Brie, tomato, peppercorn aioli) is fabulous, as is The Cowboy (banana bread French toast with marionberry/yogurt sauce, amazing taters & sausage-photo below). My son loved the Purrfect Lunch (BLT Sammy w/Soup of the Day, cauliflower & chorizo). A special mention NEEDS to be made about our servers, Sugar and Spice, who added everything nice to our visits!
