Quality Inn & Suites Olde Town

I am so grateful for this hotel. Was in portsmouth helping my parent with medical appointments and transition into assisted living. He was staying there, long term, while he waited for a room in assisted living. He has parkinson's and has a lot of mobility challenges. The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful to all of us. And it's a really zero-hassle experience (no lines at the front desk). Hedy who manages the free breakfast is so wonderful - creates a real sense of warmth. I am a germaphobe, and i did not get a bad feeling at all - the bedding was very well cleaned, etc. it was clean. Katrina and the other night-clerk (didn't get her name) were both so helpful, as were the manager and the day clerk on my check-out day. Grateful also that it's so affordable in a very nice area (olde town is so lovely). Thank you Quality Inn!

Best staff u will ever meet. They are so caring and kind get you anything you need anytime a day they’re so friendly I became friends with almost everybody. There was very nice and quiet in the building and very comfortable beds and pillows.

Really can't overstate how helpful and attentive all the staff was--from check-in, to breakfast, to check-out--all fantastic! Rooms were fine and clean. Short, inexpensive Uber ride to our cruise, which saved us a ton of money compared to downtown Norfolk.

Alex (owner) and Rose (front desk) are such kind people and really make you feel comfortable and safe when you arrive. There is security at the front door which requires a room key or buzzer access, which is not like other nearby hotels. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities you need. Parking is free and wifi password changes weekly. I am incredibly grateful for Alex and Rose for a wonderful stay!

I always pick this hotel. Several years now the service has always been top notch. The rooms and linen is always clean and prepared when we arrive. The concierge desk representatives are professional and friendly. I highly recommend this location as well as this hotel whenever you are visiting the Hampton Roads Area if this is a good location for your itinerary.

Highly recommend this place! Great location, clean rooms and good value. We dealt with Alex the GM and he was unbelievably amazing with us. From the time we checked in all through our stay he went above and beyond. We were marked by his kindness! :)

Front desk service was efficient, the rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean also. Breakfast assortment pretty extensive, from cereal to breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal bagels, good coffee etc. We were attending a funeral for a family member and Quality Inn accommodated us with an additional hour for check out at no additional cost. A pleasant 1 night stay, and quite a few eating places near by.

I have enjoyed my stay. Front desk staff is awesome. They welcome you with a smile and has a professional disposition. The continental breakfast is great. The kitchen staff keeps every thing clean and fresh food. I recommend this as a great place to stay.

I love the kind, helpful and caring staff. I love the overall nice welcoming atmosphere. Great breakfast, the cleanliness of rooms bathroom, also the bath and bed linens. They also keep their property well maintained inside and out. When I ever come back to visit, this is definitely where I will come to. I enjoyed my stay! It was amazing!

This place is great for the price! The rooms are clean, front desk staff was pleasant, even the housekeepers are nice! Tip your housekeepers! I'm glad the place I was gonna go to stay at ran out of rooms. I got a great price and there was a desk and chair in the room which I needed to work remote. There was another hotel that was my go-to whenever I come back to Portsmouth, but this will be my new one.

This was the BEST hotel stay while in the area. The staff were AMAZING! Alex and Mr. Clows (I forgot his first name so sorry) were very professional, accommodating, polite and welcoming. Mr. Hedy provided the BEST breakfast and conversation anyone could ever ask for. Whatever issues we had, the staff were more than happy and quiet to resolve them. The will be the only place I stay when in the city.

Wonderful place. Rooms were clean. Breakfast decent with Covid restrictions. Staff from owner to night staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nothing like neighboring hotels that are gross and have horrible reviews. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

One of the best Quality Inn hotels! It's located near historic district which is very nice. Staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing! Choice of teas, chocolate chips or seeds with cereal bowls, nutella and other extra things. Great coffee as well. We spent three nights there and didn't want to leave!

Staff has been great and the hotel is in walking distance to everything you would need for an extended stay. Rooms are well maintained and the price can't be beat. Definitely the best hotel in this part of Portsmouth. The breakfast bar is on point also. Take the ferry to Norfolk and enjoy the Waterside District or MacArthur mall, all on foot.

I didn't personally stay at this hotel but I have made plenty of deliveries and it's always clean and well-kept hallways are always clean and the front desk staff is very friendly and the rooms look pretty decent. They look like they have remodeled and made everything very nice.

Our room smelled like sewage the "hot" breakfast was microwave sandwiches but the lady that ran the breakfast was the sweetest lady ❤ and everyone that worked there was pretty nice

This has been a wonderful experience. Clean rooms, elevator access to upper levels. Good selection of breakfast items. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again when in Portsmouth.

Clean, comfortable rooms, a very hospitable staff, a good hot breakfast, and reasonable pricing makes this a good choice for downtown Portsmouth accomodations. Convenient to the highway (but not so close it's noisy and easy in and out as well.

Very nice location. Place is well cared for. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Easy access to Old Town. Convenient breakfast. Not exotic, but just right for the price. Will return next time I'm in town.

I'm a truck driver so I stay all over. I love staying here. Best place for the money. I will driver a few miles out of my way to stay here....everyone from the owner to housekeeping is AWESOME...great staff. Never had a bad experience here & I've stayed several times. Highly recommend it to anyone.
