Warren County Waste Transfer

This has got to be the cleanest and well-maintained dumps in the state of Virginia, and I've been to quite a few of them. Staff on site are courtesy and helpful also.

Great landfill compared to most others. Easy access and friendly staff. Very clean! Sundays are hit or miss showing up right at 12pm and the gates being open. Best fix is to wait until 1pm and you get right in. To all the staff there, keep up the great work!!

Bentonville is a well kept and operated facility. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Roll offs managed so not overloaded. Separate special areas away from regular waste for waste oil, old paint, brush, etc. Tax dollars well spent.

Clean and easy to get n and out . It’s all paved which if wonderful if it’s been raining. The Winchester and Edinburg dump can b like mad max war zone if it’s been raining and u have to fight with bigger dump trucks etc. to dispose of waste. Open on Sunday!

This is the place for : paint, tv, furnature and appliances with door removed from freezers and fridges. Orderly and clean 🧽 It’s a beautiful drive out there.

This dump is clean as a whistle, NOT smelly, and the staff is polite and helpful. What more could anyone want??

The food and dining atmosphere was wonderful, however the waitress never removed our dishes after our appetizer. Will eat here again!!

Went to waste station at park and ride
by i66 today had some cardboard tubes (half a pickup truck load) to recycle however the opening in the container is not big enough
Trying to do the decent thing next to the cardboard container is a miscellaneous paper container to which I used
After disposal of the tube’s I was approached by the person running this place in a rude voice was told I couldn’t put cardboard into that container needs to go in the cardboard container after explaining the opening is not big enough he said you need to put it in the trash compactor
so I dug them out and did as he demanded
1 why did he wait until after watching me put all of those tubes into the container to say anything and yes he was near the containers at the time I was seeing him as well during my time unloading sweeping up and looking inside the porta pods there
2 it’s a miscellaneous container for recycling to which cardboard and any paper products is of same materials to be disposed of
3 if not allowed why didn’t say no cardboard in the container

Twice now I came on a Sunday at 12pm when they supposed to be open and no one is here. I called the number on the website and the guy said he was going to check the schedule and then hung up. We got to get this fixed. Nothing is worse than someone wasting your time especially on a weekend and it's not just me there are 15 cars parked and waiting.
