Rockland Park

Great park to explore. My kids and I mainly stayed in the playground area which was awesome. The play structure is amazing and so big. There's a huge one and a smaller one for younger kids. There were 2 big pavilions right by the playground. The exercise area is great as well and they even put a shade over it, pretty awesome.
Throughout the park you can play disc golf. I didn't walk all the trails, we only walked to an overlook where you can see the Shenandoah river.
I wish there was a map of the different trails , maybe there is and I didn't see it. I only saw the disc golf map. But I'll be back to explore some more.
There were 2 portable potties. Hopefully they'll add a real bathroom to the park.
The noise from the surrounding factories did not bother us at all.
The trails are paved so perfect for strollers or wheelchairs. There are lots of hills though so he prepared.
There are also some basketball hoops.

Amazing park for kids and adults of all ages! It has 2 playgrounds for kids, a work out area with all types of machines, a musical playground with all typesif xylophone like instruments. It also has 3 walking trails and 2 huge pavilions with soooo many tables. Definitely a classy park! For parents with daredevils, there's rock climbing, 3 story slide, tall bridge in the air, and a fireman's pole. Definitely wanna watch the kids, cause if they don't know any better, they could hurt themselves or get scaling the tall things.

Nice playground with a variety of things to do for the whole family. Easy trails through the fields and woods connect to some hilly fully shaded trails through the woods. Also, along these trails by the park are disk golf stations. One has the option of taking the trail down to the Gold Course/Country Club or continuing back to the playground and picnic area. The trail has benches along the way to rest, grab a snack or just catch your breath or a glimpse of the wildlife. All trails are paved and stroller friendly.

There is an exercise equipment pad across from the picnic areas if you want to get a little more of a full body workout and outhouses in the parking lot.

Just came from here it’s a hidden gem . Never heard a sound don’t know where this power station noise is but must be in someone’s hearing aid because we walked all the way through park and across the golf course and back and it was beautiful, secluded and clean . The music playground is such a treat and the playground equipment is fun for adults as well lol . Looking forward to playing disc golf here they even have a workout station . Everything still looks pretty new and clean including shelters.

Huge playground for 2-5 years old and another huge layground for 5-12 year olds. Big slides for kids. Swings, music to play on at the park, rock wall, bridges and much much more. Its like tree house . A rustic vibe. Very clean and they have pavillions. For shade and to grab a seat to rest or eat lunch.

Exercise equipment for Adults. The equipment is good for Calestetics. Pull up bars. Dips. Etc. Asphalt trails to walk for miles and miles.

Great park! Not too crowded and lots to do. I love the musical instruments and the workout equipment!

Came here to play frolf and the course was fantastic. It was a beautiful hike through the woods with lots of challenging holes with a frequent change in elevation. I highly recommend checking out this course.

The walking trail has great views of the Shenandoah

This is a great park for the whole family. We spend hours here walking the trails with our dog, playing on the playground, having a picnic and making music!

I enjoy running the trails. They also have a great playground for the kids!
