The sushi was fresh, delicious, and plentiful.

I had the pork katsu which was delicious, hot and huge!

Our server was very polite and prompt. Overall a great experience and excellent food! Highly recommend and would absolutely return and bring friends and family.

Everything was amazing, and please, I don't say that lightly, as I'm pretty picky and have had great sushi from the big cities (sometimes it's a curse because I would love to be easier to please). It's been a few years since we've been here, and OMG, are we so glad we tried them again tonight. The owner makes the kimchi from her own garden from a very old family recipe, and it's *fantastic*! The sushi was super fresh and so so good! Our son had the beef teriyaki, which was simply incredible. The miso soup?! Spectacular!

Some of the best sushi you will find in Virginia. Great service and never crowded. Very nice atmosphere. Spacious for a large group. Great choices and everything is prepared with quality and flavor. Plenty of parking next to the building.

Super good food, I went here with my mom and we both loved it! The food is cheap and good. The waiters/waitresses are such nice people. The overall atmosphere gives you a nice look at Asian culture. It’s a beautiful restaurant with brilliant food. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Sushi or just food in general.

Had some EXCELLENT sushi here! My wife and I had spent the day hiking in Shenandoah National Park and this was exactly what we needed! Everything was great! The food was incredible, the service was on point and the restaurant was very clean. Just wish I had more room in my stomach for more sushi! 😊👍

Fantastic Japanese food. The owner grows the vegetables for her kimchi herself. The hot green tea is delicious and distinctive. You have to try the tempura cheesecake; I've never had anything like it. This restaurant is a gem!

This was our first time here. The people were very nice, our server was pretty funny and the food was great. 100% will come back again.

Was wonderfully surprised by this place. The menu was so amazing! So many authentic Japanese options that I rarely see. Everything was delicious, I especially loved the salad and miso soup. I recently moved to this area from NOVA and was not expecting much but it is better than d.c sushi. Will be coming back ❤

Brittany is my server! To understand this review, keep in mind this place is in Front Royal, Va. This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. I can not recommend this delicious dining experience enough to people. At first it's mysterious, because of the outside appearance. Open the front door people! Every meal I've had here is outstanding. My favorite is spicy pork Ramen and spicy tuna tempora. The gyoza is done perfectly everytime. The service is amazing and Brittany has a fantastic gift of making you feel like you are her number 1 priority. She is very knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks served. If you want fresh sushi, delicious meals and a great atmosphere, go to this restaurant!

Dining at YamaFujia always satisfies my cravings because of how well they prepare ramens, which consists of savory broth filled with springy noodle plus fresh vegetables , boiled egg ... Their Gyoza appetizer doesn’t disappoint either. Katsu also flavorful!!!

Visited on a Saturday night about 830 for our wedding anniversary. We were over dressed but that's okay. There was one other couple and a few walk ins for pick up orders in the hour and half we were there. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! A+ sushi, informative waitresses, whole restaurant to ourselves!!!! We absolutely loved it! Sushi chef was FANTASTIC! I do highly recommend going to YamiFuji whether you like Japanese and sushi or not because they're great!!!

We have become great fans of Yamafuji! Tonight was especially wonderful! Have never been disappointed. During the summer we love to take carry out up to Skyline Drive and watch the sunset eating their delectable offerings.

Yamafuji was a delight. We eat a lot of asian and oriental cuisine as my wife prefers sushi almost every meal and I choose the fried rice options every time. This one stood out to me. As many places in the DC area seem to offer variants in their fried rice such as green bean or corn, this adds very small amounts of broccoli. The part that stands out is the SMOKEY flavor the meal offers which make the taste buds dance with joy. It was delicious it almost made me sad. (weird emotions I know) But the meal was able to bring so much feeling. I believe it was the pepper added to it which the others don’t do which helped. This time I chose chicken over my usual shrimp and it was a great choice. The chicken was very tender and soft. They provided plenty of yum yum sauce. Totally recommend this friendly place.

Everything here is so delicious. The green tea is excellent, the miso lovely, and best of all- a generous fresh sushi buffet on Sunday evenings. My favorite sushi place around!

This place is a hidden gem. Just happened to be in the area and was suggested here. Place did not disappoint and food was amazing. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

The food was amazing. Sushi and salmon were so fresh! The only thing I disliked was the service. There were 2 girls, one of them is very good at what she does but the other one is rude, impolite and argued with the staff including the manager. I hope she gets better training.

One of my favorite places to dine. A wide variety of sushi rolls to pick from.
Pros: Great food, friendly staff
Cons: the parking situation, and can be a little pricey (but you get your money's worth)
