MIKADO HIBACHI & SUSHI

We love this place! It is our favorite Hibachi restaurant, and we have several choices within an hour of where we live! The servers and staff are friendly, the food is good, and they go out of their way to do their best for you. We had a small child eating with us tonight, and we knew he would want eggs, and our cook made scrambled eggs for him. And when he finished them and was still hungry, they made another egg for him. The eggs did not appear on our bill. The food is delicious and fresh. Highly recommend!

We went there for a friend's birthday and we had a great time. Chef was very entertaining and pleasant. We also had some fresh sushi which was probably some of the best we had ever had.

I never leave a review good or bad, I always do it in person. My wife and I have been coming here for a couple months now on Thursdays. If you truly want the most flavorful, intense, delicious sushi experience, come see Seandy on a Wednesday or Thursday. He is an absolute artist who is able to combine flavors that are mind numbing and make you desire more!

This place taste amazing, I love all the sushi, the noodles are really good steak shrimp, everything, there is amazing, there's really good customer service, the food didn't take long to come out

My daughter and I were here for lunch. We ordered Sushi and enjoyed it together. Delicious! Great wait staff and cooks.

I got seated pretty quickly and they came around to take my order promptly too, but keep in mind that it was the middle of the day during lunch. I would imagine it is busier during dinner.
I ordered the lunch sushi special. The salad came super fast and the miso soup followed shortly after. Both were pretty good.
I also got my sushi quickly too, almost around the same time as my soup. The sushi was pretty good too. It wasn't the best I've had, but I been to a lot of sushi bars and this one is not bad for Front Royal.
I enjoyed my time here and would bring a friend.

Two O'clock Monday and nearly empty; very fast service so, just appetizers (can't eat like I used to do). Great ocha! Seaweed salad, sashimi app; 5 pieces, one tempura roll (small w un-needed teriyaki) for grandma, hot sake, excellent miso soup. With white rice; under $50....... [Tasteless, soft pop muzak].

I am just Old School, so future orders will be made with no sauces.

Ley me jus say wow! Amazballs! Totally loved it !from the moment we walked in short wait time but So worth it ! The chef was nice an entertaining the staff was great ! The service was fast and delightful. I highly recommend this place

Mikados is a hidden gem great food mixed with great people

We would go for birthdays and holidays and just to pick up some sushi for lunch

Great food with good service.

The dining room is open on both sides, so plenty of seating.

I opted for sushi and sat on that side. Menus are on the table and I opted for the Seaweed Salad, Sushi/Sashimi Combo and a Kirin.

The Kirin was on the table pretty quickly with an ice cold glass. The Seaweed Salad (large amount) and a sample piece of sushi came with it. Both were really, really good. The salad was perfectly dressed.

My sushi/sashimi platter arrived perfectly timed to finishing my salad. Large, fresh pieces of sashimi perfectly formed. The sushi roll was fresh and well rolled.

Highly recommend. Next visit I will be getting some maki too.

It was a wonderful experience, great food and presentation. Our chef was excellent, friendly and funny. Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff. I would highly recommend.

This was our first time dining here. The moment we were seated you could hear the laughter and feel the good time others were experiencing. We were celebrating my mother's Birthday and we were happy to have had Adde be our chef. He was very entertaining and kept us laughing. Thank you for making it a wonderful memory. We will be back when in Virginia again.

Recently, there has been some slanderous and very misinformed comments about Mikados flying around on social media. I also am leaning on the belief that the slander started is coming from a very upset, childish former employee. Although, Truthfully, I am a VERY frequent patron of Mikados and have never even seen that supposed employee before..
That being said, I am here to push back against those comments and resolidify my stance with one of my most favorite places to enjoy quality food and hospitality.
I moved to Virginia in 2008 and had the pleasure of meeting Henra at a different location in Winchester before Mikados ever opened.
To my surprise, Mikados opens, and there was Henra. The service we get everytime is Top Notch. The sushi is delicious, and out of the 14 years I have been a loyal customer - only twice have I ever had an issue and the issue was always quickly resolved!! My family and friends enjoy our birthdays, special events or even those nights where we just don't feel like cooking dinner at home.

If anyone has any concerns, they can clearly access the Lord Fairfax Health district page and even see for themselves the most recent inspection that took place at Mikados. Issues found were minor and easily corrected, and no sign of pests was found despite the allegations that was recently thrown around by a "former employee ". The follow up inspection determined Mikados passed with flying colors.

Very entertaining. Some vegetarian options but there is butter in almost everything. They were willing to make adjustments like swaping out the meat soup so we could have the miso soup instead. Staff were nice too.

We always have a great meal here. Whether it be the hibachi or the sushi, you can never go wrong.

Food and cocktails were great, good location with plenty of parking, facility was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful, kid friendly, great place.

Excellent food and service. I had the Chicken and steak hibachi and my husband had one of the sushi specials. My order came with soup and salad. The chicken and steak were flavorful,tender and juicy. My husband was very pleased with his crab sushi. Pictured is crab sushi beautifully done by the chef.

Absolutely amazing! We came here for dinner and we had an event that delayed us once we were already seated. Well not only was everyone totally accommodating but they made us feel welcome and not a burden even though we had to change up and wait (our fault not there's). Once seated again everyone was incredibly friendly and entertaining as it was when we first were seated. On top of all that the food was amazingand entertaining. We will definitely come back again next time we are in the area.100% outstanding in every way.

that place i like for best sushi i say that it's expensive but tasty very good
