Twi-Lite Inn

This little motel is the best value we have ever come across! This is an older motel that has been redone with new furniture, carpet and very comfortable beds. It is run by a family who goes above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. For example, this morning I was in the parking lot and saw the manager. I asked him where the ice machine was. He told me it was in the office and before I could get my water bottle, he was knocking on our door with a bag of ice! Try finding that type of service at a name brand hotel!

Lovely little place. My brother and I stopped here for a night on a motorcycle trip. The owner is super friendly and the rooms were clean. Great value, no complaints.

This has to be one of the nicest motels I've stayed at. Everything was perfect. So well kept, very clean, lots of flower gardens, great rooms, and a pool. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. Front Royal is a nice town at the northern part of Shenandoah State Park. Highly recommend Tri-Lite Motel.

Sweet little place, clean and comfortable. Had two choices of pillow densities which I really appreciated. Bathroom was pink and blue which I found super cute. Friendly service, great place to crash before heading to skyline drive!

Fantastic experience at the Twi-Light. I even booked for an extra night one day into my stay here, I was so pleased. Contact free check-in with the friendly owners and great safety protocol throughout. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, as well as being cute and recently updated. I also really liked that the small bathroom window opened, so I could hear birds and other fall nature sounds in the mornings as I prepared for my day. Highly recommend and will return if I'm in the area!

Stopped for the night with my husband and 4 children. The kids loved the pool and were allowed to swim a alittle longer due to our coming in late. The rooms were very clean. You can tell they take pride in cleanliness and decor. The price is right if your looking for a clean friendly place to rest.

To check on us. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The outside was old school motel very clean and the landscaping was very well kept. The pool area was very nice and clean and landscaped. Very cute little motel. Easy accessed. We will stay again if we are going in this area

This place was a great stay! The people were very helpful and great personality. Very clean. They are not pet friendly but they allowed my birds to stay with me. My birds travel everywhere I go. They made my stay extra special.. Thank you so much for making my family feel so comfortable and welcomed. Oh I can't forget about the pool that was very clean and refreshing to enjoy!

Loved this privately owned motel! The rooms were small but perfectly clean and functional for 2 people. The bathroom could easily be described as charming instead out dated :). The beds were very comfortable and there was no road noise. The folks working (not sure if they were the owners) were very nice and accommodating. Bonus was the great water pressure! Would definitely stay again.

Great old school charm! The owners are very friendly, classic motel feel! Rooms are amazingly clean, pillow top beds! I never slept better! Heat lamp in bathroom and just minutes from skyline drive at great affordable price! Definatly will come again!

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Lots of good pillows and nice bedding. Good water pressure in the shower. There was a pool and it felt great after a hot trip. Many beautiful flowers on the grounds.

This place is great! They have the most comfortable soft beds I've ever had, in any hotel/motel, not like the dented in bricks you normally get in most places. It was very clean, however it's an older Motel. The rooms are smaller, more like the older motels that this is. The decor is okay, however the wallpaper was a little warped and things are a little old. If that doesn't matter, but cleanliness, comfortable beds at a good price, and being able to drive up to your room matters, that this is a perfect place! The location is great too! It's clearly a family owned place and they take pride in it and maintain it well.

I’m putting 5 stars based on the rate of the room compared to similar hotels for that price.
For $60 dollars, I’ve never slept in a cleaner room. No bed bugs, roaches, dirty beds, and a shower I didn’t feel the need to wear my shoes in. I would go again, especially being on budget.
The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Save yourself some money and go here... you seriously won’t be disappointed for the price you pay.

This is a place that is tucked away in a small knit community surrounded by all the hotel corporate big guys. But the Twi-Lite Motel doesn't need to worry because it's got something that those corporate guys don't have. Class, cleanliness, and quiet. I don't think, in fact I know I've never been in a hotel/motel where I was completely this comfortable. And I don't think Rob has either. The owner was very nice and accommodating and gave us a late check out due to the storm knocking out the tv reception. We had the best sleep that night. The beds were amazing. We laid down and didnt move. With the shower in a clean bathtub with the water pressure being just right and those crisp clean sheets,....we were in heaven. In the morning it was nice to go outside and just take a sit, enjoying my coffee while watching the hustle and bustle of this sleepy town get going. I highly recommend

Super friendly host. The room may have been outdated but it was clean and acceptable. The price is a little high but that is no testament to this location since all motels in the area are at the same price range.

Stayed the weekend there this weekend it's definitely a decent and affordable price and the owner goes out of his way to make sure your hundred percent happy and tells you all the events and things to do in area he was a great guy and definitely most important we have to support the mom and pop business the pool was clean and well maintain everytime you go out u see the owner working on making the place look better and he makes you feel like a guest If you are ever in the front royal area I would recommending staying there close to everything and very clean and affordable. U Won't Be Disappointed

This place was awesome! Sure, the bathrooms are out dated but so is my grandma's house. If you are a priss and want a 5 star experience, then move along and stay in one of the chains. For the rest of us who like to get a good nights sleep, don't mind a room that needs some updating but is clean and comfortable, this place is it. The owner was so warm and even showed us several rooms that we could pick from. We had a fridge and a microwave in our room---and yes, they were clean and worked just fine. The owner checked in on us to make sure we were ok and the next morning he was doing the housework himself as we loaded up our van to leave. He was kind and asked us how we did and if we had any issues. We did not and we told him that we had been on the road for nearly 2 weeks and his place was BY FAR the most comfortable and best sleep of the trip. We don't pay $100+ for Holdiay Inns, etc but instead try to stay within a budget and give privately owned motels our business. We got the room for $55 total and when we are in the area again, we will choose this place over any other place in the Front Royal area.

I chose this place because of the reviews. Indeed it is dated but the place is very clean. Nice beds with new firm pillows. The owners obviously understand business. The price is cheap so really all I can say is if you complain about this place. You’ll complain about anything.

Front desk employee was very nice. Although, it's an older hotel. The room was very clean. Bed's where comfortable. And the lights and TV where left on for us. I would definitely go there again.

We stay here at least twice a year when riding south on the Skyline Drive. A true throwback. Very clean. Owner is great and is always working on the grounds. Very biker/MC friendly.
