Motel 6

Good place for the price! Definitely better than expected considering other Motel 6s that I've stayed at. The area is good and the room was clean. Dog friendly and there is a big field in the back where dogs can roam. My only complaint is that there were only two pillows on the bed and the interior rooms can get loud when people are in the check-in area.

This Motel 6 was very nice. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, mini fridge nice, modern lobby, and coffee was good. I am grateful I got to meet Tika and Daxa at the front desk. They made my stay better than I could’ve asked. Thank you.

Fantastic place for the price! Good a/c, ceiling fan, bed good and firm, bathroom is newly redone as well as the room itself. Good TV, desk. Lighting by the bed is awesome! Wife liked that there was a nightstand on each side of the bed with lots of outlets! I will definitely return here next year without a doubt!!! Dog loved it too, and it's quiet as well!

Rooms are always clean and service is always great and the location is great with a lot of places around to eat. Its really quiet and a great place to stay.

Did a motorcycle ride to skyline drive headed towards the blue ridge parkway and stayed the night there because it's close to the northern entrance to skyline drive. Rooms were clean with a ceiling fan. When we return this year we will stay here again!

I’ve stayed in at least 10 Motel 6s and this one is by the far the best. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The furniture all looks new, good lighting, marble granite bathroom counters, large desk to work from. It’s quiet. The internet is fast and reliable (>30mbps download speeds, ~10mbps upload). The staff is pleasant, housekeeper even offers to replace towels without having to be chased down! Can’t beat the price, I highly recommend.

I’m really confused on the negative reviews. The check in process was very quick and simple. The room was clean and updated. Tv, AC, and fridge all worked with no issues. The shower was clean with hot water and good pressure. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I only stayed for a night but the location seemed nice. Close to stores and gas stations. I would definitely stay again.

This Motel 6 is in a very picturesque setting in Front Royal, VA. Entering the motel it is very spacious, the parking area quite large.
I was promptly greeted by a very pleasant Front Desk Person named Cynthia, a delightful, friendly lady. The check-in process was smooth and handled very professionally by Cynthia.
After getting directions to my room, I headed over. Upon entry I found the room to be spacious and clean. My room had a small refrigerator & microwave in it.
The motel is far enough off the road that road noise was non-existent. I got a good night's sleep.
Don't expect the amenities of a Hampton Inn, you'll not get them. But for a fair price you can get a good night of sleep and comfortable room with WiFi and TV

This is my second time at this facility and it is one of the nicest Motel 6 that I have stayed at. I stay at many several, located east of the Mississippi since my pup is always with me.
Easy parking for my set-up of about 45 ft of truck and trailer. It's convenient to a Sheetz convenience store and a great local pizza place, all within walking.

Not sure why the negative reviews. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Workers were very nice. Would recommend for a night stay when all you need is a bed to sleep in.

We stopped here as a late-night, overnight crash, and were pleasantly surprised. It had easy access to the interstate. Check-in and checkout were quick and the desk clerk was extremely helpful and cheerful. It was an older building, therefore the furniture was rather dated, however, the fixtures were updated. The paint was fresh and bright and the room was well-lighted. The amenities were standard Motel 6....sparse. The parking was Good, and the parking areas were well-lit. Due to the physical layout of the buildings, some rooms are rather far from the office, and therefore, my morning coffee was also far away. Overall the stay was above average, and we would definitely stay there again.

Best service, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Decided at last minute to visit the Shenandoah Valley with our two pups. This hotel was great! Accommodated my husband not being able to walk stairs and needing extra pillows, accepted our pups with no extra fee, and suggested nearby restaurants. The couple running this place were fantastic as well as the two staff we interacted with. Love the wood (not carpeted) floors and the ceiling fan!! Great dog walking area with a gazebo, picnic table, and grill close by. Clean place, great sized room with microwave and fridge, great price, nice people - what more could you ask for? We've found Motel 6 always leaves the light on for us and we'll be back! Namsaste

I can't say enough to recommend the friendly and helpfulness of the front desk staff in their effort to welcome me and make certain that I was comfortable and accommodate my needs during my stay. I came to Front Royal with a group of friends who stayed elsewhere and they wised they had booked rooms at Motel 6 after they found out how reasonable the price is, and the fact the rooms have been renovated recently. I enjoyed the complimentary coffee and flat screen cable television. It was also quiet and the air conditioning unit was across the room far enough away from the bed that it did not blow air directly on me. The 7-11 was very close by where I could buy snacks. Also, the ATM was right across the street. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. If everything stays the same my friends and I will look into reserving a block of rooms on our next visit to the area! Thanks so much!

Clean & quiet rooms, above and away from the road traffic. Evening front desk manager took time & effort to do a quick research on the closest by place with food, wine, & live music for that particular night.

The porch/balcony included tables & seating , and provides a nice view. Speaking of views, the outside fishpond in front of the lobby, reflected the mutual care and attention provided guests. Yes, the fish were happy!

Morning front desk manager was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and personable.

I will return.

I had called the property early on prior to arrival, the Front Desk clerk, Amanda, was extremely pleasant. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful.. upon arrival though, the clerk that was on duty, and I apologize that I cannot remember her name, she was extremely helpful and very courteous. Those two clerks deserve a lot of recognition. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay and might add that the room where we stayed the night was extremely nice and very clean for being a new property.

The people that took this place over have done an amazing job renovating. This place used to be a dump. They have turned it around big time. The place used to be called cool harbor. Absolutely amazing job, the people that run it are very nice people as well
