Linden Park

Great park. Relatively new. Located off the beaten path which leaves to a secluded play ground with Pavillion.
Community book exchange. (Free)

It’s all yo also used for a school bus stop to pick up the kids in the morning and drop them off in the afternoon live on Apple Mountain Lake in around different places close by it’s a safe place for the buses to swing in unload the kids and come out and plenty of parking for their parents to pick them up safely

Great little park for littles (like 1-5) all the slides are small and easy to climb.

Outstanding for toddlers. Plenty of room for bicycles and motorized cars.

Always clean, nice and small far enough away from the busy roads

Nice park.

A small little park. Has a small and a bigger playground area. Meaning one for tiny kids (toddlers) and one for bigger kids (school age). Has a covered picnic area that is lightning protected. Thought that was cool. It also has a porta-potty that is normally decently clean. Normally not disgusting or anything. It's not huge, but it's nice to go and let the kids run around and even ride their little bikes or scooters etc.

I take my son here to play on the playground and ride his bike. They only have one regular swing and one baby swing. The area around the swing gets pretty swampy anytime it rains (even where there is grass), but especially where the kids dig their feet in when stopping. It has a decent amount of sidewalk area so my 4 year old can ride around on his bike. They also have a covered area with picnic tables so that you can sit and have lunch or just watch the kids play. The covered area is big enough that he has actually ridden his bike around underneath it while it was raining, so that was nice. Not as much to do as some of the parks in the county but its closeness to home is a big factor in why we go there. If you are looking for bigger/more playground equipment, go to Rockland Park. If you have little kids, Linden is probably enough and it is usually emptier than Rockland. It is not an uncommon experience for there not to be other children there for the bulk of the time we are there, which is nice especially with COVID.

Great park for toddlers. Small playgrounds and nice undercover area with tables. Do not recommend for older children though.
